Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! was a lovely private spot, hassle free. didn't use the amenities but you would be happy enough chilling here for a quality private retreat

If you are looking for peaceful, relaxating and bit of play then this is the right place. We loved the location, the hot tub and had a blast with the go karts (our 3 year old especially). Good farm house stay. James was our contact and was very helpful and responsive. We would absolutely recommend!

It was a lovely old house that has been tastefully updated. It is a bit far from the nearest town to walk to so we drove. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were lovely and the hot tub was brilliant. The bed was cosy and comfortable.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

We had such a nice time staying at the cottage. It was so peaceful, right in nature. Daragh was very kind and gave us a lift to the shops which was really nice. The cottage was perfect and felt very homely.

My family loved our stay at Ardcarne Lodge. Brian and his parents were helpful and welcoming, with lots of local recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, and the lodge itself was utterly charming. We also appreciated the fresh flowers, and the grocery essentials in the fridge. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland!

If you're looking for a traditional Irish country cottage, with plenty of space, and privacy, you won't go wrong with this. Margaret the host was fabulous from the moment it was booked and really couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage has everything you could possibly need, both indoors and outdoors and it was lovely to find some buns, milk, orange juice and water on arrival. A very nice touch. Thoroughly recommend the host and the cottage. Book with confidence - you won't regret it.

I really enjoyed my visit to Mary's cottage, the place was clean and comfortable, Mary is a very warm and thoughtful host and the location is breathtakingly beautiful! perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Everything at the cottage was as described. It's charming, comfortable (the beds are wonderfully good), secluded and very quiet, in elevated scenic surroundings. Clare was a responsive and helpful host. In nearby Ardara (5 min. drive, 20 min. walk) you should eat the fantastic local oysters and drink some of the Sliabh Liag whiskies and gin made at Ardara distillery. All served at Nancy's Bar. We had a delightful week's stay!

We had a lovely stay in Elias Cottage. It is stylishly furnished, comfortable and homely. We especially enjoyed the turf fires and the beautiful views from the living room upstairs. The host was extremely helpful and was available whenever we needed her.

This was one of our favorite places! Unfortunately our schedule was jam packed so we didn’t get a chance to really unwind and enjoy the space as much as I should have planned. The farm was wonderful for the kids and a different experience than any air bnb’s we’ve been to before. Edel and her husband were an absolute pleasure to meet - both so kind and hospitable. I hope to come back here again some day!

definitely a beautiful peaceful cottage, it is further from "tourist" places but it was exactly what we were looking for. a peaceful home away from home while in the country of Ireland. internet can be a bit spotty at times but we didn't mind disconnecting and enjoying some quality, phone free, time together.

We arrived in torrential rain and were met by the owner who quickly ushered us into the house which was warm and cosy, explained where everything was and kindly left us a lovely cake and milk in the fridge to settle us in. The house is exactly as described, comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Great to be able to sit out on the decking with a glass of wine after our daily travels and enjoy the view, peace & quiet. The only thing we couldn't find was a hairdryer, not sure if there was supposed to be one but it didn't matter as we all had short hair!! Our hosts were very friendly and great to have a chat to about where we were planning on visiting etc. Lots of amazing places to visit and the most beautiful beaches, so lucky with the weather during our stay...the rain came back when were were leaving. Would highly recommend staying here :-)

We stayed for 4 nights at Lurga Cottage and it was the perfect bolthole for the 4 of us. It's in a very quiet location but close to the airport and to the nearest town. Catherine has clearly put a lot of thought into the cottage; it is very comfortable and clean. The photos don't do it justice. Catherine was very helpful and had even left milk, bread and butter for us on arrival. We'll definitely be back.

Thank you for this great stay, Marie! We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house the entire time (14 days) and had everything we needed. There were problems with the refrigerator in between, which Marie and her family solved very quickly and kindly! The scones and freshly baked bread were also very welcome. The place is good for a small family (with toddler), even if the house is not directly oriented to it. The daily feeding of the cows right next door was a real highlight for our child. You definitely need a car, but in 15-60 minutes many beautiful places (and playgrounds) are easily accessible. Thank you and best regards!

Absolutely beautiful. The cottage was an amazing find. lots of character and the outdoor space was perfect for our three girls to run around in. Tracey was a great host and communications were excellent. would highly recommend.

Pats cottage is one of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed in, great communal spaces for cooking/dinner/games. The views are stunning and it’s great that there’s a pub next door also. Would highly recommend and currently trying to find an excuse to come back.
