House vacation rentals in Rochefort-du-Gard

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay and Sophie was a wonderful host. Fantastic location (quiet and 5-10 min drive from Gordes). The villa has been newly renovated and made for a lovely place to stay. Would recommend and visit again. Great base to explore Provence!

Excellent place! Well decorated, I disagree with an earlier review, the only real problem is that the pool is a bit complicated but just pay close attention to the instructions and you will be fine. We had a great time, and I'd particularly like to say how helpful and nice the hosts are.

We had a wonderful stay at Secret de Uzes. The gite was well appointed, such a lovely and well stocked kitchen! The outside area was wonderful for enjoying the weather. The kids loved having the pool and hot tub available. We had some nice walks around the commune and the drive into Uzes where our family was staying was super easy. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A perfect stay! The house was beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated. The pool is superb, great for relaxing, and everything is perfectly equipped to cook at home. The host was extremely welcoming and attentive, with lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. This was a very relaxing stay. In addition, he gave us a bottle of wine, fruit juice, and allowed us an early check-in, which was really appreciated. We recommend 100%!

Isabelle was very accommodating for the check-in. Thank you for the little gift😉. The house is perfect, very clean and well-equipped! The hot tub is a real plus! The small village of Saint Hilaire is close to everything. Very good location. I would definitely recommend it!

Lise’s place is even better than the pictures and description on the site. The house is beautiful and located in a quiet but central place near the village square. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom were spotless and beautifully decorated. Lise is charming and had lots of great recommendations for us. This is easily one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at!! Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!

The mill is a little paradise when, like us, you are a family looking for rest and calm, while easily allowing nature walks and city visits. Everything is clean, well-equipped; well suited, there are garden games and games for children. Isabelle is a thoughtful and responsive host. In short, everything is absolutely perfect.

Stunning property in a superb location with a very attentive host. The 2 parking spaces were an absolute bonus. Having 3 en suite bedrooms was a real treat and the layout of the house was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and will be back again.

Patrick and Julie were kind, attentive and available hosts. Friendly conversations developed. A gourmet basket was waiting for us. As expected, ideal location to visit Avignon and the surrounding area, in the broad sense. A small downside: natural light in the living rooms is a little limited. But, a relative disadvantage when you spend your days exploring the surroundings! Recommended for people who care about peace and quiet. Synthetic note: Very good!

This is beautiful apartment, very comfortable, you find there everything what you need. Personal welcome is really nice, during our stay we felt there as at home, we hope we will come back some time.

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

We had a great time at Claire's place! The apartment is atypical, tastefully decorated and very cocooning, you immediately feel good there. It is clean, well-equipped and located close to Avignon. Claire was lovely and very flexible on check-in and check-out times, which was really appreciated. A property that we would highly recommend, and to which we will gladly return!

We stayed a few days with our two months old daughter in Simon’s beautiful villa. It was the highlight of our parental leave travel in south of France. Or maybe the best decision during our trip :) The villa’s location is ideal for peaceful, tranquil and private holidays. Meanwhile also super accessible to neighbor town for groceries and restaurants. We utilized almost all the outdoor dining spots (there are three!!) during our stay, it was wonderful! Spring lunch under the shed with the view of entire valley on a sunny day. Wine and cheese night by the pool with the look of entire private property, vineyard and mountains. It was really nice. The house itself was super baby / kid equipped. For new parents like us, it was such a relief. The kitchen was also well equipped with this hillside / vineyard view - wish we could have this view in our daily life. Had wonderful and memorable few days in Simon’s place. Simon is super responsive and kind as a host. Would definitely recommend!

It will be hard to put our stay/experience in words! This place was incredible!!! It was even more beautiful than the photos. There were 5 adults and 1 baby and this villa was absolutely perfect for us!!! Everything was exactly as described and was so comfortable and clean. The luscious garden and pool area were so stunning, felt like we were in paradise. Super close to town and walking distance to a local bakery and tobac which was super fun! Andre was so helpful with recommending taxis and local chefs to make our experience even more wonderful!! It felt like a home away from home and we definitely plan to come back one day and stay longer! Beautiful and well kept property! I would highly recommend staying here!!!

4-night stay in this lovely farmhouse in the middle of the vineyards, very well-equipped, with all the comforts for a family of 10. Damien is a friendly and responsive host. I would highly recommend it Stay to be repeated if we return to this beautiful region. Thanks for everything Damien.

Aurelie’s home was absolutely beautiful and located in a peaceful, small village in the Luberon. It was easy to find, and check-in was a breeze thanks to clear, straightforward instructions. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and even more charming than the photos — it matched the description perfectly. Aurelie was a wonderful host, checking in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. A few helpful tips: the village is very quiet with limited restaurants or shops, so it's a good idea to stop at a grocery store beforehand, especially if you're arriving on a Sunday. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in the Luberon!
