Amazing experience: The house is part of a farm, actually a former barn, recently rebuilt with all you need, very stylish and clean place, good equipped kitchen, and fantastic view through the window to the hills opposite. Some animals, superb host and amazing hikes nearby. Can fully recommend if you look for place away from the hustle and bustle of city, want to explore the hills and the 'remote' life in Slovenia. Our hosts also welcomed our dogs which is one more star. Will return, definitely :-)))

Kmetije Tete Lene was everything that you see from the pictures, it is great house in nature for perfect vacation, that you want to come back to again. Urška and Marko are hardworking, crafty people who made great brand. They are easy to talk to and very helpful. This place gives you privacy, but they are always near if you need help or advice. Make sure to try their homemade products and breakfast. We also enjoyed hikes to Lovrenška jezera (moderate to hard hike) and Ribiško jezero (easy hike) . P.S. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is perfect. Dog friendly environment.

Really special place surrounded by beautiful nature and super kind hosts!

This place is a true farm stay. The family has milk cows, sheep, goats, rabbits and more - so be prepared for fresh mountain air and that rural farm smell! The views and setting are spectacular. A great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. The cows do live in the stalls under this house, so the farm smell is pungent at first, but didn't bother any of us. The space was stylish and clean. The house is rather open: the downstairs is one big room with two loft areas open up onto the space (no separate bedrooms, per se). The upstairs loft features two separate sleeping spaces (double bed in one and two single beds in the other). The attic loft has 8 single mattresses. Great space for groups or families who don't require much privacy. Plenty of space outside to relax, walk, play. A word of caution: the water is scalding hot! The family makes a ton of local organic products from spirits and liqueurs to soaps and delicious jams. They are incredibly inexpensive and very high quality - great for gifts.

Urska and Marco are fantastic hosts who Have that extra plus, every guest Just wish for. The house is amazing, it is the perfect combination of traditional and Newwave, it has a fantastic view, and it is perfectly equipped. The nature around it is Just amazing,full of peace and quiet. We had a wonderful time visiting them.cant wait to do it again.

Very good accommodation experience makes me and my husband seem to be in a place for a paradise. There is also a cow and a rabbit. It is also suitable for family travel. The hostess is very enthusiastic to chat with us to share the weather, the house...etc. I bought some farm homemade jams. Next time I have the opportunity to stay a few more days in this wonderful place.

Amazing!!! If you are reading this review, you should definitely book a stay here. 2 days was good, but a 3rd would have been nice for sure. Breathtaking location, extremely calm, peaceful and tranquil. Amazing hosts that are truly inviting and so friendly. A great relaxing break with some amazing scenery and hikes nearby. For me, one of the best airbnb's we've stayed at (out of 30+). Would go out of our way to stay here again, and would highly recommend it. Definitely a highlight of the last 10 months we've spent travelling around Europe. Be sure to walk around the farm with Urska, who was extremely inviting (like everyone else we've met in Slovenia) and inspiring. Such a great place. You can really see the work they've put in to make the space accommodating for visitors, and the care they put into their products and everything they do. Definitely a must-visit!

We highly recommend this cottage- We loved it all: the area, the lodge, the hospitality of Kmetija. The reception was exceptional. We could do e-bike in the mountains. It was very nice.

Stefan’s apartment is really good, it’s got a special touch that makes you really feel in a warm home. His father received us kindly and was always available for any questions. The stay was particularly comfortable. The place is quiet and has all the necessary things in it.

It just doesn't get better than this. Very well appointed and cosy apartment in the centre of Wies. A good starting point for ramblers wanting to explore the local area. This charming apartment features beautiful antique furniture and many other interesting bits and pieces of decoration. Despite its main road location, noise is not a problem. On weekends in the beautiful Steiermark region, Stefan's apartment was PERFECT for my stay. I was warmly welcomed by Stefan's father who did not hesitate to give me the good addresses of the surroundings. The apartment has all that is needed, a well equipped kitchen, a nice living room (with beautiful pictures) and a small terrace outside. I highly recommend Stefan's apartment for your next stay in Southern Austria.

