We enjoyed our stay. The house is really welcoming and comfortable. The hosts lived in the apartment below but remained very discreet. The view from the living room and bedrooms is really beautiful from the morning until the small evening lights. The house is very well equipped as if we were at home.

We (family of 5) stayed for 1 week in Mats great house. It’s easy to get to from the airport, just download svipper app and see which bus you need and pay your ticket in the app. The bus stop Storskogen is not far from the house. The house is big and comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfy and there are enough towels, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper for the whole week. There is also a hair dryer and kitchen towels and enough tablets for the dish washer, etc. The best is the view from the balcony! We saw the Northern lights from there right on our first evening. Amazing! The couch and the dinner table are nice, big and a great hangout. We walked most days back and forth to the city. It’s a 20 minutes walk. Taking the bus is also easy. Streets do not completely get cleared of snow and ice. We were wearing snowboots, my mother walking boots with spikes. We loved our northern lights trip, langlaufen (both via airbnb) and dogsledding (Arctic Adventure Tours)

The host is very welcoming. The view is superb. I was very surprised and had a very happy stay.

We had a great week at this beautiful house by the fjord. Everything was perfect: the super fluffy bedding, the house very welcoming and very clean, the glass window directly overlooking the fjord....we even had a beautiful aurora borealis directly on the terrace!! Tommy is an extremely welcoming host (thank you again for the delicious fish!), very responsive and constantly concerned about our well-being. We recommend this house 100% thank you tommy!!

we had the most wonderful stay; a fantastic house in a wonderful location with stunning views. Øystein welcomed us, explained everything we needed to know and gave us helpful tips for getting around and places to visit. Next to a beautiful woodland nature reserve for walks and an easy short bus ride into Tromsø. Kristine took the time to message us and help us find the perfect spot close to the house to see the Aurora Borealis :))

Wonderful stay at a quiet location close enough to walk down the street to restaurants. Hosts let me park the motorcycle in the garage, and had the door open and ready for me. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Really good AirBnb, clean and practical for our last days before leaving Norway although a little small for 5 adults.

Apartment was incredible and perfect for our family of 3. If you want to be away from city center, this is the place for you. Local transportation is within walking distance and very reliable even during a snowstorm. Knut was welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend Knut’s place enough.

The apartment is located in a quiet area at the top of the mountain. The bus stop is a few hundred meters away. Across the street you have a beautiful view of the city, on the last evening we watched the northern lights over the house, the city and the Storsteinen from there, really very nice. For skiers (cross-country skiing), the area is perfect. In the immediate vicinity are several illuminated cross-country trails (e.g. Charlottenlund or Prestvatnet). I also liked the Tromsø Alpine Park. They are very nice hosts, I didn't have to ask any questions, as everything was already answered via the Airbnb app (code for the key box, Wi-Fi, garbage separation, access to the apartment, ...). Since it was not my first stay in Tromsø, I did not need excursion tips, but there are several brochures for this on the shelf. By bus you are in the city in about 10 minutes. The surroundings (generally northern Norway) are beautiful.

Very responsive friendly host. Allowed us late check out which was ideal and convenient for our flight. Svipper bus service easy and excellent. Joker convenience shop late opening was a huge bonus for late arrival to get tea coffee and milk :)

Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. Thank you both so much!

A beautiful place so stay. The apartment was lovely, stylish and comfortable, and the island so peaceful.

Central location! Everything you need from meeting with tour guides, food, groceries, shopping, and all else is extremely walkable.. like between 1-5 min! The view is spectacular, the kitchen is fantastic, and the overall vibe was peaceful. We slept well, ate well, and truly had a great time at Trine’s place! Highly recommend as your home base in Tromso.

We enjoyed our stay at Ingrid's place. She was very responsive and helpful, the location was convenient for activities in and around Tromso, and the apartment had everything we needed. The only (minor) issue was that we were visiting during the midnight sun period and the bedroom window blinds didn't do a very good job of blocking the outside light.

The location is peaceful and perfect for a quiet retreat, yet conveniently accessible. The cable car Fjellheisen, bus stop, and grocery store are all nearby. Jarl and Frøydis are excellent hosts, and the place fully lives up to its glowing reviews. They provide all essential amenities, with the added bonus of micro-spikes for winter, which were incredibly useful. Jarl also shared some great local tips that we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

A very pleasant place to stay on the outskirts of Tromso. Very handy for the airport, but regular buses into town as well. Not much to do or places to eat nearby however. Very smart and clean.

Nice small apartment on a ground floor of the house. Had everything I needed for my stay in Tromsø. Not the most spacious apartment but good layout makes it work very well.
