The house was very clean, also the terrace and garden. it's a nice and quiet neighbourhood, with calm neighbours. The conciërge was very very helpful, and did the cleaning and our laundry for a small extra price. any question i asked, he helped. He fixed any small problem immediately, he even came in to kill that 1 cockroach that crept in... The rain sounds very loud on the roof, but that's seriously the only issue that occurred.

Beautiful Lakeside cottage with large yard

This slice of paradise is such a good place to get away for a few days. The garden is stunning and so relaxing, chickens roaming around, lots of birds to spot, as it's right at the waterfront of lake Muhazi. In the evening, sit on the veranda with a fire and wake up early for a refreshing swim. You can easily cook for yourself with all pots, pans and cutlery that is available, but if you want there's a couple of restaurants in the area as well that you can check out.. Did I already mention how beautiful the garden is? :-) I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back here. Thank you Dominik and Naomie!

Luxurious Villa with Pool

Beautiful house, garden and such lovely staff. Our baby loved the pool. It has a handy shallow ledge for little ones to sit on and play in the water (or for adults to perch and enjoy a drink!). Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. We had a problem with the electrics throughout the weekend, but the host was super responsive and got someone over within the hour to fix.

Eagle's Nest on Lake Kivu

Eagle's nest is the place to be. We loved our stay there; the view was fantastic. The cottage is not far from the lake and restaurants are within a walking distance as well. It is a clean, comfortable and peaceful place and Brigitte is a wonderful host. She made sure we had all that we needed. Thank you Brigitte for the love.

The Little Lake House

Le petit maison du lac was everything I was hopping for and more. Being a nature lover, it's a beautiful place away from everything. It's very quite and relaxing, and the views are incredible. I especially like the nighttime views of the stars sitting by the fire next to the lake. I went with my family and friends and we had an incredible time. Weather you're looking for a quite time with your family or a "gathering" with your friends this is the place. The host Clarise was the best. She reached out to us immediately and gave us all the tips to make our time even better. We purchased a whole goat for a great price and her guy made us several great meals out of it for us, including "agatogo" in the morning which instantly kills the hangover :) Anyways I can go on and on, but simply put this is a great place and I highly recommend it. I'll be going back again and again

I needed a break after a busy week in Kigali and I was pleased to find this amazing home. The team who works at the place were friendly and accommodating. They listened to feedback and so did the guest. The place is 15 Km after Kayonza towards Gatsibo. Not quite at the lake but the view of the lake give min away is great. The food from the Resto was equally great. The place is advertised as entire but at some points the team may need access. I requested the host to make that very clear in their description for guests who may want complete privacy. I would certainly book again as I felt refreshed here.

We love this rustic cottage and having access to the private beach! Plus there are a few great beachside bar / restaurants within walking distance. The property staff are very friendly and helpful; they even started a fire for us on a cold night. Only tip for other guests is to bring cooking supplies (oil, salt, coffee, etc.) and toilet paper as well as bath towels, since these weren’t supplied and shops aren’t close by. 10/10 recommend. Already looking forward to the next chance to visit!

Wonderful stay in this house surrounded by people from another planet: welcoming, smiling, helpful, great animators and cooks! There's nothing you need to stay in this house. The villa is under renovation, an important face wash for an old house, but well located, protected and cozy. At night you can enjoy magical conversations around the fire and share moments with the hosts. It was great! I would recommend this house to anyone looking to feel at home in the other part of the world. Pura Vida! Hugs guys, you're the best! We miss you guys, already! Tukopamoja! Raisa,Matt,Nassan and Azali!
