Our Ash Cabin is located at Spur of the Moment Ranch, at the southern end of the Nicolet National Forest. Our guests enjoy recreation in the outdoors. It sits on the Nicolet Recreational Trail which is a 90 mile long old railroad bed off of which other trails join. Bring your ATV and UTV's, horses for riding and carriage driving, and snowmobiles. The ranch is dog-friendly. Enjoy hiking, x-country skiing, snow-shoeing, water sports in anyone of our 58 lakes and 38 streams in the county.
  • The cabin was clean, comfortable, and charming. Ann was a great host, very kind and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again!

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). Hit the snowmobile trails or ski Granite Peak. Hike or snowshoe the Ice Age Trail.
We are located close enough to Weston if you need to commute to the hospital there and meet your distance requirements, nice for long-term stays for traveling physicians. Get in touch with nature- unplug and unwind with fun amenities like a private pond, sauna and hot tub. Quiet country road and black topped driveway. The apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen for the perfect space to prepare a home-cooked meal. The cupboards in the kitchen have a great variety of board games.
Our neighbors are down-to-earth families who are hard working and enjoy the country life.
  • What a great time we had! The apartment was sparkling clean with all the basic amenities. Hot tub was great! Jolynne and her husband David were very nice and you can tell they really enjoy being hosts. The area was fun to explore, lots of great trails nearby and a great little restaurant. We will definitely be back soon!

Tomorrow River Homestead provides community lodging and programming in a quaint village setting in Central Wisconsin. We offer private rooms, large shared kitchen, washrooms, and a living room/office. There is an open studio for artists, a garden available for tending and 4.5 acres to explore along the Tomorrow River. Guests may relax in common areas or experience the river, lake, and 40 acres of trails. We welcome all and encourage folks of all identities to find refuge on our peaceful land.
Each room is flooded with natural light with views of the our old red barn. You can cozy up in a queen bed under a down comforter and enjoy the stillness of the country. While wifi does not reach each private room, guests have access to internet in the large communal kitchen, the living room/office or the artist studio. Our kitchen is stocked with basic cooking amenities, gas stove, a refrigerator for guests to store food and stocked with Ruby Coffee roasted just across the street. Room 5 is our most popular because we keep it the least expensive due to its relative size to our other rooms. This specific room measures 8' x 14'. While most guest love that this is the least expensive room they often realize it’s the smaller room. Please do not book if you want 3 extra feet of room, please consider checking out rooms 3 and 4. Guests can use our canoe or black tubes to travel the Tomorrow River which borders the back of our property. Hike the Nelsonville Community Sanctuary, a 40 acre nature trail located just down the street from our homestead. Discover Lake Elaine just a 15 minute walk south or ride bikes along the Ice Age Trail. Central Wisconsin is known for its small organic farms, quaint food co-ops and a year round farmers market. We have a wonderful array of restaurants, but guests should feel welcome to shop local and cook up in the kitchen. Get a flight or bring home a growler from Central Waters (Amherst), Oso’s (Plover) or H.H. Hinder (Waupaca). Whether you head 15 minutes west to Stevens Point or 20 minutes east to Waupaca, there is plenty for the pallet. Our home is not ADA accessible, our main living room area and washroom is up two steps. There is an extra bathroom large enough for a wheelchair, but it is not coded ADA. The hallways and doors are wide enough for wheelchairs, but there is a 1" bump at the two exterior entrances. We are dedicated to becoming more suitable for folks with varying abilities and we encourage you to contact us for details, inquiries and suggestions. This room is located in a wide corridor with six rooms total. We currently rent out four of these rooms to guests. For a group rate, please message for availability and rate.
Nelsonville is one of those quaint places you always dream of stumbling upon while traveling. We moved here last year because we wanted to be around an incredible progressive group of folks passionate about good food, great art and the best coffee. Luckily for us, it is all here. Located 3 hours from both Minneapolis and Chicago, we offer a lovely spot outside of the cities to relax. Whether passing through on a cross country road trip and needing to crash for the night or wanting to find a place to dig in a couple days, we have what you need. A mile from our home is a 40 acre hiking trail the Village has been diligently blazing and it is beautiful. There is a park with a merry go round, swings and a slide for kiddos just a block away. Exactly one mile the other way there is Lake Elaine with a quaint beach to get your feet wet and swim. We are home to Ruby Coffee, a world renowned coffee roaster with a tasting room open Sat/Sun. There are yoga classes across the street at the old Wallers Market. Judah Studios is a place where you can find local art. Check our website to learn more about the arts and programming we provide on our property to the community and guests. 2 minutes away: Whitetail lanes offer bowling, games, bar and food. 7 minutes away: O'Briens pub has a great atmosphere, Central Waters provides locally brewed beers on tap. 15 minutes away: Stevens Point
  • If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place. No TVs - so you can truly disconnect or connect with a loved one. The beds are amazing - you won’t want to get up in the morning. This is why we are repeat customers. So much nicer than any hotel - the cozy ambiance is hard to beat. Plus you have a complete kitchen if you want to enjoy a homemade meal. Highly recommend this amazing homestead.

