Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rothbury

Lovely few days at Gail's. Everything was good and very clean. It's a great base for exploring the Northumberland coast. We had a fab visit to Warkworth Castle which was an easy walk from the house. Morrisons is only a 5 minute walk away and plenty of bars and eateries on the doorstep.

We had a great few days in Blyth. The house was very clean, comfortable and attractive, with everything we needed and more. The welcome pack of food and drink on arrival was well received - thank you! It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and a good fish and chip restaurant. Plenty do see and do just a short drive away. Communications from Gary were clear and helpful, and he gave lots of local recommendations. Can’t fault anything!

We stayed here for 5 nights - Rosemary was the ideal host - super helpful before we arrived and always available for any questions you have. The property is excellently located in the centre of cullercoats and only a 2 min walk to the metro station. The property has lots of Character and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Rosemary for a wonderful stay!

In the center of things, but still was quiet and peaceful. It is a beautiful, well appointed place with incredible views of the castle and water. Comfortable beds. Wonderful shower. Great kitchen. We hope to stay again. It was perfect.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Helen’s place. It was clean, had everything we needed for our 3 year old and the beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy and the centre of Amble is walking distance away. A great base for exploring the coast - recommend the Drift Café and beach at Cresswell! And The Old Boat House in Amble for a fancy fish dinner (booking necessary).

Such a lovely place to stay perfect if you have children, nice and clean, close to shops and restaurants, would absolutely stay again !

Absolutely great place. Perfect location for a nice day out in ouseburn / a walk along the quayside. Spacious and airy apartment that is bigger than it looks in the pictures too! Would recommend for sure! X

A perfect little bolthole for a break in our long journey. Easy to find and really central just off the High Street - also free parking nearby. Flat was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a super meal out and also seeing the band and horses out for the Thursday Night Chase, part of the Common Riding. Very much recommend Neil’s place - superb value.

A very nice very clean place with all necessary amenities and within easy walking distance for the Metro for a swift journey into Newcastle. Dean has renovated the property to a very high standard and always responded quickly to any queries. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Wonderful stay, very much recommend. Brill location (we drove & parking was always easy & great for us to see family / get to the beach / the city with ease). Lovely touch Yvonne & Andrew leaving a small milk for us & some very nice cookies. Super kind. Beds were super comfy, lovely quiet area. We will be back.

Lovely cosy apartment within easy walking distance from the city but in a quiet neighbourhood. Stayed for a couple of nights while visiting the Uni and it was perfect for what we needed. Comfy beds, good showers and everything we needed in the kitchen. Would recommend and would stay again.

My partner and I had a great time staying at Debra’s place in Seaham! Exactly as described in the listing, the apartment was spotless and well presented, left us wanting for nothing. Debra was a great host, suggesting different local restaurants and points of interest. Ashoka Indian and The Lamp Room are both well worth a visit on the sea front. Thanks very much and hope to stay again soon!

This a beautiful flat in a lovely area and is great value for money. The flat was spotlessly clean with a much appreciated welcome pack not to mention lots of teas and coffee pods too. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of glorious coastline to walk right from the front door. I definitely want to come back for longer next time!

Had a lovely few days here with my family. It's a beautiful quirky apartment in a lovely location. The host provided us with lots of information and recommendations regarding the local area. We really enjoyed our stay here.

A great place to stay if visiting Kelso. Close to everything that’s needed. Host’s were first class, from booking to answering any questions, always very responsive. Enjoyed the use of the property, it was near the beach and funfair, loads of restaurants at the end of the road and was in a quiet cul de sac. We enjoyed walking the short distance to the town centre and also to the ferry. Great location for all ages.

Hilary was a really friendly and responsive host. The accommodation itself was simple but very clean and had good amenities for cooking. Location is 10 minute drive outside of Newcastle city centre. There was a good amount of on street parking also. Overall, a simple but really solid place to stay if exploring Newcastle, especially if you are in a group.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. She was super helpful and proactive in making sure we had a great stay - and even let us check in early due to an earlier arrival time than planned! The place itself was the perfect size for our stay and was cleaned to a professional standard. It was really clear that there has been a lot of care and detail put into the property! Excellent stay at this apartment, we would 100% recommend and rebook! The balcony and view were a particular highlight. We were also grateful for the travel cot for our baby to use. Good amenities available in the kitchen & bathroom. Raluca was a friendly and responsive host and shared helpful information prior to our stay for a smooth and easy check- in and check-out. The apartment was peaceful and quiet. It made for a relaxing and homely stay. We would recommend Whitbarrow itself, it’s a lovely place for a staycation. We made use of the pool, sauna and gym. Overall a fabulous air bnb - we would love to stay again!
