“The Wolf Den is perfect for those looking for comfort near Mt. Rainier. We spent two days in the park, including one day camping at Cougar Rock. It was awesome to come back from a long day of hiking to a clean and comfy place. All the things you need are provided! From a warm shower, heaters/fans, to cooking ware. Wifi worked great. Lots of tips in their guidebook as well. We couldn’t ask for more. Check in and check out was super easy. Stay here for your Mt. Rainier getaway!”
Our original 1960's A-frame cabin is nestled (a literal stone's-throw) between the Cowlitz River and Coal Creek...surrounded by unobstructed river and mountain views within beautiful National Forest. The feeling of being here can only be understood by experiencing it!
“This cabin was so beautiful, both inside and out! The river was so lovely to listen to at night and we were so conveniently located to central Packwood. Like other reviewers said, it can get hot at night so make sure to utilize the fans provided. It was our first time staying in an A-frame cabin and hopefully it won't be the last!”
Lovely cabin for your next vacation gateway to Mount Rainier&White Pass Ski Area. Plenty of activities to explore&enjoy nearby during the day. Come back to relax in our spacious hot tub and share stories next to a cozy fire-pit.
“Beautiful cabin, great location! Worth every cent. Like to cook after your hike? This is the place for you. Like to relax and watch TV, sit near a fire, take a nice shower, and/or chill in a hot tub after a long day of exploring Mount Rainier? This is also the place for you! Packwood being 5 min away has about everything you need, as well. This'll be the first place I look up next time I travel down! Also, the beds....slept like a baby.”
