The Eagle's Perch is a glamping (glamorous-camping) experience. Please bring your own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc. A unique octagonally-shaped, window-in-every-wall tree-house in the forest, on a pristine, spring-fed, mountain creek.
“The treehouse is awesome. The place is clean and there’s plenty of lighting for when it gets dark. Zack has firewood stocked and plenty of TP and hand sanitizer. The trail to the waterfall is short with just a few downed trees. We also explored the trails at Rockport State Park which was only about 5 minutes away. I highly recommend staying here!”
Sauk Mountain Cottage is tucked just off Highway 20 on four park-like acres. Fronted by a charming covered porch, the cottage has a queen-size bed, full kitchen, and bathroom. It's the perfect place to spend one night as you're passing through the Skagit Valley or to use as your base camp for several days while you explore the mountains and the river in this gorgeous area.
“The location was perfect for our travel plans and the cottage was spotless. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck. The hosts warned of possible highway noise and to be aware that the have an early rising rooster. We didn't hear anything from inside the cottage. It was super quiet. Since we were there just before the county moved to phase 2, we planned accordingly and brought food for our meals. The supplies were enough that we didn't need anything. The cottage sits between 2 state parks, which have a number of hiking options There is also a dam up one of the service roads. Enjoyed it all. Our only regret is that we didn't plan more time for this part of our road trip. We would love to come back and would definitely stay here again.”
Welcome to the Engstrom Lake House, on the Shores of Lake Cavanaugh - about 65 miles north of Seattle. The house is fully remodeled in the last year, has a large private dock (with room for a boat), private swimming area, hot tub, and spectacular views. A great place to unwind/relax, with many interesting and exciting things to do in the vicinity.
“Such a great house and location on the lake. Wonderful for disconnecting from technology and connecting with friends/family. We had some initial issues with the hot tub (chemicals were off) and the oven, but figured it out. Enjoyed a couple trips in the kayak onsite. Corrina was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend - especially later in the summer when temps are higher for lake swimming.”
