Such a wonderful stay. The view and wildlife is stunning and the area beautiful. The bed was comfy and appliances all worked perfectly. Great stay.

SImon’s place is fabulous! Fully kitted out to a great standard, comfortable, clean and private. The ceiling mounted projector made watching telly in bed feel like a luxury & if you’re wanting a little romance, it has a comfy “love seat” sized sofa opposite a gorgeous wood burner. Its proximity to Ickworth hotel & Ickworth National Trust, (20 minutes on foot), gave us a great option of joining friends for the weekend who were stopping at the hotel; we were able to enjoy dining & drinking at the hotel without the need for unreliable taxis or having to drive ourselves. This space would also suit a creative or professional working in Bury St Edmunds, 10 minutes down the road by car, who wanted their own space without being in a hotel. The little kitchen is well equipped & highly spec’d, making cooking breakfast on both days a breeze. Simon was a great friendly host, clearly a nice guy & rightly proud of the Airbnb space he’s built next to his recently renovated, beautiful home!

Lovely secluded place with great view of pond and wildlife. Immaculately clean and easy to use and access. Great welcome with home made cake, marmalade, eggs etc. Hosts very approachable and friendly. Weather was freezing cold but house most warm and cosy. A great winter hideaway!

The Cabin is one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever had the pleasure of using. Brilliant location, lovely hosts and truly outstanding spacious accommodation which was beautifully furnished with everything a couple could need.
