The accommodation is situated in a beautiful garden, very quiet and peaceful, ideal for a getaway from the city. Near the accommodation you will find a small garden for your own use with a table and chairs under the apple tree, where you can sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. There is also a beauty spa open all week called Lifestyle Health and Beauty which has all the latest treatments. We would like to encourage people who are working in the area to take our accommodation as it's near Cheltenham, Swindon, Bath and not far from Bristol.
Hankerton is a small Cotswold village between Malmesbury and Tetbury. Swindon Bath and Cheltenham are near. Nearby Malmesbury is an historic town with a wonderful Abbey that you might wish to visit. You may also like to see the gardens tended by the celebrated naked gardeners next door! A little further, Tetbury has some wonderful antique shops and delicatessens to browse and the famous Highgrove Shop, which is well worth a visit. Within ten miles is the market town of Cirencester, which is at the heart of the Cotswolds and there are many shops and an interesting Roman museum. For water sports, one can enjoy an abundance of activities such as sailing, jet ski, kite surfing and fishing around the many lakes of the Cotswold Water Parks, a few miles away.
  • Sweet little cottage in the countryside. Rowena is a great hostess -- quick to reply to any messages and full of advice and suggestions for things to do. There are good pubs within walking distance. Having a car is definitely a plus if you want to do much exploring in the area beyond the immediate fields, though, we managed without one. While most of our walks were cut short by flooded fields, it was nice to explore the area and great to come back to the cottage to warm up with tea, brownies, and a good foot soak.

  • Great place to stay ☺️

    Anthony2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • A delightful visit! The cottage was well appointed and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Rowena was a very pleasant and helpful host. The local area is quiet and beautiful but not too far away from amenities. This was a perfect, quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay and is highly recommended for those wanting a ‘getaway’ from the big cities.

    Ian2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was a lovely couple of nights stay that we had at Rowena’s place. The cottage was lovely and very cosy. Everyone on the estate was very friendly and we couldn’t ask for a better time!

  • Lovely place to retreat to. Friendly welcome and beautiful space.

    Sarah2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We can highly recommend this place. Everything was perfect. We stayed there in December : The property was lovely and warm and I loved the fact that there was a bath with plenty of hot water: Great for after going on a hike across the fields. The homemade brownies were scrummy. The lodge is sparkling clean. As I have said, just perfect.

*** In light of the current situation, we have come to the decision to cancel all short term bookings within the next 12 weeks (until the end of June 2020). We have carefully considered the information and advice that we have been provided with by the government and feel that this is in the best interest of our guests, family and wider community. We are a business that welcomes people from across the country and we feel that we have a responsibility to minimise this for the time being. As a small business, this isn’t a decision that we have made lightly and we are continuing to think of ways that we can keep the business up and running, whilst also minimising any risks to our guests and family at Collins Farm. Going forward, in order to reduce footfall, we will only be accepting bookings that exceed a 14 day period and will be introducing a minimum 72 hour gap between bookings in order to carry out a thorough deep clean of the entire property. Guests will be able to check in to The Dovecote without any contact with ourselves, although we are always at the end of the phone should you need us. We apologise for any inconvenience that this causes*** Look out onto open fields from the main bedroom, while French doors lead to a private patio. This detached converted dovecote features vaulted ceilings and original walls of pale local stone, with an electric wood burner and Smart TV for cosy evenings in.
The beautiful city of Bath with its 18th century Georgian architecture, original Roman baths and impressive abbey is just 8 miles away. A nearby park and ride service into the town centre operates every 15 minutes. The vibrant city of Bristol, famous for its maritime history and wealth of designer shops, bars and restaurants is also close by - approximately 11 miles from Abson. Other points of interest within an hour’s drive include Glastonbury, Wells, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park. Local shops, pubs and dining can be found in the neighbouring villages of Wick and Pucklechurch - each less than 1½ miles away. Shops and pubs 1½ miles. 4 steps to entrance. Ground Floor: Open plan living space: With French doors leading to patio. Living area: With electric wood burner and Smart TV. Dining area. Kitchen area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. First Floor: Bedroom 1: With double bed, vaulted ceiling, beams and en-suite with bath and toilet. Paddle stairs to... Bedroom 2: Galleried with single bed and sloping ceiling. This is on a mezzanine level and looks down on to the double bed. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed patio with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.

  • Really lovely place. Will stay again!

