Communication with Suzanne was very easy. Her husband welcomed us nicely and provided us with everything we needed for a braai. We enjoyed having meals on the terrace in their beautiful garden. All in all, we had a short but comfortable stay.

My 3 dogs and I were very comfortable at Nadine’s house. I felt relaxed and safe and we slept very soundly that night. I experienced car mechanical issues and Nadine recommended names of 3 mechanics to help me out - really appreciated that assist! The Spar was located just a few minutes away so that was also convenient. And Nadine’s kids were friendly and kind to my dogs. Great stay, thanks, again.

We a enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need. Rachel gave us a home away from home. Very friendly and helped us with everything. Check in and out time flexible, and that helped us very much. Will stay at Rachels place whenever we visit Bethlehem again.

The Stone Cottage

The Stone Cottage is amazing. It's just so cozy and you immediately feel at home. There is a lot of history to the house and the farm in general. It's so serene to have a cup of coffee in the morning with no one around and no sounds other than the grazing cows and verve monkeys in the field. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and warmth of the house and the surroundings and recommend it to all. Vicki and Rick are amazing hosts, extremely responsive, and make the entire process a breeze. Looking forward to coming back soon!

McFab Farm stay entire house

McFab farm stay is a lovely rustic farm house, off the beaten track and very peaceful. There is little to do in the area and the nearest two is roughly 40 minutes away so be prepared to relax. The house has all the hallmarks of a farm, wooden floor, stone walls but is well appointed with everything one may need for a short or long stay. Remember to bring all you need food/ drinks / condiments wise but they have a gas stove and fridge with all the cutlery and plates one would need. They have good selection of books and there are some walking trails to be found in and around the farm, great mountain biking and some fishing at nearby river. I would recommend this stay for people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, away from cellphones ( very limited signal at the property ) and get in touch with country/ farm living.

Marlize (our host) was incredibly accommodating and communicated clearly throughout our stay. The space is big and clean, offering great value for the price! It was exactly what we needed for a stopover between Joburg and Durban- a comfortable spot to rest. We appreciated the host's attention to detail and would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had such a lovely stay in this secluded magical spot. There are magnificent views, a lovely dam nearby and walks on your doorstep. Our dogs were in heaven and we loved it too! The hosts also went above and beyond assisting us with getting our sedans to the house - it was a challenge but worth it!!

Great hosts! Wonderful location, with a fabulous view from my bedroom window, of Bethlehem. Enjoyed an evening and a morning walk. Quiet, safe area. Comfortable room with everything that I needed for my overnight stay, en route to Durban. Perfect stop over.
