Family-friendly vacation rentals in Roxbury

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Stephen’s house! my brother came with his 3 kids and they had so much fun that they didn’t want to leave. There were plenty of activities to keep them entertained, and the pool was perfect. The grill and outdoor space provided exactly what we needed for some enjoyable family time. It was a perfect trip that truly felt good for the soul!

House was spotlessly and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and hot tub was absolutely phenomenal. Skylights let in beautiful natural light for reading and relaxing. Michael and Enrique were proactive about reaching out beforehand with the house information and we really, really enjoyed our stay. We're not used to baseboard heating so some of the noise from the heating surprised us, but that's to be expected with any place that's not your home. Would gladly stay here again.

We wanted a place close to home in NYC that felt like it was a thousand miles away - this place fit the bill. My city pup became a country dog and my son, boyfriend and I all felt our blood pressure drop. The woods in the back were pristine and the teen loved the hot tub on a cold cold night. Thanks for hosting us. I hope we will be back in warmer months.

As great as it looks in the pictures, they don't quite do justice to how beautiful and unique this place is. Took full advantage of the Sauna and highly recommend if you need a quite retreat!

What a gorgeous stay. My partner and I celebrated our five year anniversary here and each detail was perfect. The home is wonderfully curated, with stunning art, decor, puzzles, plates, you name it! And by the window, the feeders attract all kinds of birds that I’ve never seen so up close. Woodpeckers, cardinals, chickadees. You hardly need the TV, it’s so entertaining. The place is spotless and serene. And Rosy is so responsive while giving you complete privacy! You can tell she really cares about the experience she provides. If you’re looking to stay in an artfully cozy home, this is the place.

This was the perfect place for a weekend away from the city with a few couples. The hosts were so communicative and hospitable from the moment we arrived, ensuring we had what we needed (including sharing some amazing farm fresh eggs!). Our group loves to cook and the kitchen is an amazing space for friends to cook and hang out. We even had some fun using the pool table. The bedrooms were all perfectly comfortable and the bathrooms notably had great water pressure. Our dog also loved getting to run around outside in nature on the property. Location was very close to Rhinebeck where you’ll find tons of cute local stores and restaurants. We are already discussing coming back with friends this summer!

The house was everything we expected it to be! Everything was amazingly well stocked. The kitchen was full of dishes, glasses, pots and pans for us to use. The bedroom was complete with pillows, comforters and sheets. The bathroom had all the towels, wash cloths, soap and shampoo you could use. The living room had ample seating with plenty of firewood for the fireplace. There were even robes for the hot tub! Communication was great as well. Deb was great giving us all the information we needed before our stay. She also left us a nice welcome note! If you still had questions, there's also a binder in the kitchen that explained everything and includes phone numbers should you still need assistance. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area!

We needed to be in the area for three days and Jonathan’s place was very comfortable, pet friendly and 10 mins away from where we needed to be. The grounds are beautiful, sadly it’s winter so we weren’t able to take advantage. We were on-the-go and packed light, so having the washer/dryer came very much in handy. Bed was comfortable and restful, which was much needed. Also 10-15 minutes from lovely restaurants and a Main Street . Jonathan was also very friendly and helpful with our needs. Would definitely return if we needed to be back in the area again.

The house was beautifully decorated and the place made you feel at home. Beds were very comfortable and the house was perfect for what we needed. Seamless check in. Would def stay again.

Monica’s place was great for me and my family after a day of skiing. There are great restaurants near by and some waterfalls The place was clean and spacious. I’ll definitely give Monica’s place a try if you are going to be in the area.

I was very pleased at the pet- friendly features of this home away from home. There was lighting throughout the edge of the backyard which allowed me to safely take my dogs out before bedtime. We also took short walks in the neighborhood. The area was very quiet at night and I slept very well. I lived in the same city in a different area for years and had never experienced that level of quiet!

Perfect stay in the coziest cottage! Rose & Jamie were amazing and super helpful and made us feel right at home.

We had a great time at Tony’s place! We went when it was pretty cold and snowy. The fire pit made it perfect for feeling cozy, there was a thermostat so we could make it warmer, and the view from the loft was breathtaking. Our dogs loved running around in the snow and walking on the frozen lake. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

This was a great place to stay -- large space, in a scenic and private area. Very easy check-in process with helpful recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

A great get-away. Super comfortable, just as advertised, and with an incredibly stocked kitchen. Our dog had a blast romping in the yard, and my wife and I are already talking about going back in the summer. We loved it.

Our 2nd stay at Elizabeth’s house and it was as nice as our last visit. Our kids love exploring the home and property which has a wonderful view. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace to relax after skiing. Would highly recommend!