  • The Dovecote is a fantastic place for any stay, had everything that we needed. It is close to Bath to enjoy the history and attractions but also secluded and peaceful enough to relax in the evening. Sophia was extremely helpful and could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend stay at the Dovecote if you are visiting Bath or just looking for a relaxing peaceful weekend.

A cottage style end of terrace property, a little out of the city but with good bus routes - travel time 30-45 minutes to city centre - the area is semi-rural NB: Current restrictions mean I can welcome guests only to provide accommodation for any person who: is unable to return to their main residence; uses my home as their main residence; needs accommodation whilst moving home or attending a funeral - anyone making an enquiry will need to confirm they meet one of the above criteria
The property benefits from being only 6 miles to the city centre whilst also being in a semi-rural location There is a second room that can also be rented (as a separate booking) enabling a group of up to 5 people to stay
Hambrook is a small series of hamlets just outside the city The area benefits from being only 6 miles from the city centre but at the same time giving you a feel of the countryside There are a number of supermarkets around 5-10 mins away by car If you are walking the closest shop is 10-15 mins almost opposite Beckspool Road bus stop (road is signposted golf club)

  • "Compact" but I had everything I wanted. The weather was very wet (not my host's fault), so I really appreciated having a clean, warm and dry base. Thanks.

  • Such a treat! A great place to get a peaceful rest and break from city life. Had everything I needed in the room, just needed myself and food to complete my perfect stay. It is very remote which is exactly what I was looking for but would suggest planning your travel very carefully if you aren’t.

  • Amazing little cabin, had such a great weekend away.

    Steph2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cute private little cabin. Got quite cold at nights (February) but I brought a blanket and fluffy pyjamas so was alright! Overall everything was pleasant and well presented, a nice little shed with everything you need for a trip away.

  • Clint's place was a lovely hideaway in the midst of the beautiful Cotswolds. It was clean and cosy with all the necessary amenities for two. It was lovely.

    Rehnuma2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Up there with my favourite ever air b&b stays!! The cabin is lovely and Clint was the perfect host I highly recommend

    Mark2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying at this cute cabin! Bit adventurous in winter perhaps, but the electric fire provided warmed the room up very quickly. The countryside location, garden outlook. easy parking and privacy (no overlooking properties) all contributed to a great stay. Nice pub on your doorstep too and local people very friendly and welcoming. For an alternative, comfortable Airbnb stay in a typical English village, I happily recommend you stay here. (Perhaps a quick mention that the bathroom isn't heated and the entrance is external to the bedroom so you need to step out a few steps to the side across the decking to access)

    Monique2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking to explore the village or Bath in general or for a quiet private getaway from the city crowd or just a lovey stay for 2, this is the perfect place with all you need in one little hut!! highly recommend !

Oat Cottage is part of a beautifully converted cluster of farm buildings, which were once part of a Granary. Situated in the peaceful rural village of Cromhall, it is perfect for business trips, or short breaks away visiting the local area, walking or shopping. Light, open and airy with exposed beams, the Cottage is comfortable and relaxing. It is fully appointed, inclusive of bedding, towels etc. There is also a separate laundry room with washing machine, ironing facilities and utility sink.
PLEASE READ ‘Other things to note’ IF YOU PLAN TO BRING A DOG - thanks. A cleverly designed studio style space which has been converted to an exceptional standard from traditional farm buildings, dating back over 120 years. There is a lounge/bedroom/kitchenette area, complete with comfy double bed, storage cupboards/drawers, desk, sofa, table, TV, WiFi access, fridge, combination microwave oven, toaster, kettle and all utensils, and a spacious separate bathroom with shower. The Cottage is double glazed throughout, and is centrally heated. Our communal Laundry Room with washing machine, complementary detergent and drying racks, provide all the facilities you will need for your stay. Being single storey, the Cottage is easily accessible, with off road parking immediately adjacent. There is also a charming shared garden, with seating, available for use - a lovely place to sit with a glass of something in the evening and watch the sunset.
We are situated on Cowship Lane which runs from Cromhall to Wickwar, where you will find the local brewery! The Cottage is only a short distance from the historic towns of Wotton-Under-Edge and Thornbury (home of the famous Tudor Castle). Slimbridge Wildfowl Centre, Berkeley Castle, Cattle Country, Old Down Country Park and Wild Place are all within easy reach. We are well-placed for Westonbirt Arboretum, Highgrove House, several National Trust Attractions, Badminton/Gatcombe Horse trials, and various Country Shows. There are many beautiful walks on our doorstep, and we are on the edge of the picturesque Cotswolds. The large shopping mall at Cribbs Causeway is about 15 minutes by car, and it is a short journey to Bristol, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

  • Convenient & comfortable base at the foot of the Cotswolds

    Geoff2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Spotlessly clean. Great location for Bristol, etc. Quiet. Warm. Host very helpful and easy to contact if needed. Highly recommended.

