Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Retranchement

We had a wonderful time with special attention to cleanliness and the small details that make your stay very pleasant. The equipment is perfect for having a good time with a small village and local shops and a beautiful restaurant 5 minutes away by car. We'll be back for a new experience as we had such a great time.

We had a very nice time over a long weekend with several generations. Super nice house with a great garden. We had rain and sunshine and both are equally beautiful! If you like it cozy, just turn on the fireplace. The immediate area is great for beautiful walks. A mini supermarket is a 7-minute walk away, where there are really delicious chocolate croissants🤗. The house lacks nothing and is super cozy and perfectly divided. We'll be back!

Beautiful house. We had a wonderful week’s holiday. We were lucky with the weather. Sheep and chickens intrigued our 2 year old. I struggled with the stairs as they were so narrow and steep but there was a bedroom downstairs. Thank you Ann.

We were on site with our 2 children. The family felt very comfortable. Great loft which leaves nothing to be desired. The kitchen is mega well equipped. Goes is a great little town and the location of the loft is perfect. I'm sure we'll be back ❤️ Benjamin always helped us with questions right away. Great contact!

What a top accommodation! The house is super spacious and tidy, with a private bathroom in each bedroom – super convenient. The sauna was lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and cared for. The garden with petanque court and the cute alpacas were really the cherry on top. Also nice: a charging point for our electric car! Carine responded quickly to all our questions. Bruges and Ghent are easy to reach. We really enjoyed it!

Wonderful stay in this beautiful vacation home with our three children. Very well-equipped accommodation for a week with family (bed, high chair, indoor and outdoor games), spacious and quiet. Very friendly and available owners. Thank you so much.

We stayed at Parkzicht for two nights to go to our aunt's 80th birthday party in Middelburg. We loved the accommodation, very central, a 10 minute walk to the marketplace, very spacious, comfortable beds, great shower, coffee machine and very well equipped kitchen. Helena was wonderful. We arrived at 9pm in Middelburg because the train from Rotterdam took a lot longer than we expected (lack of research on our part - the train arrived on time), and were worried we wouldn't find anywhere to eat, but she recommended a great restaurant, ZanziBAR, in the market square so we were really happy, and well fed and watered. She was also very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. There were leaflets in the lounge as well. Thanks again Helena. We had a fabulous stay.

We spent a week with our dog in the tastefully furnished apartment, we lacked nothing. The kitchen equipment is very good, the large garden is a dream, the dog playground was valuable to us. We have tested the in-house boule court. Location to the next town was optimal. The sea can be reached by bike in 10 minutes! We will be happy to come back!

A really great apartment and a very friendly and helpful hostess. We were 2 adults and 2 children and we didn't miss anything here. The breathtaking view alone is worth it, but the landlords have managed to make the apartment really cozy with a clever decoration - here you don't want to leave the accommodation after every excursion! Definitely a clear recommendation!

Tini’s place is the perfect little getaway for 2 people - we felt right at home, everything was as described, and very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful quiet apartment in busy social area . Windows must have been triple glazed as we couldn’t hear a noise once we stepped instead. We all loved the shower! Beds comfortable and air conditioning lovely as it was very hot when we stayed. We explored Lille , took a day trip to Ghent and popped to dunkerque on the train. Lille is lovely we will definitely be back! Nathan answered all our questions and we were able to leave our luggage before our return train home at 2000. Five stars all round!

We had a wonderful stay at Bellatrix's, and felt very comfortable. The accommodation is super clean and modernly furnished. The hostess is also very friendly and gives good tips for the area. The proximity to the city as well as the short distance to the beach are excellent.

Philip’s place was absolutely amazing. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Warm and cosy and walking distance to the town centre. We were personally greeted and shown around and given recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Be mindful that the accommodation is right on a cobblestone street and the cars can be noisy but it’s fine at night time. Will definitely be back. Thank you Philip!

Tille's place is an excellent base to explore Ghent. The flat is clean, spacious, light and airy. It's walkable to the city centre and both stations are accessible by bus. Tille (and her son!) were great hosts - friendly, flexible and warm. It was a pleasure to stay here!

The views over Aspers Cycl Cross were breathtaking. Sat on the balcony and watched all the boats and barges go past, got some waves! 18 year old son loved the natural pool. All 6 of us were able to spread out comfortably with plenty of room in this spacious villa. Gavere is a breathtaking town full of character. Ghent 20 minutes beautiful with fantastic display at STAM museum and walking in town by Grasbrug and canals. 1hr 10 minutes drive to the incredible Pairi Daiza Zoo. Allow minimum 6 hours to tour and take it all in. 1 hour drive to Bruges which is by far our most favorite city to visit every time we return to Belgium. The market square was alive with the festival and smells of chocolate and waffles with horse poo shared in good measure! The TV in the main bedroom is far easier to use than the lounge TV. The bathrooms need locks preferably. Guido, our host was very laid back and friendly. A delight to talk to. We had all the basics needed. Loved every minute of our trip!

Our group of 11 people had a very nice time! The house is really very nice and very close to the beach, in the middle of the dunes. Brigitte is very accommodating and always responded quickly to our messages.

We had a great time at Martijn's house and would be happy to come back. The house is well equipped, very clean and offers plenty of space and many possibilities for all ages🙂. A really nice place!

Françoise's house allowed us to have a very nice family reunion. The garden and outdoor space allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather and the surrounding calm. Françoise answered any questions we had. The accommodation had all the amenities to accommodate 8 people without any problems.

Top location to enjoy a weekend in Knokke. Easily accessible, quiet location, but at the same time not far from all the nice places. Sofie was quick and clear in communication. The house was nice and comfortably furnished.

We were guests with three families (6 adults and 5 children) in Bart's house. The planning and check-in went smoothly, bed linen could be booked spontaneously. Our stay was great - the kitchen was well furnished, everyone had enough space, it was clean. The highlight for the children was a furnished playroom and the fenced garden. The beach was within walking distance. We felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, we damaged a table during the stay, but Bart also arranged that directly and easily. We had a really nice time and can recommend it for larger families/groups from the heart. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Fred's house and felt very comfortable. It is really nicely decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped. From the house, the beach and town are within walking distance.
