Secluded Riverside Paradise with Private Beach

Absolutely amazing place! Stunning property with expansive views, right next to the river, with a lot of land (amazing for fetch with the dog) and privacy. We saw elk and deer pass by through the river and everything. You’re right off the Slocan Valley Rail trail so no need to drive anywhere if you want to go hiking. There’s a beach real nearby too. The house itself is very well set up, everything you need and clean too. There’s even firewood available for your fire pit, though you may need to bring some newspapers and such (and the axe was locked up at the time we were there, but we still managed to make it work). The host was very responsive and helpful as well. Totally accessible with a Tesla model 3 (low clearance) and I even managed to charge it a bit there. There’s no cell reception anywhere close, but the WiFi is excellent at the place. You’re also just 5 min away from a convenience store and 10 min away from a rather amazing breakfast and lunch place. Couldn’t recommend it more

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

We loved our time at Big Bay Stays. This is the most beautiful airbnb we have ever stayed in. The cabin is luxurious and peaceful, overlooking the tranquil lake. Raeanne’‘s place was great. When we arrived, we were welcomed by deer. The house was exactly as described and the kitchen was well stocked. The bird song in the morning is amazing. Absolutely gorgeous. The hosts were available when needed, but did not in any way impose on our privacy. Would definitely stay there again.

Waterfront cedar log home 4 acre

We stayed at Kim's cabin over Christmas and it was a great choice. The cosy, wooden interior, the log fireplace, and the moody views across the lake really made it a special stay. The open layout of the main living area makes for a great group hang-out space. - the well stocked kitchen overlooks the living space, with an island with stools in-between - perfect for laying out spreads for people to graze! The dining area to the side, while removed slightly from the main area, is still very open and holding conversations between the 3 areas was seamless We only used the 2 downstairs bedrooms and the furnishings were good and in-keeping with the cosy and rustic feel. We made use of both the sauna and jacuzzi tub, and both worked well. As a group of just 4 we fit very comfortably, but even with 6 I feel there'd be plenty of room to hang out together, or spread out and have your own space if you wanted. Overall a very comfortable property than captures the warm vibe of the Kootenays.

Chris’s place is so close to the lake- we walked the three minutes to the public area many times and just sat on the beach in our chairs watching the sunrise in the morning and star gazing at night . Chris’s place was clean and well organized Would definitely stay again

Everything about Angel’s place was perfect including Angel 🥰 Location, the suit, views, peace and ease of communication. Angel was helpful with any question/request we had and extremely easy to get along with. She didn’t even mind our yuppie little dog that barked a lot whenever she heard anything or seen her dogs visiting. We felt so bad as her two dogs are so well behaved. Thank you Angel 🥰 We would definitely recommend this place and will be back ourselves.