    David2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Sussanah is a wonderful host and a really lovely person too. The cottages are immaculately clean and tidy. The little touches were most welcome, tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries and washing up liquid. Check in was easy and although the host was always available, we didn't feel like we were being watched. Bed and sofa are most comfortable and the shower is great. There are some great walks close by, although we were there during storm Dennis. Despite the storm the cottage was warm and dry. It's obvious Sussanah works terribly hard to maintain her standards. Will visit again.

  • Comfortable, clean and very well equipped! Highly recommended if you want a self contained place to yourself in Bristol. Communication was very quick and Maria accommodated my requests happily!

  • Maria was such a great host and responded very quickly when I had a few things I needed help with. I was anxious about staying somewhere on my own for the first time however Maria made me feel at ease and I had a wonderful stay. As a student Paramedic on shift this was a perfect place for me to stay when starting and finishing at all hours, meaning I didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

    Elin2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little place with everything you need! Quick responses from Maria and in an ideal location. Would highly recommend for a visit to Bristol :)

    Megan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend. Great location, was so easy to get into the city centre in about 15 mins. Lots of free parking available. The place itself is gorgeous and cosy. Super clean, very warm (thanks to the dyson fan) and the smart TV with sky/netflix is a really nice touch. A fully kitted out kitchen (including some very yummy bread and wine) meant we didn’t have to bring anything ourselves which was very useful. Maria wasn’t there herself but she was extremely quick with responses. I unfortunately broke a wine glass by accident and she was so so lovely about it. Will definitely be back!

Welcome to our cosy cottage in the Cotswolds. The cottage was built in the 1820’s so its traditional and full of character with all the modern amenities. It has 2 bedrooms, a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, power shower, central heating and a traditional open fire. The cottage is situated 10 metres from the local pub and local shop. There is a private front garden to enjoy with a BBQ. Location wise it is a 35 minute drive into Bath & Bristol. Castle Coombe is a 15 minute drive.
Luckington is a village and civil parish in the southern Cotswolds, in north-west Wiltshire, England, about 6 1⁄2 miles (10 km) west of Malmesbury. The village is on the B4040 road linking Malmesbury and Old Sodbury. The parish is on the county border with Gloucestershire and includes the village of Alderton and the hamlet of Brook End. The Cotswolds are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which means it is recognised as containing some of Britain's finest countryside. As such it is protected as a special landscape of national importance. The area covers 790 square miles, of which some 80% is farmland. The region is delineated by the belt of rich limestone – the source of building materials for cottages, fine buildings and churches. The limestone Cotswold stone in the northern Cotswolds is a rich honey coloured brown which gradually grades creamier towards the south at Luckington. Badminton House is just across the county border, about 1 3⁄4 miles (2.8 km) southwest of Luckington village. Parkland of the Badminton estate extends a short distance into Luckington parish
make sure you check out the pub! great food and drink! you can also get your food to go!
  • We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely look to return. Easy check in process and the location is ideal. The cottage is seconds away from the local pub just across the road and on the first night after arriving we ate there. It was easy to park near the Airbnb and to drive to nearby areas such as Castle Combe and Cirencester for days out. Also easy to get to the arboretum at Westonbirt . There are lots of local walks in the area (bring adequate walking shoes or wellies in the wetter months!). There were tea and coffee facilities in the cottage and the central heating was easy to control. There is also a stunning fireplace and great to use on a stormy night. The kitchen was well equipped and included a dishwasher, oven and microwave. Tip if you’re over 6ft tall - watch your head as you go from the living room into the hallway! Thank you for a great stay :)

  • Clint's cottage was a perfect escapade from the city. It had everything you could want - fully equipped kitchen, fireplace which made staying in on the evenings perfect and the place itself was very stylish and comfortable. The cottage itself was in a cute little village, close to a pub so if you wanted to grab a drink in the evening without driving anywhere (less than a minute walk away), it was perfect. It was conveniently located near countryside walks and Castle Combe (about 15 minute drive away). We couldn't find a shop nearby but that wasn't a problem as we brought everything with us that we needed. Clint was very kind and hospitable, flexible and responded very quickly to all messages. Thank you so much for everything!

