Monthly Rentals in Rašćane Gornje

We felt so welcomed by our hosts at their beautiful, modern villa. It had everything we needed and the perfect amount of space for us (family group of five). The heated pool and large hot tub were perfect, as were the numerous outdoor seating spaces (enabling us to really enjoy the warm weather). Our hosts were very hospitable and were responsive to any questions that we had. They provided us with lots of information about the local places of interest including restaurants and also very generously brought us a home cooked meal of grilled fish with traditional side dishes and home produced wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to experience this part of Croatia. An excellent property with generous and hospitable hosts.

We were very happy with our stay. There were stairs to the beach, which was a nuisance at high temperatures, but it didn't take longer than 10 minutes. The view from the deck was insane! The rooms had everything you needed. Everything worked flawlessly. Plus the availability of cleaning supplies, paper, and towels if needed. Ozren and his wife are a very hospitable and lovable marriage. We were given gifts, for which we are very grateful. We highly recommend staying in Podgora ! See you soon

If we could give this place 6 stars, we would. We had planned on staying 2 nights but ended up staying five because it was perfect for us - peaceful, beautiful surroundings, and the kindest and most responsive hosts you could ask for. It’s a great place if you are looking to disconnect and relax, a nice kitchen if you like to cook. Beds were super comfy too. There is also incredible hikes you can do an hour away. Anka’s parents offered us delicious veggies from their garden and helped light a fire when it got cold. Would happily come again :)

A traditional house that has been gorgeously renovated in a modern style. Loved the rocky walk to the house and the fact that it is built into the hill with outside stairs between floors. Spacious bedroom with shower room, air conditioner and sea view. Mini oven and induction hob in the kitchen, everything we needed to cook proper meals. We even baked bread! There was even a mini dishwasher. The house is 300 metres above sea level so sunset views are incredible. You can see to Brǎc and Hvar. We flew to Split, got the airport shuttle bus to the bus station (€10 each) and then coach to Makarska from there (€10 each + €2 for our bag). Stipe was able to collect us in Makarska and take us to the house as it is a few kilometres. It is worth it for the views and privacy, you can sunbathe/find shade throughout the day, surrounded by ruins/trees/mountains. I cannot recommend Stipe’s place enough. He will look after you. Just take into consideration that there’s a steep walk from the car park.