    Melita2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Tomorrow River Homestead is peaceful and comfortable, with many creative touches. We got some skiing and fatbiking in at Standing Rocks County park (~10 min away) and sipped coffee at Ruby (just across the street). We enjoyed spending time reading and writing in the living room and purusing the many infesting books on Rue and Zay shared. Our room was quiet and comfortable. There was one other guest while we were there and the space afforded us plenty of privacy, it never felt crowded. Definitely would recommend and I hope we can come back soon!

    Maggie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. In a small quite town so it’s easy to unwind after running around all day. The room is perfect. Cozy clean and crisp. Kinda feels like your in a bed and breakfast or a hostel in Europe.

    Keely2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Rue & Zay have created a tranquil escape from daily life. Their property is located right off of a small river, and each of the rooms is decorated in a minimalistic way that makes you appreciate the little touches of art scattered throughout the building. They also offered up some much needed food recommendations; vegan included. I would definitely stay here again.

A cozy cottage right on the water with beautiful views of the Cloverleaf Chain of Lakes. Walking distance to eat and have drinks. Close to town, but peaceful and beautiful.
We like the comforts of home so we've got everything you need: fridge, stove, coffee bar, A/C, furnace, YouTube TV and Netflix, WiFi, books, toys.
    Pleasant, quiet, and friendly.
  • Our stay at this cozy cabin far exceeded our expectations! Located in an idyllic setting, this cabin is so warm and welcoming and has amazing views of the lake. We were able to enjoy walking around the lake to a quaint park where there's a beach and playground. We also LOVED the location -close to a few bars/restaurants and a short distance to town. My Home Away From Home is a charming older home. The house is listed on the Wisconsin Historical website, reference number 119772. Built in 1884 by Edward Siedschlag. We purchased it at an estate auction from Arietta Lemke in July of 2002. Arietta was a grandaughter of Edward Siedchlag and lived in the home her entire life. Arietta was a friend of my moms and we went to church together.
My Home away from Home (downstairs apt.) is a nice cozy getaway. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with off street parking. Huge fenced back yard can be used for grilling or having a picnic, or just enjoying yourself in peace and quiet. Shawano is 27 miles from Green Bay, 35 miles from Lambeau Field. Very close to the Mountain Bay Trail, snow mobile and at trails, enough parking for your trailer.
Home away from Home is 1 block from the Wolf River and Wolf River Beach and 1 block away from the channel connecting the Wolf River to Shawano Lake. In the winter there is snowmobiling, ice fishing, ice skating and hockey. In the summer there is swimming, boating and bike trails. We are 32 miles from Green Bay, about 35 miles from Lambeau Field and very close to Shawano Fairgrounds and the stock car races! We are 8 miles from the Menominee Casino and 20 miles from Northstar Casino.

  • Great location for a nights stay. Clean premise and you can tell clear thought went into upgrading the place for guests. However when reading "entire suite" we figured we'd have the whole premise to ourselves, but the owner was upstairs. Great place and value, just not exactly what was expected.

    Rosa2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • The suite is very nice. You can tell a lot of care went into putting everything together. If you're bigger than a size 20, or taller than 5'10", the bathroom might be a bit cramped for you. Basement is cold in the winter but they have a lovely space heater to make it toasty!

    Carmen2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about the Gray Ghost is amazing. Starting with the owner, she made everything easy and facilitated our welcome into her home. It truly felt like a private experience at this stay. She provided amenities started from coffee, tea to magazines all the way from personalized coupons at local eateries. Thank you Karmen and to anyone considering coming here: it is definitely worth its price.