It feels homely and cosy as soon as you arrive. Fantastic facilities to cook and enjoy meals with plenty of cutlery and silverware provided. Beautiful character farm house Annex, built circa 1820. Recently renovated to a very high standard. Stone floors and reclaimed elm floorboards. Well appointed modern kitchen. Jacuzzi bath for that added luxury. Includes wood burner with logs (FOC). Own private garden. Ample parking. Rural setting with beautiful countryside walks. Excellent country pub within walking distance. Location 5 minutes from junction 18. Great access to Bath, Bristol and Cotswolds. 1 hour 30 minutes to London.
Steep stairs to bedroom and bathroom. Under floor heating in stone floors. Sattelite TV. Tea, coffee and bread and butter will be provided. Kitchen includes dishwasher (tablets provides FOC), fan oven and hob. Cooking equipment all provided. All bed linen and towels provided and can be changed during a longer stay (+5 days) on request. We have a resident dog and 2 cats. They have no direct access into the Annex. We are happy to accept well behaved dogs who will be friendly to our animals and we would expect that guests will pick up after their own.
Country Pub in the village of Burton less than 1 mile walk and many others within 2 miles. We often have horses in the surrounding fields and we are surrounded by beautiful fields.
  • Ainslie’s annex was an absolute joy to stay in, she provided homely features, such as a smart TV with access to Sky movies and Netflix. As a host, she was extremely flexible and quickly responded to any questions. Being allowed to bring our dog made the stay even more enjoyable, with fabulous local walks and places to enjoy. The annex features an absolutely lovely sofa in front of the TV and fireplace which really tied the whole farm/country side atmosphere together. When we arrived the firewood had been stacked up ready to go, and every night we had the fire roaring away keeping us warm. The kitchen was fully kitted out with a full oven, functional work top and dish washer. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space in both large shelving and chest of drawers. Leading on from the bedroom was the finely furnished bathroom with a luxurious bath with built in jacuzzi feature meaning we could end each day of walking with a relaxing soak. One small thing that we did miss during our stay was the lack of full standing shower, this didn’t ruin our stay by any means, but was certainly missed in the mornings when we wanted a quick shower before starting our day, this was mitigated by the lovely aforementioned bath that did include a built in shower head, but no means to mount it to shower standing up. Finally, as people who were maybe somewhat dubious about staying in an annex with the fear of overbearing hosts, we can say that Ainslie gave us the space and privacy that we needed, but at the same time was quick to respond to messages and in general was there when we needed her. Overall, Nettleton was a quaint village with great footpaths and beautiful views, the perfect getaway for those who want to get away from the city. However there aren’t any shops immediately close by, so just be aware that you may need to travel a small ways to get food and other bits and pieces. The annex was a perfect little home away from home, great for a weekend away or a longer stay. Thanks Ainslie!

    Harriet2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend this quaint, comfy cottage. Ainslie is a fabulous host & we will definitely be back again for the Christmas Markets in bath.

    Angela2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely place. Close to Bristol and Bath, but far enough away to escape the rush (particularly during the Christmas market!) Really loved the building modern but warm and cosy as well, particularly the fireplace and bath. It is very comfortable and clean but it is the little touches like the milk, jam and bread that made it feel so amazing to stay at. I can't recommended enough and would absolutely stay at again!

    Vicky2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent cosy little cottage, perfect for a weekend away.

    Calum2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Ainslie’s place is perfect! The annexe was wonderfully cosy, and the kitchen is really well-stocked with equipment. Ainslie was really helpful advising places we could go to, and also left birthday chocolates which was really sweet. The area itself is perfect- really great views of the countryside and lovey walks! Definitely would go back again

    Sanah2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great location near to Bath,Bristol and wonderful countryside with plenty of places to visit and explore. Anislie & Ben are great hosts and live in the main house adjoining. The Annex is spacious, beautifully clean and comfortably finished with well fitted kitchen with dining and comfortable lounge area with a lovely spacious bathroom and bedroom on first floor. Parking right outside Annex Should be noted that stairs to the bedroom and bathroom are steep

    Keith2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Ainslie was very welcoming, super quick to respond and the annexe was well designed. We appreciated the welcome ingredients of bread, butter, milk and jam. Oil and condiments supplied too. The property is well insulated so cosy but logs were available for the stove. Well placed for accessing Bath, Bradford on Avon, Castle Coombe. Great pubs locally with very reasonably priced food. Get yourself an ordnance survey map to orientate yourself.

