Cottage vacation rentals in Richmond County

Cozy cabin, private and quiet. Pet friendly, so that was a plus! I didn't end up getting to check out the common areas. The cabin being 420 friendly made me feel at home. I came to unwind and get away from work/life. This cabin checked all the boxes. I do wish I could have stayed a second night. I would go back again, next time take the time to check out/enjoy common area(s)

We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at Julian’s place! The hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our visit. The home is exactly as described and shown in the photos - a very old house with plenty of charm, but exceptionally clean. It was the perfect spot for our large group attending a nearby basketball tournament, allowing us all to stay together comfortably. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, whether to relax after a long day or kick-start the morning. We’d definitely stay here again!

I've stayed in two cottages on Lianes property. Both were absolutely gorgeous. Rustic but with very modern amenities! The comfiest beds and beat sleep you can get on the East Coast. Each cottage has a different aesthetic, my husband is a carpenter and could not stop raving about how cottage loon smelled like pine because it was made from logs. We saw an eagle flying overhead while having a fire on the lake shore! The hot tub is amazing and booking your time slot is incredibly easy. Liane is incredibly responsive, accommodating and friendly! If you want to book the sauna, make sure you let Liane know well in advance and book a time! It has to be heated up in advance and we were hoping to use it just prior to check out so it's the only thing we didn't get to try! It is an amazing, private, quiet little spot. A real score for the price! I've seen cottages in less desirable, more populated campgrounds in more touristy locations for 2-3x the price! We love staying at St. Esprit!

This airbnb has been the best one our family has gone to all over NS, there was things I didn't Remember to bring and was here. Its a beautiful spot, the house is spotless and cozy ! There's nothing I would change, this is going to be my husbands port to come in from fishing, so this is definitely going to be my spot to keep coming back to. i'm excited to make a trip here in the summer with my older children so they can experience it. Thank you guys for everything!

Stayed at falcon lodge and can confirm we will be returning sometime! The whole place is so beautiful and peaceful :) Liane is an amazing host quick response times and clear directions. Highly recomend booking with her!

We had a wonderful stay! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a birthday getaway and Liane left us a thoughtful birthday note and some treats. Cottage Bear was so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage had a beautiful view with a deck looking out over the water. Liane made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary supplies. The hot tub was amazing and surrounded by ambient lighting. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

Very relaxing spot, excellent view sitting right in a little bay on the ocean so the water was always calm. If you have kayaks make sure you bring them it would be a perfect spot. We tried fishing from shore but I think you might need to get out in the cove a bit where it’s a little deeper. Very cute spot loved drinking coffee every morning on the deck looking at the view!

The place has a beautiful location and everything you could wish for. Amazing location to explore the area around and Cape Breton. I wish I could've stayed longer.

The house on the lake was just what we needed to enjoy a cousin get-away! The house has plenty of indoor space to socialize and relax. The outdoor space was stunning ~ loons, heron, and otters entertained us in the lake. There are extra bedrooms and bathroom in the converted garage. It is very peaceful and the scenery is beautiful.

Was a great stay and can’t wait to come back very peaceful and enjoyed going out on the kayaks and visiting the islands. Took time out of her day to come and greet us as well. thanks again for the wonderful stay
