Monthly Rentals in Ruakākā Bay

Kia ora I have stayed at Wayne’s beautifully appointed haven before, though it was quite some time ago. During the intervening time the standards have not slipped, nor has Wayne’s kindness, and responsiveness to his guests. I definitely recommend staying here, and would return again in the future. What lovely place to stay in Picton. Everything you need, great views and surrounds and the Airbnb is lovely with great facilities including laundry. David was lovely. Will be looking to stay again in spring!

Set at the quieter end of Whatamango Bay, John's 'Ahuriri Hideaway' has magnificent views back to the Sounds and across the Bay. It does feel very private. The deck was fantastic and very easy to zone out on with a sunny afternoon and excellent BBQ in play. Great to have the kayaks for a paddle around the bay, skimming over stingrays in the shallows. The bach had almost everything you need to hole up for a few days very comfortably, although the addition of access to a washing machine would be great. John was an excellent host, very communicative and flexible in our check in arrangements. Highly recommended!