    Joyce2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in Ainslies annex was exactly what I had been looking for: a quiet place all to my own, in the midst of a gorgeous landscape, however still close to everything one might need (cities Bath and Bristol, supermarkets, etc.) The fireplace was my best friend and the bath tub was just luxurious. I will most definitely try and come back again :)

  • Lynn is a lovely Lady who is warm and welcoming and really goes out of her way to ensure that her guests have a very pleasant stay. She sent me details of how to get to her apartment from Bristol airport which saved me a lot stress and worry. Her ground floor home is only minutes walk from Yate bus station which makes it so handy for public transport. The airport flyer stops right outside the airport door and takes you straight to Bristol bus station where another bus will then take you straight to Yate bus station. I had great weekend and will be staying with her again the next time I travel to the Bristol area.

The Little Barn is a beautifully, sympathetically and stylishly renovated two bedroom cottage within the grounds of a former farm that was once owned by the local Monastery. The cottage itself is spacious and fully equipped with everything guests should need for a truly comfortable and restful stay. In this era of sustainable living, The Little Barn benefits from solar panel energy, a Tesla battery for energy storage and use, recycling facilities and energy efficient appliances and lighting.
The cottage is warm, cosy and inviting boasting a fully furnished kitchen complete with all mod cons including a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Basic condiments (salt, pepper, oil), tea, coffee, sugar, a cafetiere, washing up liquid, tea towels, tin foil, cling film, sponges, dishwasher tablets, laundry materials and bin bags come as standard as does a lovely welcome pack comprising local produce and fridge essentials. Beyond the kitchen and the other side of a lovingly restored archway, is the lounge where guests will find a Smart TV (including Netflix, Prime Video & Freeview Play), an Amazon Echo Dot, a comfortable corner settee that doubles as a bed, an extendable dining table and French doors that open onto a quiet outdoor space. For younger guests, there are books, toys and games. For older guests, there is a chess set and playing cards. Upstairs, there is a tastefully refurbished bathroom, a gorgeous master bedroom with king sized bed and plenty of storage, plus an attractive twin room. Both bedrooms have space for a travel cot if required (available upon request) and both overlook the surrounding fields that stretch to the Cotswolds and beyond. Towels and bed linen are provided including bedding for the downstairs sofa bed and travel cot as appropriate. Wifi is available throughout the property free of charge. Heating and hot water are included in the fee.
The Little Barn is situated at the end of a quiet farm lane and is a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. There is no through access hence it is utterly tranquil and a haven for those seeking beautiful countryside and an escape from the normal stresses of daily life. The surrounding fields are a paradise for walkers and the local village of Kingswood is just a short drive away. It can also be reached on foot if the mood takes you. Within Kingswood, there is a handy and friendly Spar which doubles as a Post Office / cash point. Guests will also find a delightful Public House that serves good tasty food, a gym with 'pay as you go' classes, a park and play area, the local church and the remains of the Abbey. There is ample parking at the park with further parking in and around the village. The friendly market town of Wotton-under-Edge is a further mile away by car and here guests will discover several eateries, a butcher, a couple of bakeries, several barbers and hairdressers, two grocery stores, two medical centres, two dentists and an array of local craft, produce, antique and gift shops. There is also a traditional cinema, a Tourist Information Office, free parking, an art centre and an open air pool (open during the warmer months). The pool has recently been extensively refurbished and is a real oasis on hot summer days. The beautiful town of Chipping Sodbury is just a short distance away and the cities of Bristol (30 mins), Bath (35 mins) and Gloucester (40 mins) are all within easy reach. All three cities abound with history, activities, shopping and wonderful sightseeing walks and tours. A particularly lovely way of taking in Bristol is via 'cycle the city', guided or self guided. Just ask Annie and Simon for details if interested. Again only a short drive away and guests will reach the stunning Cotswolds where places like Tetbury, Westonbirt, Uley, Cirencester and Malmesbury are well worth a visit. These beautiful artsy towns and the surrounding villages teem with history and are stuffed to the brim with cafes, antique palaces and boutiques. The Little Barn is a handy gateway to this beautiful part of England. With the 102 mile Cotswold Way on the cottage's doorstep, guests can sample breathtaking views, dramatic gorges, rolling hills, forests and every kind of landscape a person could wish for, not forgetting the abundance of numerous castles, historic houses, country parks, museums and art galleries. The delights of the area are arguably some of the best in the UK and Annie and Simon can offer more details upon request.
  • Annie and Simon’s place is perfect for a couple or family who want to get away from it all, but be within easy reach of plenty of amenities, activities and beautiful countryside. With the lockbox, checking in was easy and Annie was so thoughtful in leaving some tasty welcome gifts. We were also greeted by a very friendly cat! Annie was very flexible with our check in and out times, which we really appreciated, and her communication was excellent - although we never saw her, she kept in touch before and throughout our stay and we felt she was always on hand to help if we needed it or had any questions. The cottage has everything you need, however long you are staying. It’s a really homely place, which has been beautifully renovated and furnished. The lounge area is very cosy, with a nice view of the garden and fields, and it was great to have Netflix and Amazon music for entertainment. We cooked a couple of meals whilst we were there and found that the kitchen is well equipped for cooking from scratch. We only stayed 2 nights, but would love to return some time for another stay to explore more of the area.