Incredibly romantic, secluded hut, without electricity, without running water in the house, the cottage is ideal for those who want to escape the daily grind, a few days "decelerate". There is nothing missing in the cabin, dishes for self-cooking, beds, stove for heating, running water directly at the house, a pothouse, candles and lamps for the dark, so you can really spend days here. Our host (Christiane) was also extremely nice and helpful, so all in all, we can really recommend this cabin, we will gladly come back.

We had a wonderful time at the Holzknechthütte. It is very secluded at the end of a gravel road in the middle of the forest overlooking the valley. However, it is easy to reach after 15 minutes by car from Eibiswald, past small picturesque farms. The self-catering is accordingly easy, because the nearest supermarket only about a quarter of an hour with the Car needs (and in front of the cabin wonderful porcini mushrooms grow!) The decor is just as in the pictures very tasteful and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired, even if you are not so practiced cooking on the table stove, there is a gas cooker. The morning toilet and dishwashing is no problem, you can warm enough water in the boiler or from the basin in the stove. The evenings by candlelight we especially enjoyed! Really a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the picturesque nature of southern Styria, you can start hiking directly from the hut! Family Assigal was also very helpful and we felt in good hands :)

For peace and freedom, this is the ideal place. Return to the reason to come back to yourself. A beautifully decorated cabin with all basic amenities.

It's a bit cumbersome to get there, it's up the hillside 3km from the village so there are no neighbors. In summer, we got there in good time without any problems

Anita's place is a very nice place to stay. The location has something that other places don't have. In the middle of the forest and the mountains, the place provides a perfect atmosphere to have a rest, hike or everything else you want. Moreover the hosts do a great job! Anita is every time ready to answer every single question you have providing all the informations you need. Anita's family is also available at any moment to make your stay as you would like. I definetly recomend the place!

The house is nice and in the middle of the nature. With GPS not easy to find, abetter to follow instructions of Anita beforehand. We got lost thanks GPS on a forest roads for quite some time and internet was not covered there. Recommended!

A dream! The Schmiedhansl Hube is one of those very special places that have made people shine with a keen sense for the essentials. Who enters it has only 1 problem: not to want to leave! So then planned outings to eye walks: comforting in this clear warm living atmosphere you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the valley, from one terrace to the next, listening to the silence, can be inspired by the furnishings for your own home, rummages in the books ready for it, cooking nicely in the double sense, makes fire sometime later and falls into deep satisfaction without further detours;). As beautiful as the place, so warm and sympathetic was the contact with Marion!

Amazing place and very nice little house you must visit and just enjoy peace, view from a terrace and from windows with nice garden. Our dogs very enjoy our stay too - it’s totally out of the noise but still near all of the essentials. But perhaps you won't leave the house and want to stay in this place every day :)) We deal with it every day and communication with Špela was very flexible and full of kindness. Thank you!!!

A really chic house that you don't even look at from the outside. Well hidden and very quiet location. If you would like to relax for a few days, eg want to make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, you are in good hands here. Local suppliers can be reached in a few minutes by car. Nice little house, if you are looking for peace. The terrace, the fireplace as well as the great bathroom offer space for relaxation. Good location - not far from Kitzeck in the Sausal and the South Styrian Wine Route. Another tip would be the Öhlmühle Hartlieb in Heimschuh and the winery Wutte in Fresing (both only 5 minutes away by car). Andreas answered very uncomplicated and fast to our questions. If you are looking for something quiet, you are exactly right! Everything was fine! We really enjoyed the stay! And come back for sure! In the vicinity you can make beautiful hiking tours. The terrace with the view is just a highlight of this accommodation. The bathroom with the huge bathtub and panoramic windows is a real oasis of well-being.

The photo reportage of this house and environment is entirely consistent with our stay there. The welcome was very welcoming and generous. Everything you need is there and even more than that! The interior is quite full and taste-bound but radiates love for this house at this location. The access road is largely paved and turns into a gravel path. The area around the house is beautiful and so peaceful, a unique place. Recommended!

