Under the Oak Glamping, Y Ddraenen Wen

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We wanted a peaceful place to rest after a busy day with the kids, somewhere we could feel like we were on our own. This was perfect a fantastic safari style lodge with everything we needed, a beautiful lake with many different birds and other wildlife, and all in a short drive of bike park wales and Pen-y-fan. The hosts were great they never bothered us! But they were always just a phone call away. Can’t wait to return for next trip.

266 Cottage, 4* LOGFIRE, HOTTUB, B'Q,PLAYGD,LOCKUP

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

What a lovely little country retreat, peaceful and restful yet with plenty to do on your doorstep. The walk to the country pub, through the village was a highlight. The kids loved the horses, rope swing and of course jacuzzi. We will definitely stay again.

Brian very responsive to messages. Allowed us to check in as soon as the house was ready as we arrived in Merthyr earlier than planned. The house was very roomy for our family with 4 adults and 5 children. Great location to get into town and we had a lovely walk on the bridle path nearby with the 4 year olds. Would stay again if we return to Merthyr.

Self/Cont 5* Studio Flat + extra bath & bedroom

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

The views the house are awesome. Views over the reservoir and the hills and the mountains in the distance. There is a real feeling of isolation with the properties location which is ideal for that getaway away from town or cities. Lots of land to go for walks around the property , which we explored lots of with our dog and kids. This place is definitely on our list ones to come back to.

Modern spacious townhouse

ClareRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Needed a place to stay for our group of friends to watch the rugby, Danny's place was just what we needed, room for us all, & within walking distance, weather permitting, of millennium stadium, large taxis cheap enough, if not. Like staying at a mate's house but your mate's not there 🤣 Great pub about 10 minutes away, The Lansdowne. Easy check in & out. Danny was very responsive to all our needs.

The house was very clean & had everything we needed for a good nights rest. The beds were very comfortable & cosy. Directions & communication on how to get to the house were perfect and Steven welcomed us on arrival and showed our kids their gorgeous & very cute fostered puppies!! Thanks very much

I booked this accommodation for my accountant and his wife who were visiting on business from France. They were very impressed with the location the cottage and the beautiful countryside views. The pool opened on their second day and they had great weather so went to swim in the heated pool. They really enjoyed their stay and gave it 5 stars.

Beach House

ZoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is wonderful. We were four families with young children (8 adults and 7 kids aged between 0 and 4) and this place was just perfect for us. So much space - 4 bathrooms, and enough sections of the house for each family to be able to eg put kids to bed without being disturbed . The photos don't do the living space justice. There are two living rooms - one upstairs with incredible views and a pool table. The dining table that is photographed is not the only table for group dining. The kitchen also had a table of a size that can fit 8 around it easily. It had a long bench and there were 6 foldy chairs in the kitchen cupboard. The beach is literally 100m away from the garden down a little path. The garden is large and beyond it is an area with a slide. The beach is so huge and we saw hardly anyone else near us. Felt like having a private beach. We just spent the whole time in the garden / beach so can't comment on the wider area. There's a small Morrisons a few mins away
A well-maintained caravan is positioned on a grassy area, surrounded by trees. Its exterior features large windows with light curtains, allowing natural light to filter inside. Nearby structures are visible, enhancing the sense of a friendly holiday park atmosphere.

ZoltanRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Great little caravan where you'll feel at home. With kids this location was great, loads to do at the park, and the beach is a good stroll away too. The park itself is one of the quieter ones, which is great when you're travelling with family. If you need to stay in this area I would recommend. The local "chefs corner" is a place where I'd only recommend having pizza 😉 but there are magnificent places to eat around here, some are listed in the guidebook in the property. Thanks to Rihanna all aspects of the stay went very smoothly.