    Susannah2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A beautifully decorated, carefully cared for property, tucked away in the countryside but close enough to the main roads that travel is easy. Annie made sure we wanted for nothing. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable - we would definitely stay here again.

  • Gorgeous, freshly presented and comfortable property. We had a great night’s sleep and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Loved that the owners were clearly available if we had had any needs while we were there, but gave us all the privacy desired. Described as a gem & matches description. Welcome pack was a delightful addition. Already recommended to family for if they are staying in the area and will happily return. Many thanks!

Our lovely cottage is in the centre of the rural historic town of Dursley. The Cotswold Way passes through making it the ideal rest-stop. Dursley is also ideally located for commuting to Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol and Stroud. Our guest room is a cosy double bedroom within our two-bedroomed house, with views over the garden and the chickens - which give fresh eggs daily! We are LGBT friendly.
The double bedroom is small but warm and cosy. Guests are welcome to make use of the bathroom, kitchen and living room, which is prefect to unwind in after a busy day!
We love living in Dursley! The cottage is in the centre of the town although feels like it's in the middle of the countryside! There are great independent restaurants, shops and plenty of walks to keep you busy. Dursley sits within easy reach of Gloucester, Bristol, Stroud and the charming Cotswolds which makes it the ideal place to stay.

  • Stuart's place is a hidden gem - if you want to visit Dursley and be within walking distance of the town centre you could not do better. They have managed to make their tiny cottage accommodate a guest and provide all the usual BnB amenities like a Tardis. All communication was very prompt and comprehensively explained how to get there, park and what to expect. I would not hesitate to return again if I need to stay in the area.

  • Lovely stay with Stuart & Ashley. Really kind, friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and the shower was amazing! Thank you.

  • In a great position right in the centre but still very quiet. Stuart is very welcoming and provide a good breakfast including super fresh eggs! Brilliant value. Only one thing worth mentioning. If you're very short, you may have trouble reaching the box where the key is kept. My wife (height 5ft 1in), for example, couldn't reach it.

Light airy outside room in the garden with a separate entrance. The room has double bed, with a separate shower and toilet. Available for the guests is a microwave, small fridge and kettle with an assortment of tea and coffee. Cereal and fruit are available in the room for breakfast. Home cooked vegetarian breakfast (£4.00) can be ordered. Off road parking is available and access provided via a side gate to the room. WiFi is available and there is a TV in the room.
This is a room that is separate from the house and you have your own side entrance to the room. There is a small patio out the back of the room and with fields and woodlands nearby, we are within walking distance from good woodland walks. Dursley is one of the routes on the famous Cotswold Way walk, which is one of England's finest National trails. Cam and Dursley train station has hourly trains to Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Dursley has two Indian restaurants that are eat in or takeaway, a couple of Chinese takeaways and an Italian restaurant. Good local pubs and 15 minutes away the Electric Picture House in Wotton-Under-Edge. Stroud is a popular market town 15 minutes drive from Dursley where interesting and quirky events are hosted throughout the year.
The room is detached from the house which is a 1940's semi-detached property on an older estate situated between a red brick school and park. The back of the property borders fields with an outlook onto the woodlands. These woods have many walks and run for miles around Dursley and along to the next village.
  • A great value for money accommodation that is a short walk into Dursley. Margi made the process easy and straightforward. We will definitely use her again in the future.

