Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Riviera Maya

Ana was wonderful from start to finish. She worked with us for both check in and check out times to work with our schedule. She was always quick to respond before and during our trip. The apartment is great and the balcony overlooking La Quinta was fabulous to sit on day and night, we loved being able to hear sound of the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and we stayed for a month so that was really important. The stove worked, the hot water in the shower was great and the neighborhood was lovely. There are some long term renters in the neighborhood and we met some great people. I would definitely stay at Ana's place again. We loved it.

Very nice communication with the friendly hosts! The room was as described and we liked it very much. The cooking facilities are also great. There is a great view from the roof terrace. It invites you to linger with the furniture and hammocks. Somewhat light-sounding, but overall a very good value for money of the top central and close to the sea room. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We had a great couple of nights at Martha's place. Gustavo, her on-site assistant was very helpful, and Martha was also reachable and very flexible, e.g, we could leave our belongings after the official checkout time with no problems. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped, even with some snorkeling gear that we could use. My only issue was the loud fan noise coming from outside in the mornings, assumedly from the AC of the ground-floor restaurant. Otherwise, dedpite being centrally located, the place is quiet and peaceful.

This was our second year staying at this Airbnb, and it felt like coming home. Though it’s a simple, budget-friendly place, its very peaceful and very secure The terrace, with its view of the jungle and the hummingbirds fluttering by, was a daily delight. The snorkeling equipment and two bikes provided were essential for our daily life. However, what sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality of our host, George. A genuinely kind person, he went above and beyond for us. He organized a nice work place for my husband. Not only George ensured the bikes were repaired quickly, making our stay very comfortable. He also help us rent a scooter at a great price. When I lost my phone the day before we were leaving, only thanks to George I was lucky to find it. We’re incredibly grateful for his warm, attentive care and can’t wait to return again!

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay a short night, but it was still a very good decision to come. The location near Playa 88 is great, we were also able to park directly by car in front of the property. The room was very clean and spacious. The two hosts always responded super quickly and were also very helpful with other topics, thank you! We can recommend the property.

My second week staying here, Jorge & his mom are the BEST hosts!!! Never any issue with communication (very fast!), always willing to answer questions. This place is GORGEOUS!!! If you are not familiar with this type of area, it will look like your renting a concrete box - do NOT let the exterior fool you! Behind those walls are beautiful landscapes, very quiet, very private and super safe! It's very safe to walk, very peaceful, you have conveniences nearby (Sam's club, Walmart, grocery, convenience market, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). The place is as pictured, so much space inside and outside! We did not want to leave this beautiful paradise! Our taxi driver commented when pulling up, this is a very expensive and very nice neighborhood! Don't wait, book this place , you'll be glad you did!

We had a great time with our son and his family of 8. Plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels. The kids loved swimming in the pool but it was a little chilly for the adults. The water heater could be turned up for showers & washing dishes—there is no dishwasher which I didn’t realize but was not a problem. The location is great, easy walk to many restaurants and the main road to watch the sunset and a Soriana grocery. We felt very safe. When walking turn right leaving the house, first night we went left and it was a busy road and no sidewalk. Fabiola was great! Very helpful, answered all questions very promptly. Will return!!

exceed my expectations, a cozy place with all the amenities, even many more than I expected, such as elements to go to the beach (chairs, umbrellas and ice maker), the hosts are great, they make you feel like they were your own family, a site 1000% recommended, if one day I return to that paradise for sure I will stay in this same place.

Comfortable beds, clean space, game room was perfect for teenage sons. Exactly as the pictures. It was nice to have separate living areas for 2 families. Neighborhood felt safe.

Gladys was a very responsive host. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The place itself had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The beds were comfortable and it was very convenient with the extra bathrooms. There was also an additional half bath next to the beautiful pool.

Nice Airbnb. Deserves more credit than what you would think. The washer and dryer work great. Internet is fast for a group of 5 people. Clean sheets and towels. Good spot.

The location is perfect a few steps from the beach, the services they provide within the facilities is perfect, the only thing I could put as negative is maybe the installations look a little neglected but in general terms it is a good place to stay.

I just spent three magical months at Kara's place. It was absolutely perfect. Kara was always very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was exactly what I was hoping for. Her place is beautiful, with an amazing rooftop terrace and plunge pool (which is where I spent most of my time!!). Easily walkable to everything one would ever want (restaurants, shopping, beach, grocery stores, etc). I am already planning a return - longer next time! Writing this review wasn't easy - just because there is no way to capture just how comfortable and taken care of Kara made me feel. Hacienda San Jose is a truly magical place!

Gianmarco was a wonderful host! The apartment itself was fantastic - had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The location was incredible and the beach access with seating was so lovely. Will definitely book again next time I’m in town!

the communication with the host as well as his trusted man was perfect. Being a regular of PDC I had chosen this apt for its location ideally located. the rooftop was sublime. In the morning, afternoon or evening for a good meal overlooking the sea and Cozumel... magical. impeccable bathrooms and abundant hot water, like at home. a functional kitchen to prepare meals, nothing is missing. We'll go back for sure. My best quality/ price bnb

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Nelly’s place! It has everything you need and the outdoor patio area with the pool to cool off was just perfect! The condo is in the perfect spot to walk to groceries, restaurants and the beach! Nelly also responds so quickly which is super appreciated! We had a great and relaxing stay! Muchos gracias!

Mandy's place in Akumal provided a very relaxing vacation experience. The condo is as described, with many comfortable spots to sit and relax inside and out. Mandy was very helpful and provided unexpected and much appreciated extras as well as excellent advice and recommendations. We appreciated the beach chairs and snorkeling gear available for our use. The daily cleaning service was excellent.The beach view from the condo is beautiful, and there are four restaurants within just minutes walking (and many more for longer walks of 15-20 minutes). The areas was extremely quite and safe. We could not have been happier.

The apartment is as shown in the photos, everything is very clean and tidy, my family and I were very comfortable, it is very quiet and León always responded quickly to my doubts

We stayed at Margot’s place in the lead up to Christmas. It was a great location with off street parking, quite a big place with nice comfy beds, great washing machine and dryer and access to a beautiful pool. There was also a Christmas market happening nightly within walking distance, which my kids really enjoyed. Thanks for having us.
