Nid Douillet: House with Pool and Wood Stove

A nice bridge of May and the Sun, everything was there for us to have a great time in this beautiful accommodation. Clean, well-equipped, a super nice terrace (for aperitifs😜) and finally, a great pool! And then, this terrace lit up at night... ❤️ The little plus: Super fast responses and warm welcome from Anaïs! We would recommend this place without a second thought!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hosts are very helpful and told us about local events. Plenty of English books and some games are available. Pool is lovely and it’s all very quiet but a 10 minute drive takes you to supermarket and Boulanger is. In a small hamlet close to Paille. Great place to go for quiet time away, well equipped kitchen.

15th century Charentais house with pool

JulieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We were 3 families with children from 18 months to 13 years old and we loved this place. This is an absolutely beautiful old house and the garden is huge. The bedrooms are mostly very spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to prepare food. Beautiful things to do in the surrounding area and plenty of things to keep the kids busy (tree climbing, water skiing, Cognac ecomuseum, etc.). Isabelle was always very responsive to my messages and extremely accommodating. We were very sad to see the week end!
