I had an excellent few days in Huaraz and exploring / day trekking in the region. José reached out to be a few days prior to the booking, giving me info on his weather forecast, arrangements from the airport to Airbnb, and more. He was always reachable within a few minutes and even helped with getting WiFi back up (the internet service provider had the issue) late one evening which was a godsend. Apartment was squeaky clean, and it was incredible to enjoy a hot shower after hours long treks in the mountains.

The suite was exactly as shown in the ad: beautiful, impeccable, very cozy and they welcomed us with a delicious huaracino cheese! In the mornings, we had a spectacular view of the snow-capped Huascarán from the balcony. The location was also ideal, we could walk to the Plaza or take a taxi 5 minutes away and the area felt safe. The accommodation was equipped with everything needed for cooking after returning from the tours. I was mistaken about the checkout date, but Mara, the host, was very understanding and kind. He quickly helped me resolve the issue. I would definitely come back!

Jorge is a great host! Very friendly and gives you so many helpful instructions for mountain adventures! If you'll be looking for some guided tours, make sure to ask him first!