This rustic retreat is at the end of a dead end road and not only is it surrounded by nature, but it is also nestled in amongst old farm buildings. The serenity of the peace and quiet will instantly relax you. Still it is very close to the Iola Old Car Show and the doings at Symco, such as the Symco Thresheree, and Throwdown. The location is perfect for all of the events in Waupaca, Portage and Shawano counties.
The attached screen porch allows you to nap, eat, or visit without being indoors. The kitchen is fully equipped to do as much cooking or baking as you desire. Even spices are included. The bathroom contains a shower and sink. There is also plenty of storage for your bags and clothes. Plumbing for a toilet is not included as there is a cute outhouse closeby.
The property is quite isolated and usually you will not even hear a car in the neighborhood. However, you are only 13 minutes away from Iola, or 30 minutes from Waupaca, Manawa, Symco, or Stevens Point. There are also good trout fishing streams nearby as well as pan fishing lakes.

  • Joe's treehouse is a wonderful getaway and great experience! Tucked back in the woods for serenity and relaxation yet close to town. My wife and I surprised our 3 boys and they were blown away and still talking about it a week later!

  • The treehouse is better than one would expect. Clean, comfortable , and secluded, this memorable place offers nature's best in many ways.

    Nancy2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a unique spot! My husband and I stayed here for the weekend with our dog and it exceeded our expectations. It is very peaceful and secluded and makes for a perfect getaway. We weren't quite sure what to expect for a treehouse, but the house is updated and in great shape! We especially loved sitting out on the deck watching the river. We are hoping to make it back again someday!

    Adela2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse was the perfect place to escape and recharge! The space was clean, inviting, and charging. We were able to cook at the tree house and contained various small kitchen essentials to prepare our own food rather than dining or for every meal. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor shower...something neither of us anticipated on using, but it was so unique and refreshing! We were SO thankful we were allowed to bring our two small dogs who enjoyed this scenic retreat just as much as we did. If you’re looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, this spot is just what you need! Thanks again for the great stay!

The base price for this listing is for 1-2 guests; if you have 3 or 4 guests, please indicate that on your reservation and a fee per person per night will be assessed to your Airbnb invoice. There is a maximum of *4 guests* for number of beds for the listed price per night. Please message me if you will have a 5 or more guests. Thanks!
This is a quiet, residential lakefront neighborhood
  • What a lovely space to stay! It was quiet and cozy by the lake. Terri was very kind, even when we got lost on our way to check in (our fault). She had lots of local tips. Thank you for having us! We want to visit again to try out some local supper clubs!

We loved the fire pit and the grill too! The bed and linens are amazing!! We had a great time and would highly recommend this rental!

    Robert2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful home. Very clean and spacious. I was thinking maybe the ranch home would be a little more confining but it was very spacious and comfortable for four couples. All of the furniture and beds were very comfortable. Very large kitchen table good for eight people to eat and play games at. The surrounding property looked very nice but it was cold so we didn’t go outside. The homeowners were very prompt with snow removal. Thanks for the great place to get away!

You will be staying in a large, cozy and clean two bedroom apartment in historic downtown Antigo, Wisconsin. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, you will be walking distance from unique shops, historic museum, children's playground, gym, and several restaurants, and local bars, as well as a grocery store, the police department, the public library, the city hall and the boardwalk of Antigo lake a nice place to walk or jog.
The apartment is decorated in a retro style, with art made by local artists.
Downtown Antigo is a safe neighborhood, and this apartment is waking distance from just about anything that is interesting in Antigo. There are beautiful turn of the century buildings, unique shops, churches, courthouse, parks with a children's playground, lake with a boardwalk, grocery store, restaurants and bars. Compared to local motels, there is no comparison. Regarding food, the apartment has a full kitchen, a working 1950's retro electric stove with a food warmer, which is a rare pleasure to cook on, but if you choose to go out, there are a number of restaurants to choose from, Across the street, there is Dixie lunch, open from 5 am to 10 pm, and 5th avenue restaurant, fresh inexpensive salad bar and drinks. A block away is Game On, the local sports bar and grill, try their pork wings, and stop by for a game of pool or some mind bending Virtual Reality games as well as multiple screens to watch just about any game you want. If you're a frequent visitor ask them about the big hitters club ($50 annual membership fee entitles you to a free daily drink for a whole year). BB Jacks for Great Pizza, There are several bars around, Taphouse (Good Beer Selection), Skeezos ($1 beers) or Animals (Good Burgers), for the younger crowd, Game On (Good Food and Top Shelf Booze), Three Jokers ($1 beers) & 5th Ave Restaurant for the older crowd, (good beer but can get loud) . Coffee shops in Antigo are not that great, the only place to get a decent cappuccino is in your own kitchen on our

