The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

Enjoy your stay in Oldenburg in this peaceful and centrally-located place. By bus (the Drielake bus stop is about 4-5 minutes' walk away), you are at the train station and in the city in a maximum of 10 minutes. It's just as fast by bike. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the university. For families with children, there is a nice, large playground at the end of our cul-de-sac, surrounded by greenery. Shopping facilities (penny, Combi, Lidl) are nearby.

We want you to relax, with good books, in a quiet but cozy environment, with only greenery and tranquility in front of the windows.

There are many shopping opportunities in Wardenburg, 2 km away. The bus station is in 100 m (Oberlethe am Brink)

If you're looking for a peaceful place to relax amidst beautiful fields and greenery, this is the place for you. The modern apartment consists of a large living/dining area, a bedroom with a double-bed and a large bathroom. A garden house with a sauna and bicycles may also be used for a small fee. The charming city of Oldenburg (15 km away) is a great place to go shopping and is also known for its diverse cultural events and night-life.

At the gates of Oldenburg and Bremen, we offer our own granny flat from 2012 with its own kitchen and bathroom with shower. The bed is nice and cozy with enough space for 2 people. It has a large wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private terrace for chilling. The entrance is separate and the tenant is therefore independent of the landlord. A private parking space at the house is available. A bus to Oldenburg leaves only 5 minutes away.

Landidyll Dingstede

The 75 m² apartment is located in the oldest part of a former smoking house surrounded by nature in the Oldenburg region. The apartment was ecologically renovated in 2020. We have retained the original character of the house and combined it with modern elements. From the open dining/living area you can access the terrace in the park-like natural garden, which can also be used. The apartment is suitable for nature lovers.
