  • The apartment was excellent! Beautifully presented with lovely little touches (toothbrushes, biscuits, a few drinks, and a welcome sign!) made it a super lovely stay. Our family who stayed in a inner-city hotel paid more money for much less space. My partner loved the racing chair and the copy of Gran Turismo as well. Perfectly located to not be in the middle of the city, but close enough that nothing is ever far away. We found the beds comfy (including the sofa bed, as there were 3 of us) and very welcome after a long day in Brisbane - such a lovely city! Would definitely recommend to others, and we'd love to stay again if we return to Brisbane.

My home is able to comfortably house six guests, and features two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a stunning view of Brisbane. Situated in beautiful Fortitude Valley, my home is very close to all that you will need, including the stores and restaurants of Brunswick St (2 min walk), and the cultural centres of the CBD (6 min bus). This is one of the best places for you to stay during your trip in Brisbane.
    My apartment is perfect for any traveller to Brisbane - being in close proximity to all that you will need, and being furnished for comfort and luxury. The Brisbane public transport system, as well as a wide range of retail stores and restaurants, are mere minutes away. If you want to explore Brisbane and its surrounding suburbs, my home is in a great location for you to do so. Upon entering my apartment, you will find that the living area is flooded with natural light, thanks to the tall windows that wrap around the room. I have provided for you a large flat-screen LCD television, that you can channel surf from the comfort of the plush sofa which is decked out with down cushions. This sofa can also be pulled out into a sofa-bed, which will able to comfortably sleep two guests. Adjoining the living room is the dining area and kitchen. I have provided you a four-seater dining table, which is perfect for quiet intimate dinners surrounded by the lights of suburban Brisbane, or as a temporary workstation for the business traveller. The designer kitchen is fully-equipped with all the appliances that you will need to whip up a quality meal.   • Great flat close to the CBD with an amazing view. The free ferry is only a few walking minutes away. Check in and out was super easy and Kerry responded really quickly to my messages. Only downside: there is no a/c (but a fan) and it gets quite noise due to the nearby traffic. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay there again !

Kerry was fantastic with communication and made our stay very easy and pleasant. The apartment is well appointed and would suit the fussiest of guests, it is just a short Uber, Taxi or Ferry ride in to the city. The view of the city skyline is breathtaking, the balcony is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. There is free wifi making it easy to connect. I will most certainly be back here again. I have also provided you a large flat-screen television, from where you can watch Australia’s wide range of free broadcasting from the comfort of my plush sofa. There is a two seater table set up, which I enjoy using for my early morning coffees. My two bedrooms are equipped with two double beds, which are fitted with hotel-quality bedding and linen, to enhance your comfort after a long day of exploring Brisbane. Each bed has bedside tables complete with lamps, so you will be able to enjoy your favourite book in bed without straining your eyes. You are free to use the large mirrored wardrobes to store any clothes or any baggage that you otherwise have no space for. My bathroom is furnished in an ultra-modern fashion, and features a toilet, sink and shower. Toiletries including shampoo, conditioner and soap have been provided along with soft fluffy cotton towels. A salon hairdryer has also been left under the sink. The property also comes with a laundry featuring a washer-dryer combo and iron with ironing board. My place is an exquisite house and was built with socializing and groups in mind.     Welcome to South Brisbane! With secure parking located within the building complex and South Bank Train Station being under a 100m walk away, travelling to and from places will be easy. Locally, you’ll be able to purchase all of your groceries from the Woolworths downstairs from my apartment. Let my place be the base for you to happily leave all of your belongings and explore the area! Feel refreshed and revitalised as you enter my open and spacious apartment. You’ll be met with the living room space, where a plush couch and LCD television are waiting for you to lounge around. Take a breather by watching some television whilst having a sip of tea or coffee. The floor-to-ceiling windows will let through some natural light and warmth as well. My place is fitted with a fully equipped kitchen. From the grain wood, marble benchtops and tiled splashback, you’ll be able to cook in style. The high-end appliances consist of an oven, refrigerator, gas stove, quality sink as well as numerous cupboards for storage. Full sets of tableware, glassware and utensils can be found in the pantries, which you can store all of your groceries in as well. I personally use Air BnB to avoid hotel rooms, so was a little disappointed to find this out when I arrived. My room key failed (swipe access) mid stay which could only be dealt with by Ben or Aily physically coming to the lobby to deal with the reception staff.