    Leon2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time using Airbnb normally when we come to Wisconsin to visit family we stay in a hotel. So happy we found Rocky’s place. This house was immaculate! He had everything over and above our expectations from household supplies to yard games, bikes, wagon and kayaks for us to use plus so much more. We had family come to the house to visit and they also commented how nice it was and they felt like they were visiting us at our home because we were able to bbq and play yard games. We definitely recommend this place and will be staying again!!

    Jan2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Expect a great stay, lots of things for the kids to do, including bikes, kayaks, and yard games! Close to the beach and boat launch. Near to the County Park store and ice cream shop. And Rocky was responsive via text and easy to work with.

  • This was a perfect getaway for our family. It is in a great location for a family looking to spend time at the beach and outside. The space was so clean and has all the items you need to be comfortable. There were bikes, games available and a wagon for all your beach toys. We look forward to booking again!

    Kimberly2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • this cozy little cabin was a wonderful place to stay. It's very clean and conveniently located.

    Christopher2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • As first time Airbnb users we didn't know what to expect but couldn't be more happier with our trip. Rocky was a fantastic and knowledgable host and has anything and everything you could need to make your trip successful and memorable. From kitchen amenities to yard games and outdoor activities-he had it all. This location was a quick minute walk to the public beach, park, and boat launch. We kayaked, biked, grilled, played bags and a nightly bonfire in our short three day stay. We didn't want it to end and hope we can come back next summer! Highly recommend this location for a nice family getaway.

I recently purchased this property from a family that owned it since the l940's. Little has changed. Think Leopold-Thoreou. 2 acres- 300 feet of lake frontage on a very clean lake. Very private. Nature provides the surround sound and your shower.
The cottage is only two hours north of Madison and yet it feels like you are way up north. The lake is very clear and clean with great swimming and fishing. Electricity has been updated and new appliances added. There are skylights in the main room. This great place however is not for everyone. It is very primitive. The cabin is unfinished and the bathroom is an outhouse. There is no shower. Please bring your own towels and sheets (full size beds). Bring your own drinking water. Drinking water is available at Lake Helen County Park. Leave the cabin as you found it; we do not live nearby and are not around to clean up after every guest.
The lake is very quiet morning and evening. No wake lake between 4pm and 10am strictly enforced.
  • Great cabin and location.

  • If you like roughing it (meaning no running water) you will love this little gem on a beautiful lake. Shallow and clear. Great for kayaking. Very wooded area which I loved. Richard has everything you need and more. He even made the outhouse pleasant😀. Great to have a stove and fridge.

    Steph2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful small shallow sandy lake is my happy place to just float and relax. 5 beds make this a great place for family get always. Fishing is good, my nephew caught and released several bass right off the dock. This place has everything you could possibly need or want including AM/FM radio that we used to listen as the storms came through. We were thankful to have had that information because the cell service is not the greatest out there. The beds are soft and the cabin is settled along the shore so a nice breeze comes in. There are games and fun water toys to use too.