    Helen2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • How understated, described correctly as a room in the garden, however it felt much more than that. Very comfortable bed, nice thick towels, warm (I actually turned the heating off in February) and cosy. Shower room was spacious and spotless and although no kitchen as such, with a fridge, microwave and kettle you don’t really need much else. I would recommend and I will be back!

  • Great stay. Everything went smoothly.

    Alex2020-02-08T00:00:00Z

This stunning one bed apartment sits in a traditional Cotswolds threshing barn. A beautiful combination of contemporary and original features which work together to create a luxury self catering space. Woodcock Farm has 36 acres on the Cotswold Way with sheep, pigs, horses, chickens and ducks. The farm sits on an Iron Age hill fort that was subsequently occupied by the Romans and Anglo Saxons; so history is literally on the doorstep! Located between Bath and Bristol just 5 mins from J18 of M4.
The Hall is an impressive and dramatic space, decorated and furnished to the highest standards to create a calm and spacious luxury space. The comfortable seating area offers a large leather sofa (sofabed) and two large armchairs around an impressive stone fireplace with woodburning stove. The 'smart' TV offers Freeview and internet access, so you can log-on to your own Netflix or streaming channels. The contemporary kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge with freezer space, Nespresso coffee machine, with a excellent range of cooking equipment. This combines with the country feel of the pine dresser and stonework in the walls. The bedroom with its lofty ceiling sits on the mezzanine level with a secluded landing, perfect for escaping to read, sit and relax. The king-size sleigh bed has a top quality memory foam mattress, with Egyptian cotton bed linens, and a natural all wool duvet you are certain to have a great night's sleep. The decor combines traditional dark wood furniture with a 'french baroque' feel and the high ceilings and beautiful curtains add to the theatre of the room. The shower room has large shower space with a 'rain' and handheld shower heads. We provide Freeview TV and free wifi, (but please remember we are in the country so the speeds may not be as you are used to!). Woodcock Farm is a beautiful cotswold barn conversion, set in 36 acres of rolling countryside and woodland. You are free to walk and explore the land and farm and we'd be happy to introduce you to the animals who live here. Locally there is a wide selection of beautiful villages and towns which offer interesting independent shops, National Trust properties, great pubs and restaurants and wonderful walking. There are plenty of places of interest for all the family to visit within an easy drive - Bristol Zoo, Cotswold Water Park, Adam Henson's (BBC Countryfile presenter) farm, Longleat, Bath Roman Baths, Malmesbury Abbey and Westonbirt Arboretum to name a few. We'd be happy to help you with ideas for days out. The Farm sits on an old Anglo-Saxon Hill Fort which was also used by the Romans. The Cotswold Way crosses the land and there are many really scenic walks all around. We can lend you maps and recommend pubs and stops along the way. There is an extensive array of wildlife on the farm including hares, deer, badgers, hedgehogs, skylarks, wrens, and red kites.
The Cotswolds in one of the most beautiful parts of SW England, but close at hand if you want great shops, restaurants and nightlife are Bath and Bristol. Our local town - Chipping Sodbury - boasts its own bakers (Hobbs House Bakery - The Fabulous Baker Boys), Waitrose, local butchers and greengrocers as well as a great Deli/coffee shop called Hamptons, which serve a great brunch! There is a cinema and sports centre with a indoor pool in Yate, which is 15 mins away, and Yate also offers a train service to Bristol Parkway. The free Park and Ride service into Bath is around 15 mins drive located at the top of Lansdown, near the Racecourse. There are a host of places to visit close at hand; Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury and Cirencester, Malmsbury Abbey, Berkeley Castle, Bristol Zoo and Aquarium, @Bristol to name a few. The Cotswolds Way cuts through the farm and there a many local footpaths and walks which take you through some of the beautiful local countryside.
  • We couldn’t have asked for more during our stay it was lovely and cosy. We had absolutely everything we need. A great get away. It was beyond our expectations. Looking forward to coming back in the new year :) Thank you Caroline!

  • The cottage is a beautifully renovated, peaceful place to explore the local area. I was there with 2 young children who were very comfortable on the sofa bed and we enjoyed exploring the area around Bath and Castle Combe. Definitely recommend adding on the local breakfast basket!

