The beach house at Åkra is highly recommended. We felt welcome from the second we walked in the door. The house had all the amenities and more - not to mention the brilliant outdoor spaces. The house is within walking distance to Åkra city center and right by the fantastic beach. We stayed 4 adults and 1 child - and there was plenty of space for all of us. We are already planning our next trip to the beach house.

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

The house has a great location and a beautiful view of the fjord. There are also many beautiful hikes that start nearby. Anne Marie and her husband were very friendly, helpful and always quick to reach. We would definitely come back.

We had a great stay and can warmly recommend the place! The location was perfect – close to everything but still quiet. The apartment was clean and fresh with a lovely balcony where we were happy to sit and enjoy the nice view. The kitchen was well equipped, which made cooking easy, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, if not better!

Nice host. Nice apartment that met our needs. Tidy and clean. Nice areas nearby, trails and walking/bicycle paths. Located just outside Stavanger, but easy to get there e.g. by train or bike. We had a car. I recommend the apartment if you don't need to be in the middle of the city.

The place was very clean and exactly as described, with all the promised amenities. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend it!

We had a very nice time in this apartment. It has everything you need to live and it is warm and cozy. The view from the apartment over the fjord is fantastic! You can quickly reach beautiful hiking areas and Stavanger by car, as well as good shopping. Very close to the property are the bus stops of line 100, with which you can get to Stavanger and back very comfortably. A very special highlight were the extremely delicious waffles that Trond baked especially for us and that were ready for us upon arrival. After the long drive, it was especially good to be taken care of! Thank you for that!

Everything was perfect at Anders’s apartment. They have taken care of all the small things one might need for a comfortable stay, thanks for that. The view from the balcony is also nice. I highly recommend this place.

The place is lovely, even more beautiful than the pictures. For us, it was the most beautiful place to stay in Norway. The garden, nature and the private beach are fantastic. We thought it was very good that we were allowed to use the canoes. Check-in was also great. øyvind welcomed us very nicely and showed us everything. He was always available and very nice. We are very glad to have booked the place and would come back any time :-) 10/10 stars 🌟

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arriving in a foreign country after 2 days drive and being at home is mainly due to great hosts like Lillian and Stein. Rarely have we met such nice people who go out of their way, offer 110% service and are fully helpful. The communication was great, we received an answer to all questions without exception and always very quickly. We had a great time at your wonderful home on the fjord. It is modern, equipped with everything you need. It is clean, lovingly decorated and very cozy. Thanks Lillian and Stein, all the best for you!

What an amazing place! Just absolutely beautiful and exactly as in the photos. The cabin was very cozy and a beautiful place in great weather where you can swim right outside. In rainy weather, it was also very cozy to sit inside and look out at a lot of fish in the river. I would like to come back here - a treasure of a pearl. Inside the cabin, there were all the little extras that made it incredibly cozy. Sølvi Marie was quick and nice on the phone and hopes to return. Regards, Anita

Grethe's place is very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The area is very majestic with awesome views of the mountains, lakes, fjord, countryside, sheep, and more sheep. Be sure to go down to the ferry at the end of the road where the views are spectacular. You can have a picnic there or start a hike that starts there.

We spent 8 nights here with our 11-month-old baby. It's a really beautiful bright house with a great terrace and magnificent views. We immediately felt immediately comfortable and slept wonderfully. If you are looking for peace, relaxation and enjoy nature, you are in the right place!

We LOVED this spot, especially the outdoor patio/ deck. We enjoyed our mornings on what we dubbed as "Coffee Rock" watching the boats tour the fjords. The place is so private and comfortable; a secret slice of Norwegian heaven. Perfect location for Priekestolen hike as well as other lesser known (and equally impressive) hikes. Loved every minute here.

The surroundings are truly breathtaking, with beautiful views and excellent hiking spots nearby. Birk is also very responsive and helpful!

Beautiful outdoor area, garden, lawn, several seating areas and sea view. Nice, cozy cottage (normal standard) and private annex with 3 beds. Great location, especially if you are tempted to hike to Prekestolen! 25 min to Stavanger city center and 20 min to where the trail starts. Close to the road but undisturbed due to planting. Close to shops and fast charging. Great value for money if you are many. Very welcoming host, good information and quick to respond.