Surrounded by the silence of the forest, you can relax here, away from the bustle of everyday life. Enjoy easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails. Explore the local cross country, mountain bike and snowshoe trails. Ice fish the numerous small lakes, enjoy local restaurants, shops, winery, and art. Always wise to drive a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to this property in winter and spring. Also check out our other Airbnb rental, Ott's Cozy Suite, located 3/4 mile away on this 60-acre property!
Two small bedrooms with a full size bed in each and a usable closet in one, provide sleeping comfort. A full size futon in the living room makes sleeping space for a couple more. Six people is our max. Please don't try to squeeze in more. Our Cozy Cabin kitchen has standard size appliances, cook, bake and serving ware and basic spices for preparing delicious meals. This is an all season cabin with electric heat. We have no air conditioning; but if you keep the windows closed and blinds drawn during the heat of the summer day, the place stays pleasantly cool. The cabin is about 500 square feet. It is cozy; and although technically it can sleep six adults, those six people better like togetherness while they are inside! Realizing that not all groups of 6 want to sleep in 3 full size beds, we don't mind if you want to bring a tent in order to spread out a bit, as long as you don't exceed the total of 6 people at our property. Our water heater and septic system is not set up for large groups. The sweet space inside extends outside with a nice, big, outdoor deck and a fire pit with complimentary firewood. Many people ask if they can bring their well-behaved, quiet pet to our Cozies. We do not allow pets, well behaved or otherwise, inside our rentals. However, if you wish to bring a kennel or leash to keep your well-behaved, quiet, friendly pet outdoors, promise to clean up all waste immediately upon deposit, and repair any unexpected damage your pet might uncharacteristically create such as digging holes, scratching buildings/doors, tearing screens, chewing items not meant for his/her chewing....we don't mind their presence. A past guest, who brought his dog, also brought a canopy which he erected on the deck, under which he put a kennel. It worked great for providing shelter from rain and sun, not only for the dog, but also for his family while they enjoyed their time playing games at the picnic table! For those who find it unacceptable to keep their pet outside, other Airbnbs exist which have a different policy. Please patronize them instead.
Our Cozy Cabin feels remote; but we do have neighbors. We appreciate that you honor our request that this be a quiet retreat. Nature is the main draw; but there are a few little towns within 15-20 miles of our place. Visit Langlade and Oconto Counties' websites for great resources of things to do in our area. Lakewood Area Chamber of Commerce, Red Arrow ATV and Snowmobile Club and Lily Sno-Birds Snowmobile Club also have valuable information on their websites. While we encourage you to explore our acreage, it is REALLY important that you do not trespass on our neighbors' properties. Please talk to us before you explore so we can guide you in acceptable directions. A map of our property is in the Cozy Cabin. Our neighbors do have trail cameras in their woods. Your presence will be detected on their property. Every time a guest "accidentally" finds themselves on private property other than ours, our reputation, and that of Airbnb, is diminished. We'd like to keep hosting. Please don't anger our neighbors by not respecting their property boundaries. If you don't know, don't go!
  • Great place for hitting the snowmobile trails. Quaint and peaceful, perfect for a getaway!

  • thank you Lisa for your warm hospitality, clean place, and providing everything we needed. I would recommend the cabin or the suite to anyone who wants to stay in the area. They are an excellent value and you will have wonderful hosts.

  • The perfect place to be one with nature. The word “cozy” is really the perfect way to describe this cute location. They really went out of their way to add detail to the design making it more than just a place to rent, it was an experience. The owners are really good people who care very much about their property and the people who stay there. They really have it set up in a way you can fully enjoy the cabin as well as the outdoors. We will definitely try to come back some day.

    Brett2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa was great! The house manual and all instructions were very helpful and let us know exactly what we were in for. There were enough activities to keep us busy for a few days right there on the property. There was a decent snow fall one night and Mike & Lisa came up to the cabin to clear all the snow out. I would highly recommend checking this place out in the winter!

    Matt2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cozy was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. A very good place to go for a change in pace and scenery. 👍

    Corrindia2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa and Mike were exceptionally kind, accommodating, and communicative hosts. First, the location: their cozy cabin was the perfect warm and wonderful place to escape from the bustle of the city. The beautiful and pristine Wisconsin Northwoods are worthy of feature on a postcard. Next, the hospitality: Lisa warned us well in advance of an approaching winter storm on the second night of our stay and warmly invited us to seek refuge at their home, by their warm wood stove, in case the power went out. Luckily, we slept warm and comfortably through the storm in the sweet cozy cabin. When we awoke to nearly 10 inches of unplowed snow on the day of our departure, again Lisa and Mike jumped to action to help us make it safely out of the woods. We had to dig our cars out of the snow more than once, and ended up waiting for county plow to make it to the wooded roads, but our hosts kindly and patiently accommodated all the while. Overall, our stay was comfortable and relaxing with a twist of excitement and an unforgettable adventure.

  • Great little cabin. Very clean and up to date but has the cabin feel. Very nice owners and good price. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

    Cole2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Should have stayed two weeks, not one. It was exactly what I needed and fit my vacation imaginings perfectly. I really don't know where to start. Perfectly clean, amazingly stocked (even if you're an amateur chef, you'll find enough pots, appliances, gadgets, to keep you going. The area around the cabin is beautiful and really well maintained. The quiet and solitude are as undisturbed as you'd like them to be. The grounds and surrounding forests are quite beautiful. The little, thoughtful things I discovered in and around the cabin were the real standout for me. No spoilers, but there are small, surprise touches for both adults and young children. To me, that's above and beyond for hosts. Resounding endorsement all around. I'm 100% certain I'll go back to this peaceful refuge in the woods.