  • Beautiful comfortable place to stay. We loved hearing the farm animals close by. Very convenient for exploring the area although a car is needed. Lovely walks from the property.

    Dave2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Hall at Woodcock Farm is everything you could possibly want in a holiday let. It's in a quiet location but close to many places to visit. We were spoilt for choice. Caroline and Jason are great hosts and made everything work smoothly, from our first contact to our late arrival after a long and busy journey on a Bank Holiday Friday night. We could not have asked for more and the small touches of milk in the fridge and the essential staples in the kitchen were much appreciated. We will certainly be making a return visit.

    Helen2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice accommodation in a beautiful area and very friendly hosts. I would like to book again anytime.

    Astrid2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great, romantic 3 day break over Easter. Caroline had put milk in the fridge and there was essential cooking ingredients which came in handy. The space is great for a couple. We are outside on a table and chairs in the garden which was private (possibly the next door rental could have been sat outside near us had they been inclined) . We had private parking in front which is so convenient. This was the cleanest rental we have stayed at. The location was ideal. Caroline had given us a local taxi number and we got into Bath for 30pounds. There is a park and ride option at Lansdown (15 mins away) but we were having a proper meal with wine so this felt reasonable given the circumstances. We visited Dyrham Park and did a circular walk starting at Uley (20 mins away). Could have done an extra day or two easily.

  • It's always a risk staying somewhere that is new to Airbnb but there was no need to worry. My host went out of her way to make sure I was settled in and had everything I needed. This is a cute garden cabin that has been contemporary-styled with all the amenities you'd need and more. The location is first class - if you are looking to access all the main routes in and around Bristol this fits the bill perfectly. The cabin suits short stays and despite it not having a kitchen there are amenities in there such as a kettle and toaster, mini fridge etc. Having cereal and fresh milk was a lovely touch and most welcome. The host has added lots of extra amenities to make your stay as comfy as possible and I have to say I slept really really well. I would have no hesitation in returning. Make sure you read the listing - this is a stylish garden cabin, perfect for short stays - what more could you want! Thank you.

Within the farmland is an Iron Age hill fort that was subsequently occupied by the Romans and Anglo Saxons; so history is literally on the doorstep! Nearby is Bath, Bristol, Tetbury, Westonbirt, Chipping Sodbury & Cirencester. Located just 5 mins from J18 of M4, we are set in quiet, rolling countryside. A recent refurbishment means you can now enjoy luxury accommodation with every home comfort.
Woodcock Farm is a beautiful cotswold barn conversion, set in 36 acres of rolling countryside and woodland. You are free to walk and explore the land and farm and we'd be happy to introduce you to the animals who live here. The flat has recently undergone a full renovation and how offers a super fully fitted kitchen which includes a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso, fridge with freezer compartment and all cooking equipment. The bathroom too has been refitted with a bath and excellent overhead shower. We provide Freeview TV and free wifi, (but please remember we are in the country so the speeds may not be as you are used to!). Locally we have a wide selection of beautiful villages and towns which offer interesting independent shops, National Trust properties, great pubs and restaurants and wonderful walking.

  • This was our second time staying at Woodcock Farm. It's great! Brilliant location just off the M4 to visit Bristol, Bath and other local towns. We have a young family and there was plenty to do on rainy days. Plus, we had a fun walk to the nearby fort and then onto the Crosshands pub!

  • Caroline and Jason’s farm is absolutely stunning! We spent 3 nights here, exploring Bath and the Cotswolds. We ordered a lovely breakfast hamper from Caroline filled with local foods! Jason took us on a tour and showed us their animals on their farm. This was a fantastic getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would certainly return if in the area. Thank you!!

Tetbury has won numerous awards, earning the accolade "Heart of England in Bloom" and "Best Small Town." It was founded as an ancient hill fort, and on the same site was later built a Saxon monastery in 681, most likely by Ine of Wessex. Being in the Cotswolds, a number of lovely and popular walks are available to you, as well as the myriad of cute and iconic villages.
  • Took a 2 night stay here by myself to get out of London for a bit. I cycled from Kemble station to Gumstool Hill and it is just as cute as described/photographed. Perfect location in Tetbury and lots of lovely places to explore. Small but perfectly contained and everything I needed. Yoann responded to messages so quickly and was very helpful. Would definitely go back!
