Puffin Cove apartment is exceptional. Superb location & views, spotlessly clean with high quality decor. Excellent shower with good quality towels. The balcony is a lovely sun trap for coffee in the morning whilst listening to the crash of the waves. Communication from host Dan is probably the most proactive and helpful we have received from an Airbnb host. Some of our favourite eateries: delicious Thai street food from Thongsay Thai, excellent coffee & smoothies at Meraki, a generously portioned Sunday lunch at The Rock Inn Georgeham, toasties & cream teas at the Town House in Morthoe, a very friendly welcome & evening meal at the Chichester Arms & incredible Sri Lankan curry at Barricane Beach. The listing says the walk to Morthoe is a 5 minute stroll, whereas for an unfit 45 year old I would describe it as a 10 min uphill hike 🙈 The walk back up from Gunta beach is also significantly steep. We created some wonderful family memories here and very highly recommend it.

Very good communication, friendly and gave suggestions of places to go. The manual provided on the table was very useful with wifi information and places to dine out. Beautiful apartment, cleaned thoroughly before checkin and had everything we needed. From clean towels, to baby highchair and cot, along with a good selection of dvds to keep the kids entertained. Thoughtful complimentaries such as coffee, tea, milk, washing liquid and powder. Airer is provided which was useful for laundry. Local beach is walking distance, all in all it was a perfect staycation. Highly recommend and would visit again! Brilliant host, brilliant place :)

We had a wonderful stay in Woolacombe to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and this Airbnb was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The sea views were stunning, and the accommodation itself was decorated to a really high standard—beautifully clean, super comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, with clear and thoughtful communication throughout. The welcome pack was especially impressive—full of useful information and little extras that really exceeded our expectations. We also really loved the local photography by Tory on the walls -it gave the place a really personal and thoughtful feel, and added to the sense of connection with the area. My parents loved it so much they were tempted to extend their stay for the rest of the week (if only we didn’t have to go back to work!). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely be back. tip for fellow guests: don’t forget to log out of your streaming services
