What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

fantastic home to stay in. so close to the New Forest and plenty to do nearby whether you like hiking, cycling, eating out, drinks, live music, spending time with Alpacas, historic buildings, visiting beautiful gardens, peppa pig world.. there is something for everyone nearby. it's quiet, private and peaceful. The house is gorgeous, plenty of light and space, warm and cosy, very clean. Hot tub is brilliant! definitely recommend staying here!

A gorgeous bolthole to spend quality time with your family in the new forest. Having the animals around felt like therapy. Joce was super helpful and had plenty of suggestions for days out.

Sue and Robert were amazing. Very efficient and very happy to help with questions and responded very promptly. Also very kindly helped by taking part in a little surprise for one of the members in our group. All efforts very much appreciated. Highly recommend!,

The bothy didn’t disappoint. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage had everything you needed with a wood burner and hot tub which we enjoyed using . Chrissy was a great host , checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay . I would recommend having breakfast at the potting shed and there also a lovely pub which is in walking distance. We had a lovely relaxing few days and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this beautiful place . We will be back !!!.

it is really like a the holiday house but homey and fun and cosy. Really enjoyed and had a great weekend. John was also really sweet and friendly and we really felt well taken cared of. We will come back!

Stunning little cottage with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Both hosts were perfect, nothing was problem and always on hand for anything. This was a surprise trip away for my wife, celebrating our first wedding anniversary which was made even more perfect with help of Sarah and Jon with some lovely little touches. We can’t wait for our next trip!

Another very comfortable stay in East Hoathly. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Stephanie’s place. It is a high quality AirBnb set in beautiful, quiet rural surroundings. Stephanie is a great host - very responsive as well needed her involvement to sort out the Wi-Fi (which she did quickly). We’ll be back again.

The cottage was exactly what I needed to retreat from the world for a bit. Great setting with dark skies free of light pollution - perfect for star gazing. Dog walks from the property easy to follow and off road away from livestock - ideal. Plenty to see and do in the local area, but also just a great place to chill and relax with all amenities/equipment you need to cook from scratch. A real home from home, practical for dog owners (hard floor) and also very comfortable for their humans! Shower great, bed comfy, slept really well in this peaceful setting. Thanks Louise, loved it!

Beautiful cottage, an absolute gem of a place with beautiful surroundings. Incredibly peaceful. Stayed here with my partner and our 8 year old and we felt extremely well catered for. Would love to stay again and heartily recommend staying here.

Stunning accommodation in a quiet Hamlet. Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds as well as Cheltenham.

We really enjoyed staying at Gardeners Cottage. The cottage itself is homely, thoughtfully designed and well equipped. We especially appreciated the warm outdoor dog wash and loved the log burner with plentiful supply of logs and kindling. There are fantastic dog walks right from the door and an enclosed garden. Paul was a very responsive and helpful host when we got in touch and we would happily return again in the future.

We had a wonderful weekend! The highlight was definitely being able to walk straight onto the beautiful sandy beach—it made our stay feel extra special. The location was perfect, and the house was comfortable and clean. Thank you for hosting us, we hope to return soon!

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Just returned from a delightful stay at Deer View Cottage in Blockley. Firstly, the location is perfect just a short walk form the centre of the beautiful village of Blockley and the cottage in a row of terraced houses is exactly as described and in the pictures, in keeping with the surroundings. Despite arriving in the evening, entering the cottage was easy thanks to the clear instructions given by the hosts and on entering the cosiness of the cottage quickly became apparent. Furnishings were good quality and in great condition and added to the ambience ensuring I felt very comfortable and able to relax shortly after arrival. The hosts have thought of everything that may be required during your stay with a full range of utensils and appliances (including cleaning products) in the beautifully laid out kitchen on the lower floor and towels and bedding already provided meaning you needn't bring your own. Only warning would be the narrow staircase but perfect for a cosy getaway cottage.

Beautiful little bolt hole and great base for spending time in the Cotswolds. Lots of character, all the amenities you need and the most gorgeous log burner for cold nights in February. Judy was the best host, can’t recommend enough. Thank you we will most definitely be returning

The best things about this property are really how peaceful and quiet it is, whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house itself, whilst small, has everything you need. Very well thought out, with great little touches. Kind hosts. It was lovely sitting outside in the courtyard, reading with a coffee, whilst the sun was coming down and the owl swooping by.

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

2 Badgers Rest is worth its rating. Tina our host was helpful, let us know she was available but not at all intrusive. The cottage is clean and warm with good quality furnishings and super comfy bed. 5 Star throughout and we will look forward to another visit.

Fischer’s cottage is a wonderfully tranquil getaway in a beautiful part of Kent. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen and a magnificent wood burning stove in the living room to keep us cosy on a slightly chilly Summer evening. The garden was a delight and allowed our two-year old daughter a great space to play. We even made use of the BBQ and outdoor wood-burning stove. D was so helpful with directions, recommendations of where to visit and which pubs and restaurants to eat at. We would certainly come back again.

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

Stayed here for the weekend of our Wedding which was local. Absolutely wonderful location, lovely cottage, with a perfect Cotswold country feel. Really clean and well supplied amenities. Quite tricky to find but owners were so lovely and extremely helpful with communication and directions. Couldn’t fault our experience!

My stay at the cottage has been excellent! Rachel is an extremely responsive and kind host and ensured I had everything I needed for my stay, even bringing complimentary groceries on the first day just to ensure I was fully set up with everything I might need. She’s gone above and beyond and I would have no hesitation in staying here again. The place is very peaceful and secure, so very relaxing. Thank you Rachel for a wonderful stay, I’ll definitely be back in future!
