I can in every way recommend renting a room in Thiago's apartment. The room and the whole apartment were much more luxurious than you can see in the pictures. You get the feeling that a professional interior designer has designed everything. Before I arrived, I felt a little worried about sharing the apartment with Thiago and an unknown guest who rented another room, but both the contact with Thiago and the other guest was something that in the end really gilded my time in Bondi. The bedroom was perfect with an incredibly comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need: coffee machine, smoothie mixer, oven, kettle and toaster. The bathroom was super fresh and the fact that Thiago was just installed an outdoor jacuzzi in the garden was a big bonus as the evenings start to get colder. Thiago is friendly and care in a professional way. I felt that he has a good ability to see and leave room for peace and quiet for those guests who want that.

Our stay at Thiago‘s apartment was great. Thiago is very friendly, open for conversations. He goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home. His house has also a very nice garden, shaded by amazing flowers and trees, making garden a nice spot to chill even on very hot&sunny days. Recommend fully to anyone arriving in Bondi Beach and want to have a smooth start with a true local on their side!

Michael went above and beyond before, during and after my stay. He arranged a secure car space for me which made my life a lot easier. Sydney that night was very hot and wet but the aircon in the room sorted that out very quickly. My only regret is I didnt take some photos of the front of the house, it was picturesque. Check in and out was seamless. The area is full of historic homes with a beautiful charm. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed at Petra’s place in Sydney for 11 nights and everything went absolutely smoothly. We arrived quite late at night, but there were no issues with the check-in and the process was quick and easy. Petra’s home has a great vibe – we felt like at home and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and nicely prepared. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transport, and the neighborhood around the house is beautiful. We can definitely recommend Petra as a host – even though we didn’t see each other much, she was always kind and friendly. Once again, thank you so much for the lovely stay!

I liked staying there. The photos of the room shows different furniture, but the room did have everything I needed. House itself is as described, so a bit older. It was welcoming, and Petra kept everything clean overall. There were some cockroaches around. The whole house, including my room, was uncomfortably hot when we hit 37°C, but on an average day, the temperature inside was fine despite no AC. Shower temperature was quite erratic but manageable. Location was overall quiet with the exception of one night during which there was a house party next door; Petra said this is out of the ordinary. As other guests remarked, the house is a bit out of the way: access to public transit is ok, but make sure to factor in a bit of extra time. Petra was a good host who gave clear instructions. She was kind about me having created a bit of a scheduling disaster, and very accommodating regarding my check-in and check-out, for which I'm very grateful. I would stay here again. Great value!