The house is beautifully situated on the mountain, with a wonderful view of the valley. We were greeted by Bostjan's mother, who is very nice and gave us specialties of the region as a gift. In the house are some games (chess, mill, etc.), which were gladly used by our children. The communication with Bostjan and the equipment of the house were very good. We liked the possibility to rinse outdoors. A car is absolutely necessary. During our stay there was no WiFi. Otherwise highly recommended.

A small house, just like in the past with grandma. Nice that there are still such places. The communication was super and uncomplicated by SMS with Bostjan in German works and then in English with his very nice mother! Respect! The area invites to walks in the nature past some beautiful old farms with good views. Always recommended for people who just want to be away for a few days!

We had a great time in this wonderful cottage! Bostjan and his family have been really nice and made us feel at home. The house was exactly as portraied in the pictures: far from the crowd but easily accessible by car and near to shops. It's a cozy and warm place, built with love and care. Gitta & Jorg place is not easy to find. But Gitta met us at the church and escorted us to their place. Once there, the views are breathtaking and certainly worth it. Gitta made us all feel comfortable. They also have a cafe on-site. Both the food and atmosphere were excellent.

The house is quiet and picturesque, it is very clean and spacious. Our sat nav could not find it, but a friendly walker showed us the way. If you see the sign for Cafehaus Eckhansl, you have to turn. The house is well equipped, especially in the kitchen, there is plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc. But there are no food available, as you often experience in airbnb overnight stays abroad. Apart from salt and a few spices, there is really nothing there, unlike in England, New Zealand or Germany, where you can find coffee, tea, butter, milk, eggs, fruit, etc. The landlords are nice, the communication was fast, friendly and informative, we can only recommend the accommodation.

A beautiful, quiet location, view from the bed of the starry sky and the western Styrian landscape and a very complete equipment. What more do you want? The property is the perfect retreat for two yet close enough to many taverns and scenic gems. Even if you are not a fan of architecture, you feel very comfortable in the modern ambience. A seat would be even more perfect than the two armchairs, but otherwise there's really nothing to criticize. We'll be back for sure. Thanks Klaus!

An architectural gem in a great location.

If you want to escape the city for a few days and relax in the Sausal, LandLoft is the place for you. The magnificent view of nature, the tranquility and the harmonious design ensure relaxation in no time. The chic wingback chairs are as comfortable as the bed and the well-equipped kitchen plays all the pieces with all the appliances, dishes and basic cooking ingredients. When we arrived, we expected freshly harvested grapes, the fridge was stocked with butter, free range eggs and orange juice. The underfloor heating and rain shower make the small bathroom very comfortable - although not in the description, a hair dryer is also available. If you quickly get cold feet, bring slippers, otherwise everything is really there.

You can expect a very unusual studio built over a wine cellar. It is extremely comfortable and well situated in a small, picturesque village. We thoroughly enjoyed 8 days there, exploring the many vineyards and other attractions in the area.

Great and special accommodation. Perfect for relaxing and switching off. Easy check in. We will be back.

This hause is a true architecture and design gem! We spend a wonderful time there and felt very inspired by the details, views and surrounding. We spent 3 nights at Das Heimathaus and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it! The house is done with such excellent 'taste' and with a rare (and great) combination of old/classic material combined with modern features. It has all the comforts and amenities you could ask for, the location is perfect for a 'getaway' but not far from anything you need. We had such a lovely time at Alexandra's house! Her mother was so sweet and thoughtful, she even picked us up at the bus stop. The home was very clean, spacious and homey. There is a large bathtub which was really nice since it was raining while we were there. Great location near the town centre and close to all amenities. We would highly recommend this house for anyone visiting the beautiful Styrian countryside!