Her apartment is situated on the 21st floor (the second highest level). Had a nice back view of South Brisbane. The apartment was very cute and cosy. The view from the apartment rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. You get spectacular views onlooking Southbank, the Brisbane river, the city skyline, and you can even see the story bridge from up there. The rooftop is a great place to unwind and includes an infinity pool. Very much enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely stay here again and 100% recommend this place to everyone!

Located in south bank, walking distance to the city. downstair is southbank train station and woolies for daily food buying, also beautiful parkland cross the street with couple of pools and BBQ tables. Amazing facilities at both rooftop and median level includes gym, sauna, steam, BBQ, lounge, entertainment room, dining room and a fabulous pool facing city and Brisbane river at rooftop. Nice and clean apt with unlimited views through balcony and bedroom, smooth communication with Stacie too, if you just traveling Brisbane hope you enjoy ur stay as much as you can : )

    "Shangri-La" is centrally located with a pool, a courtyard, on-site parking, 2 en-suited bedrooms and 1 extra bedroom. It is charming, comfortably appointed and the courtyard and interior decoration gives the house a luxurious and exotic atmosphere.
    A little sanctuary in the heart of Brisbane, Sangri-La is an easy walk to South Bank, the free city hopper ferry, the Gabba, the Valley Restaurants, major Brisbane Hospitals and most Brisbane amenities. With its private courtyard and pool in the backyard its hard to believe you are actually in the CBD. The house has a modern kitchen with all appliances and a central work bench that opens onto the dining area and lounge. The lounge opens onto a patio area that is very private and includes a BBQ for alfresco cooking and dining. The house has 3 bedrooms, two of which are large studio style en-suited bedrooms, one of them has a walk in wardrobe, a study desk and lounge, the other is even larger with a lounge and bunk beds, the third bedroom has two single beds. At the back of the house you have a little private garden with a huge pool for you and your family and friends to enjoy :)

The house is roomy for 4 of us. It can fit 2 more people easily. I would recommend this house for a family and I would come back to this house when I return to Brisbane

  • Shangri La is a very bright, colourful and cheery house with plenty of space. The furnishings were very comfy and helped make our stay a pleasant one. Although it was too cold to swim in the pool, I can imagine in summer this would be a welcome addition to anyone's stay. The location of the house was very central to the city, and many of the inner city attractions. Helene was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and was very helpful with any of our queries.

  • This was our first airbnb experience and were travelling from the UK as a family of 6 with 4 children (17,15,9 and 5) Helene went out of her way from before we arrived to help us out. Although we could not check in early due to other guests we were offered to take our luggage in to a neighbour (Rob who owns the property) who also offered us a shower and drink which was a step beyond what they needed to do but greatly appreciated after a very long journey. The property completely met our needs and we were left to our own devices although Helene was very responsive when we needed her. There were some lovely touches like enough food and essential toiletries to make it so that we didn't have to panic on arrival which was lovely. The property is slightly dated and it is slightly strange that you have to access the bathroom through a bedroom, this wasn't a problem to us but might be if you are a group of friends and you are the one in the third bedroom. The pool area was a bit dated and you couldn't go out without shoes. The pool was a bit deeper than I expected too but the kids still loved it and made good use of it. It was really noisy due to the main road but good location for Southbank, CBD and main areas. We had a slight incident where one of the bedroom doors became locked and couldn't be opened but Helene was very responsive and tried to sort it, although in the end we picked the lock. Helene and Rob assure us they are looking to complete some upgrades and I believe they will, they were great hosts. We stayed for 10 nights. It was much cheaper than hotel alternatives for a large family and much more private. Overall a great first airbnb experience with brilliant hosts and I would thoroughly recommend, especially to other families.

  • The location is fantastic on Kangaroo Point. Nice café 3 min walk (Cliff Café), or restaurants (5 min). Ferry 8 minute walk to cross the river (free City Hopper) The house is great, very big, very confortable, and nicely decorated. * bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with bath tub). Private parking (at least 2 spots). Nice pool. Hélène was very present to assist us when needed (washmachine, etc...). She provides you good advises. Nice taxi driver to contact, he knows the location (65.00 AUD from airport with Maxi cab; Phil (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)). Just can recommend this accomodation!

  • Really lovely place and excellent value when we stayed ($100) Location is very central, view is beautiful and the building itself is quiet. Definitely a hot apartment as others have stated. Be sure to get the fan working before you fall asleep. Noise in the neighborhood is common at night as there are lots of partiers around, but the actual building seems quiet. Would definitely recommend.
