We had a lovey time staying in Gartmore. Beccy was a superb host in terms of her communication throughout our stay and via message if we had any queries. The accommodation itself is very homely and has all the necessary amenities. It was very clean and we particularly liked the exceptionally comfortable bed and the nice hot shower. Instructions regarding how to use the fireplace and the oven are very clear and demonstrated Beccy’s attention to detail. The actual surroundings we stayed in are beautiful and there are many animals to see. We had a unique experience whereby we saw about 20 deers on the horizon with the moon shining down on them. If you’re planning on exploring Loch Lomond, this is a great place to base yourself.

This is our second visit to Robbie's place after an awesome visit last year. Some places put out free welcome baskets (the cost of which is really part of the price that you pay). Robbie doesn't this which I am grateful for. I don't drink wine and have food intolerances so often a nice box of chocolates, while it is a lovely thought is also frustrating for me. Instead of gimmicks Robbie has put a lot of thought and effort into making this a home from home with everything you could possibly want from salt and pepper to a comfy bed and fresh bedding. One bug bear I have at some places is a lack of decent knives... No problems here. There are some lovely walks nearby and the Loch is beautiful. I would recommend the diner at the botanical gardens for some good food too, well worth it for the hot chocolate alone.

We had a thoroughly relaxing 3 night stay at Cosy Lodge. The autumn colours were stunning and the views towards Loch Lomond were beautiful. The lodge was very well equipped and immaculately presented. The BBQ hut was a great novelty and a real highlight for the kids. Thanks for a great st-at, would recommend to others.

Beautiful little apartment, comfortable, with the most perfect view! We stayed here with our two children and they loved it especially our son as he had access to the garden from the patio doors! Wendy was so responsive and helped us with anything we needed. Lots of things to do around the village. The apartment had amazing use of space and was clean. We really had the best time thank you!

Dunans cottage was absolutely perfect for us, in an ideal location for visiting our family. The cottage itself is extremely cosy and quite quirky, like the gingerbread house in the woods. Set in peaceful & absolutely beautiful countryside. It has everything you could possibly need, the log burner was very easy to light and manage. The cottage was very warm and comfortable throughout our stay. Dino & Ali provide a really lovely welcome pack, with delicious bacon, eggs, butter, bread and milk, which was most appreciated, along with tea, chocolate and coffee, and a number of other condements to aid your stay. Dino welcomed us on our arrival, he was extremely pleasant & very friendly, we instantly felt at ease, he gave all the information we needed for our stay, and told us how to contact him or Ali if we needed anything. We would most definitely recommend Dunans cottage. We hope to revisit very soon. Many thanks Dino & Ali for sharing this beautiful little gem of a cottage, David & Lynne

Down a winding lane surrounded by red and orange leaves, you'll find a beautiful cottage and stables in Invervar that Tim and Judy call home, along with two dogs, a handful of chickens and a goose. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by Tim and welcomed into the main house and handed a fresh loaf of bread from the oven and a carton of eggs from the hens. The fire was already going in the little bothy I had rented for the weekend and Tim offered to show me a gorgeous woodland nearby where I could let the dog off for a run around. Him and his dog Fergus accompanied us through the birch trees and down by the river and he spoke to me about their life in London and the right to roam and I felt right at home. This is a special place, not only because of the incredibly beautiful surroundings and cosy bothy, but because Tim and Judy make you feel like you've always belonged here somehow. I'll be back.

This little cabin is just gorgeous, inside and out. Fully equipped with everything you'll need, spotlessly clean and nice and cosy. The views are stunning and the surrounding trees are alive with bluetits, finches and a camera shy greater spotted woodpecker! We only stayed 2 nights so didn't venture far but the beautiful town of Callander is only a 9min drive away. I just wanted to relax and read while hubby went fishing so that's exactly what we did. It was so peaceful and blissful. Sue was only a message away but we didn't need to bother her as everything was just perfect and as it said it would be. Would definitely 100% recommend this little cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had the most amazing stay at the wee hut. From cosy nights next to the fire listening to the rain to the amazing yoga session we had in the morning with Hailey overlooking the sunny Loch! I could rave about the wee hut all day….and the best bed sheets I’ve ever slept in. Thank you so much Rosie and Hailey, what a truly wonderful place.

Ewan & Taryn greeted me upon arrival at their property. They were very welcoming and friendly, made me feel settled straight away. Their shepherds hut is a cosy place to retreat back to after your days activities. I especially like the fact that their is no TV. It's basic, but that makes it relaxing in my opinion. You still have all the amenities necessary, and fast, reliable broadband. Dalmally is ideally situated between Oban and Crianlarich. So you get the picturesque coastline and Islands to explore as well as the colossal mountains and vastness of the Highlands and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs national park. I really enjoyed my stay, I liked my hosts and the area has a place in my heart now, so I will definitely be returning in the future.