If you like snowmobiling, this is the place to stay. We are located right next to the snowmobile trails and you can snowmobile from our house to get to the trails.
We are located 45 minutes away from Granite Peak Ski Area. The ski resort has over 70 runs and is open November through April. There are lots of hiking trails and lakes nearby. I’m happy to give you other ideas on what else there is to do in the area if you’d like.
  • Close enough to Granite Peak to ski. Great hiking trails and Tarah gave us a wonderful tour of the potato farm. We really enjoyed her hospitality and wonderful breakfasts during our visit.

  • Tarah’s potato farm was a wonderful and warm place to stay in wintry Wisconsin. The home is absolutely beautiful and she is a pleasant conversationalist and the dogs were so sweet to play with. We felt just like part of her family and would absolutely stay again. We got in pretty late and she was so accommodating and made us delicious breakfasts.

    Patric2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Tara is a wonderful host. She greeted us at the door and right off she was very kind and helpful, asking us numerous times if we needed anything. The house is gorgeous and our space was nice also. All of the reviews you read about this home are exactly true with no exaggeration. It truly is that nice.

  • A sense of home, being a treasured guest, feeling relaxed and at peace. The amenities were great, but I especially appreciated the hot tub (awwwww....), the delightful breakfasts (yummy and even the coffee was great!) the stories about the history of this family home and HUGE potato farm and the dogs. Most of all? I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and chatting with Tarah, the hostess. I sure enjoyed her company! And the house was quiet ..so peaceful!

  • Wow! What a month I have had on Rollofson Lake. The cabin is quaint and filled with all you need. Both the outside deck and screened in porch offer space and incredible views of the lake. Walk down and fish off the dock or paddle out and fish anywhere on the lake. You will find such peace here. Darren is a gracious and communicative host, who responds quickly to questions. Cannot wait to stay here again. Truly a 5 Star experience.

    Peggy2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place was clean, cozy, and has some brand new stuff. My family and I had a great time and the lake view was fantastic! You can do many activities such as kayaking and fishing in the lake. The host was quickly responding to my texts and he provided me with lists of activities and events around the area. He was so kind and generous and was the first host who brought us a gift (fresh fruits and vegetables) from California! The neighbors also were so nice and friendly. I highly recommending his place; you won’t regret visiting this great place.

Fish Rock Cabin on Lake Jacqueline We purchased this property 15 years ago and have made many memories here. Our desire is to provide an opportunity for other families to make their own memories at the lake. Our cabin is on a no wake, electric motor only lake. The fishing on our lake is phenomenal (WDNR Quality Fishing Lake). The Cabin itself, has electricity and heat, but no indoor plumbing. Drinking water is available from a pitcher pump. All of this is located on a wooded 2 acres.
Our rustic cabin has electricity, but no indoor plumbing. We recently purchased a new porta potty (has replaced our outhouse) for comfort. Our cabin also has a fire pit and a water pump located close to the cabin that provides drinking water. All of this is located on 2 acres with 100 ft of fishing frontage. This vacation get-a-way is specifically for those looking for a quiet camping experience, without having to worry about the discomforts of using a tent and noisy campgrounds. The cabin is 2 rooms exceptionally well kept. It includes a futon, roll-a-way bed and 2 cots for sleeping. It also has a small refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen nook is perfect for meals and there are a number of cabinets that may be used for storage space. Enjoy Lake Jacqueline on our pier or in one of our water craft (a paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a 14' rowboat are available for your use during your stay). Lake Jacqueline is a clear, no wake, electric motor only lake that is perfect for fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing and other silent sports. Swimming off the pier is great, but it is more of a jump in and climb back on the pier experience as our shoreline is composed of softer sediment. Fish Rock Cabin is located on the sparsely populated North end of the Lake, near the Portage County Lake Jacqueline Nature Preserve. Come enjoy our comfortable family friendly camping cabin. **Pets are welcome with an additional per stay Pet Fee ($40 - under 20lbs, $60 - over 20lbs). Applicable fees are per pet.
Our cabin has a neighbor on one side, but we have a vegetative buffer that will provide you significant privacy. Our property will offer more privacy then you can get at almost all campgrounds.
  • Everything is exactly as advertised. We wanted a camping experience without the tent due to our two dogs, and Andrew's place worked out perfectly! We had privacy but close enough if we had any issues or questions, Andrew was not far away to help out.

