House was everything that was advertised. Would have no issues with booking again in the future.

Beautiful home! Loved the view, even the master bedroom had an amazing view! Great beach area. Loved the dock, the bench at the end was picture perfect! Kitchen and bathrooms had all the amenities. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. So peaceful, unforgettable views!

Clinton’s place is amazing, we felt like home there, some games to play, great backyard, both bedrooms really comfortable. Heat water and great bathroom! They had everything there that helped us to cook our thanksgiving dinner! Loved that place and definitely will be back soon. Waiting the summer time!

The house was right on the water. What a spectacular view and bonfire pit right next to the lake and sand was perfect. The bed! The bed was amazing most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The house was spotless everything you needed was there. such a beautiful little cozy spot. We really appreciated it was pet friendly so our babies could enjoy too! Sadly the weather didn't cooperate for us so we ended our stay early. 😔 I figured a good reason to go out. This one is a gem! See you next Summer!

Planned a last minute trip to Houghton lake. Joe’s place was great to stay at with the family. He made arrangements for us to use the pontoon even though he was ready to pull it out of the water. The kids enjoyed the garage full of games, and the view was beautiful sitting in the sun rooms. We will be back!

Jeremy and Kendra's place was perfect for our family. We spent most of our time in the house... and the kids (ranging from 23 to 4) were never bored! Ping pong and basketball games in the garage, electronic game table, board games, puzzles, and hot tub action. We only turned on the TV for the Lions game... The house has a luxurious design and accommodations and is pristine and clean. Healthy soaps and cleaning products throughout the house. Mattresses and pillows were top quality and the showers had all the features that we expect in a 5-star hotel. The kitchen, dining and living areas were very large and accommodated our family of 8 without feeling cramped. In summary, we highly recommend this place and look forward to another getaway in the future.

This place was absolutely perfect. We were up for deer camp and the house had everything we needed! It made packing so much easier knowing they had everything from sheets to towels provided for us. They responded super quickly and were so friendly! Pretty sure we found a new yearly spot for our deer camp!

Key code lock on door was easy to get in at any time of arrival. Good area for parking a boat/trailer, and couple cars. Location was convenient to walk to Sam-o-Set in a few minutes. Felt private enough with trees on back and side. Cottage was clean and had adequate amenities including an ice-maker; was comfy and decorated very cute! Ryan sent message about northern lights being out that night. We launched boat out of South state park and the West Higgins Lake Boat launch if want to stay in northern part of lake.

Kellie’s an amazing host made our check in easy and she was very accommodating even with us booking just hours before our last minute trip to go trail riding between us forgetting to pack coffee which she had covered with her nice selection of Keurig coffee cups and a fully stocked kitchen for any cooking needs, the beds are very comfy this cozy cabin makes you feel right at home

Last minute booking to get away for a night at a very reasonable price. Even allowed my girlfriend and I to check in a few hours early if we arrived before check in. Very peaceful and right on the water, close to downtown. I would recommend family or friends to use this host for a nice peaceful getaway.

My family, friends, and I enjoyed staying at Tim’s property once again. Tim is easy to reach if needed for anything, and was a great host. The property is well located and beautiful! Walking distance to dine out, or just a few minutes drive to get groceries, while still feeling tucked away. We hope to stay again next summer.

Our first time to Houghton Lake and Heidi's home was perfect for our stay. My husband and I and our two pups really found all the comforts of home and in such a gorgeous setting! The bed was comfortable with plenty of linens. The kitchen well stocked with all you need to cook a meal. The games and cd collection ... so fun! The property and lake view, incredible! Sitting by the fire, listening to the waves and watching the sunset every night was the best. The area was great. We ate at Randy's a few times and grabbed some seafood while listening to the band at the Shrimp Shack. We rented a pontoon from Brian's Lakeside Marina, took the dogs swimming at both South and North Higgins Lake State Park and took the hour drive to Traverse City. So much fun packed into a long weekend with the perfect home to come back to! Heidi was so accomodating, responsive and just a pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend her gorgeous home!

What a great find! Needed a peaceful escape from the city and Ed's place was a gem! Super clean and spacious! Definitely give 5 stars+ we will back again!

we really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Kevin was a wonderful host and had great communication with us the entirety of our stay. home was a charming, perfect get away for our family of 5 and neighborhood was kind and quiet. a couple things I didn't quite grasp until communicated: the home doesn't have AC but host provided a couple games on stands that were very helpful. if you're there on a hot week, bring a couple more. also, there is a public boat launch and dock- which you can swim off of, but not an actual beach. we opted to make the 8 min. drive and go to the s. state park. all in all, wonderful time and would 100% stay again. thanks!!!

Loved the cabin!!! Super cute and homey, loved how pet friendly it was. The hosts were super responsive and went above and beyond for welcoming. Will definitely book again as we come up often!

My family and I really enjoyed this cabin’s rustic aesthetic. The giant sunroom overlooking the lake was everyone’s favorite feature. We will definitely be back!

The house was good, plenty of space for our family to spread out. We loved having kayaks and paddle boards and beach access! The hosts were extremely responsive and kind.

I booked a weekend icefishing getaway for my husband and we weren't disappointed! We were right on the water and could watch our tip-ups from the cozy cabin! It was clean, warm, and homey. We definitely plan to book again next winter.

It was very comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. My dog enjoyed the fenced in back yard. Quiet location. Short walk to the lake. Very nice welcome basket.

Cabana #7 was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Space was newly renovated and very clean. Host was very responsive with any questions/concerns. Check in was easy peasy. Beautiful spot to relax!