I really recommend this beautiful house if you want to spend a great vacation on a quite place with a stunning view! Every morning we woke up with breathtaking sunrise behind the window... We were a group of 10 friends, who went to Ojstrica to enjoy biking and hiking and the house was very well prepared for this kind of vacation. There was everything we needed - even a grill, lots of board games and projector with huge collection of movies to keep you entertained during the evenings :) And last but not least, the communication with Alex was really great. We spent two fantastic weeks at Alex's house. The house is located in a beautiful mountain area with views that no pictures are able to show. The house is spacious, has all the facilities needed for a family with four children. Wifi works fine. You can drink tap water. We used bikes, although the routes are quite demanding. An ideal place for hiking. On hot days we went to a nearby bathing resort in Lavamünd. Alexa's tips on restaurants were also very helpful. Our sons often used the skate park in Dravograd and pumptrack in Muta. In Dravograd are large stores, and even a bakery open on Sunday. Roads are very well maintained and marked, but you have to drive carefully through the mountain serpentine. I recommend Alex's house for people who like close contact with nature, peace and quiet relaxation without the tourist hustle and bustle. We love it!

We were a group of 10 friends and we stayed in the house for one night. The house was perfect for us and we loved being there. The view is great, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and eating, rooms were comfortable and toilets were nice and clean. There was also a home entertainment system that we could enjoy during our short stay. Communication was easy through messages in Airbnb. We never met Alex but check in and out was clear and easy. House on the hill was a great starting point for our Slovenia trip. It’s special, has good vibes and we highly recommend it.

Very big apartment, clean and fully equipped for children (toys and playground in the garden), babies (high chair, baby cot and changing table) and dogs (bed and bowls). Helga and her husband are very helpful and nice. Super breakfast provided with fresh local products (also home-made like honey, apple juice and cider) and fresh bread every morning. We have already spent a night at Helga while traveling to Croatia and were completely satisfied. The communication and the check in worked without problems and on site we were really impressed by the large, clean and beautifully decorated accommodation! We were also received a warm welcome. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. Sleepy and satisfied, we could start our further journey. Today we spend (on our return journey) another night at Helga and are just as excited as 10 days ago! Here we would stay again at any time. Quite well for longer stays!

We had such a great time here! Robert and his wife were amazing hosts welcoming us at the house and guiding us to all the secrets of the fantastic area. The house was more than we expected, it was very clean and my kids loved to play with their beautiful and friendly cat. We even spot a wild deer while seating at their yard! The place is so nice... my husband and Iwish we could’ve stayed longer! Definitely recommend!!!

Green Inn is a beautiful place in enchanting surroundings and the family is very welcoming. The appartment was clean and full of nice touches. We slept great! We enjoyed the nature outside, feasted on fresh pears and currants, hiked to the nearby hill. We are very much hoping we come again.

It is a great place if you want to relax, and like hiking. The neighborhood is silent and still. The apartmant is totally clean and huge for two people. The bad was a little bit short for us. The kitchen is well equipped. In the next town we have found a good restaurant that offered lokal specialty. Our hosts were wery kind, you can not even notice that they live above you. Robert talked about his profession it is wery interesting and really worth to listen to him.

This place is so great. Katja is a wonderful hostess. She communicated well, greeted us when we arrived, and made us feel at home. She makes a very nice locally sourced breakfast if you want to add that to your stay. There is a couple that lives in the bottom part of the house. They are very friendly and welcoming as well. The entire upstairs is the space with 3 double beds each with private bath and a nice kitchen. The shower was hot, we slept comfortably, and the view from the huge balcony of the mist in the mountains is beautiful. We arrived late and Katja called a local restaurant to let them know not to close and Roland drove us there so we would get in there in time (pizza place- it was amazing!). Katja also hooked us up with local tips and other places to go and helped us get there too. This area is very quiet, but it is a wonderful place to visit. We did the Glanzer Wein Tour hiking trail through the vineyards that is about 20 minutes away and it was such a great part of our trip. I completely recommend staying here!

The stay in the idyllic Untergreith was very nice. We were warmly welcomed by Katja and also during the stay very hospitable. Especially for several people it was ideal, as you could sit comfortably in the kitchen and outside on the grill under grapevines. The location is very quiet and surrounded by nature with greenery and a few animals. Highly recommended !