We are just home from a lovely relaxing 2 night stay at Caban dubh and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Check in was easy, welcome pack was very detailed and informative. We arrived to a bottle of wine and crisps which was a lovely surprise. The space has been so well thought out and there was absolutely everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable which made it difficult to get out of 🥰 The views through the huge window are amazing and we loved the electric blind. Water barrel is a huge bonus which we enjoyed using with warm water(just a little bit too chilly for the cold water at this time of year) Great shower and pressure. Underfloor heating was delightful 🤩 We took a nice walk along to St Fillans Village store where we had a lovely lunch, soup and toasties were fab 😋 This place really is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back, as well as recommending it to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Simply amazing. Honestly at a loss for words describing how spectacular Duncan’s cottage is. The place sits high up on a private road overlooking Loch Earn with towering mountains of the highlands visible from every window, surrounded by amazing trees and lush ferns providing the impression of living in a fairytale-like setting. The house itself is lovely, appointed with an amazing kitchen (that oven is lovely!), plenty of plush furniture, fireplaces stocked with wood for cozy evenings, and comfy bedrooms for a good night’s sleep after a long day of adventuring the Scottish countryside. Bathrooms are fantastic as well and the hot water comes on instantly, which is pretty rare for housing that’s 100+ years old. The porch is fantastic for quiet self-reflection and enjoying your morning coffee while the Loch adds a mysterious aura as the mist and fog moves in and out with the rapidly changing Scottish weather. We even could hear Red Deer roaring in the distance.

A completely outstanding cottage. amazing Comms from the hosts. the house itself it beautiful, furnished very stylishly, all finishes, linens etc of luxury quality. the hot tub and the free standing bath are of course highlights, both with spectacular views. the indoor log burner and the fire pit on the beautiful terrace / veranda were added bonuses. the Argyll area has so much to offer, we could have stayed for weeks!

We had a wonderful stay at Carol Ann's place. The view is breathtaking and it is a perfect location from which you can go hiking. We did the Cobbler hike, which we could see from the house. It is cozy and has everything you need! We really loved it!

We had the most incredible stay at the cabin. The cabin was the perfect cosy size for a couple, and the underfloor heating was a real treat! We couldn't believe the views over Loch Long from the cabin. The scenery was beautiful, and it was spectacular to watch the loch's wildlife from the large window in the cabin. We took our paddleboards on the Loch from the cabin's private beach, which was an unreal experience! There is a gorgeous pub nearby to the cabin, and there is a beautiful walk to get there. The cabin is in a remote location, but it's very easy to get over to Loch Lomond (literally a 5 min drive), and there's a small handful of properties so it was lovely to have some neighbours! Because it's so remote, we had an amazing view of the northern lights from the cabin - Ken even messaged me to tell me they were visible, which was such a sweet gesture! There is also a lovely garden and fire pit, so there is lots of space on the property. We will definitely be coming back!

What a place! If you’re swithering, book it now - you won’t regret it. The bathroom is out of this world with a steam room and handy essential oils, never saw a soul the whole time we were there (apart from a couple of errant sheep) and the balcony is dreamy. The lack of tv threw us initially but actually would’ve been out of place in the accommodation which blends into the natural landscape. We read, played Scrabble and listened to music by the fire. A gem of a find.

absolutely beautiful stay, this was our favourite place of pur whole holiday. The cabin has everything you could need including little torches in the rooms and snuggly blankets for the chairs and sofa. The cabin was super toasty and warm and the bedrooms kept nice and cool but had radiators if needed. Our 2 young girls loved the space and we all enjoyed walking along the jetty and along the Loch front , making faerie houses from driftwood and oak leaves. we would definitely come stay again.

My family of 5 adults stayed in Alasdair's Lodge Sept 5th to 8th. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Showers great and beds comfortable. Lovely location , a short walk to the Lochside. We were blessed with hot sunshine and didn't want to leave. The hotel nearby did good pub grub and had a good atmosphere with friendly staff. Alasdair responded quickly to any queries . Footpath nearby to climb Ben Lomond. Beautiful area and would love to return. Thank you Alasdair!

The cottage was very warm and comfortable. The log burner was a great heat source and everything was very clean and well resourced with everything we needed for our break. Carolyn was very responsive to messages and check in and out was easy. The cottage was well placed for local walks and cycle paths and it was an easy walk to Drymen. Overall a great experience and highly recommend.
