You won’t believe it until you see it!!!! The most incredible view that just goes on forever…we brought 2 dogs and the surroundings were absolutely perfect for them. Sean was great and kept in touch with us the whole week, even brought us fresh eggs from his hens!!!! Everything was perfect and we had an awesome time.

home from home. home was well situated and easy to find. close to town. very well appointed and was equipped with everything you needed or maybe even fogot! kids felt right at home lots of games to play with. was a nice change to rent somewhere that had both TV and Internet ready to use without having to sign into anything.

We loved our month-long stay, the house here are the highlights: Residence in a good location to discover the island of Cap Breton and its surroundings. Very quiet place away from the neighbors, right across the marina. Beautiful residence, very clean, full of beautiful windows, comfortable and well air-conditioned Very popular outdoor fire pit and pergolas. All services and restorations are within a mile Nature is very present all around the house (deer, foxes, squirrels, crabs, cormorants, herons, blue jay, fishing martin, etc.). Things to consider: No curtain in the master bedroom. No mosquito net in all the windows then, chose mosquitoes or air conditioning. Dining table for only 6 people seated (advertised; maximum of 8 guests). Very briefly equipped kitchen Many light bulbs are burned inside and out and none A big thank you to our hosts for the stay!

Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melissa's home. We arrived late and woke up to the breath-taking view. We took a walk down to the docks and it was a beautiful way to spend the morning. Everything was perfect at the house, with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay. Such a cozy modern cabin. it had everything we needed and the host was always quick and responsive anytime we messaged her. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice peaceful break with beautiful scenery. We will for sure be going back in the future

I've stayed in two cottages on Lianes property. Both were absolutely gorgeous. Rustic but with very modern amenities! The comfiest beds and beat sleep you can get on the East Coast. Each cottage has a different aesthetic, my husband is a carpenter and could not stop raving about how cottage loon smelled like pine because it was made from logs. We saw an eagle flying overhead while having a fire on the lake shore! The hot tub is amazing and booking your time slot is incredibly easy. Liane is incredibly responsive, accommodating and friendly! If you want to book the sauna, make sure you let Liane know well in advance and book a time! It has to be heated up in advance and we were hoping to use it just prior to check out so it's the only thing we didn't get to try! It is an amazing, private, quiet little spot. A real score for the price! I've seen cottages in less desirable, more populated campgrounds in more touristy locations for 2-3x the price! We love staying at St. Esprit!

This airbnb has been the best one our family has gone to all over NS, there was things I didn't Remember to bring and was here. Its a beautiful spot, the house is spotless and cozy ! There's nothing I would change, this is going to be my husbands port to come in from fishing, so this is definitely going to be my spot to keep coming back to. i'm excited to make a trip here in the summer with my older children so they can experience it. Thank you guys for everything!

This was our second visit and we will without question be returning. Beautiful accommodations, everything you need to enjoy the peace and tranquility of St. Esprit. We even encountered a low tire which our wonderful hosts were eager to help with.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking location—nestled right on the water, with serene lake views. The cottage itself was spotless! The hosts clearly take great pride in maintaining a pristine space. Every surface was impeccably clean, the linens were fresh, and the outdoor amenities were well-kept. It felt like stepping into a private paradise. The private hot tub was the highlight of our stay! Sitting in the warm bubbling water while gazing out over the lake under a starry sky was an experience we will never forget. The attention to detail in this rental is incredible—everything we needed was provided, and the hosts were wonderful, responsive, and welcoming. If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with nature at your doorstep, this is the place to be. We will absolutely be returning!