    Kara2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew is an amazing host! Very kind and very helpful! The property is beautiful and very well kept. So relaxing, and many things to do right there that we didn't go anywhere else during our stay. Highly recommend! Great family experience! We will be going back in the future

  • We loved staying at the cabin! Everything was very well marked. We absolutely LOVED having access to the boats, they were such a blast! Andrew gave us a whole list of hiking suggestions, as well as detailed instructions for arrival and checkout. It was super quiet and private, a perfect location for our weekend getaway! • The space is exactly as described. We had such a great time listening to the loons. Our dog loved swimming, and we enjoyed relaxing on some floaties near the dock. If you are looking for a great camping trip without the hassle of a tent or cramped camping grounds I would highly recommend this space. We had a great time, and would definitely go back.

Nelsonville is one of those quaint places you always dream of stumbling upon while traveling. We moved here in 2017 because we wanted to be around an incredible progressive group of folks passionate about good food, great art and the best coffee. • Love this space❤️ simple, and elegant. It was a great place recenter and disconnect from screen time. Perfect getaway during the week, and check out Ruby coffee roasters for your morning joe and scone.

  • Perfect place for a pit stop. We were on our way north for a xc ski trip and needed somewhere to stay for the evening. Self-check in worked out fantastically and we honestly were a bit sad that we weren't stay for a longer amount of time. We didn't have any contact with hosts during our stay, but the place was incredibly clean and welcoming. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.

  • This place is SUCH a gem! If you're looking for a relaxed, art-centered, inclusive space with a communal vibe, look no further! I would absolutely recommend staying at the homestead, especially if you're looking for a new lodging experience!

  • A fantastic place to stay for the week! Rubina was super helpful in getting us acquainted with the area but we also had the ability to have privacy in the patio and at times in the communal kitchen. The bathroom is shared which wasn’t an issue for us. I would have liked a few more kitchen essentials and a way to organize our food items in the shared kitchen but it wasn’t any huge issue. A great place! We’ll be back!

  • One of my favorite Airbnb’s. Loved the warm and peaceful energy here. Such a creative and lovely space to relax, refresh, and write. Looking forward to returning again in the fall and winter.

  • We are a young couple who stayed at Rubina's place for a long weekend. We absolutely liked the place. It is very quite and clean. The hosts are also very friendly in case you want to start a conversation with them. However, if you appreciate your privacy and want to be on your own, they absolutely respect that.

This specific room measures 10’ x 14’.

  • I had another great stay at the Homestead. It was again peaceful, relaxing, clean, and the bed...it’s the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and puts my own (not cheap) bed to shame. My favorite part was still the art studio. You can see that it’s a room that’s used to create and I feel immediately inspired to do so every time I step foot in there. The only bad thing about my stays so far is having to leave! :( (already planning my next trip, though!)

  • I had a great stay! I felt that everything was exactly as portrayed. It was bright and clean and quiet. Rue briefly stopped by to check that I was getting settled in okay, which was appreciated, and then I got to spend the remainder of my time creating in peace, which was exactly how I’d hoped to spend it. The bed was incredibly comfortable. WiFi signal was great both in my room and in the art studio. My favorite unexpected touch was the white noise machines that I think they have in every room. I didn’t find that anything was particularly noisy when I went to bed, but still appreciated it because I always sleep with one on at home and had forgotten to bring it. Can’t wait for my next stay!

  • Welcoming space. Welcoming hosts. Check out the cool little coffee shop a block away, while you’re there.

  • Tomorrow River Homestead is in a lovely village setting. It is not that easy to find by Rue and Zay provided excellent instructions on how to find it. Even though I arrived when it was fully dark their diagram and photos did the trick. Then I had a lovely and restful stay in a super quiet, spacious, and homey place.

  • Great place to stay, especially if you’ll be here for a while. An easy 20 minute drive from Stevens Point and no trouble finding the location. It’s as cute as the pictures make it look and as impeccably clean as the pictures look too even with several guests using the communal areas. I never had to wait for the bathroom and guests mostly kept to themselves but were also happy to chat if you wanted. Definitely say hi to the chickens and make use of the hammock if you can! Rue & Zay were both super nice and very quick to respond. I highly recommend and will stay again if I’m ever in the area.
