With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

Claire was amazing at responding to my messages really quickly and even allowed us flexible check in and check out times, which was a god send with our two children. The cottage is up a little track surrounded by beautiful countryside and feels so peaceful but is still close to lots of things. The cottage is decorated beautifully and has everything you need. We were given plenty of instructions prior to arriving and we had everything we need throughout the stay. Can’t wait to come back one day! For anyone attending a wedding at Middleton Lodge, it’s about 10-15mins away so perfect location!

An excellent property. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The beach is huge and lovely. Plenty of space in the house. TVs, games, DVDs provided. Comfortable beds, cupboards and chests of drawers. Large kitchen with all equipment provided. Easy walk into town and we had a great walk to the coast and lighthouse across the fields. Enjoyed a good meal at the local Thai restaurant and bought food, shoes and clothing in the town. Whitby is a great destination for trips all over the area.

My adult son and I stayed for three nights in Brian’s property . The apartment is immaculate and just as described with high quality fixtures and fittings. Beds, linen and pillows particularly stand out. Plenty to see and do within walking distance, frequent bus service from Whitby to surrounding villages and towns as well as train station within walking distance- if you want a different method of transport. For those driving to Whitby the free parking is a real bonus ( residents permit provided with rental property) . If you get the chance to book this place- take it- highly recommend.

Stayed here with a friend Friday-Monday and will definitely be returning! The location is about a 4 minute walk from the centre and is in a great location about 2 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was absolutely spotless and had everything and more what we needed! It is in a nice, peaceful area where we felt safe and at home. This place is perfect for couples, families and friends. I have absolutely no criticism it was perfect!
