Mary’s beautiful space is now one of my faves. The beautiful garden is so peaceful and green. The space is immaculate and Mary provides so many thoughtful touches. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. Thank you for having me again.

Nice private getaway in the cosy terracotta cottage. Lots of beautiful peacocks around, nice view and looking at stars from the warmth of the jacuzzi on a cold night was a highlight.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was ideal for myself, my partner and our dog. The accomodation was perfect. Very clean, spacious and relaxing, with everything we needed. The resident horses were very friendly and came over to say hello each day. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed yard, which was surrounded in beautiful scenery. The location couldn’t be better. It was far enough out of town to enjoy the serenity, but also had multiple towns and villages within 15 minutes drive, including Black Head (quieter) and Forster/Tuncurry (large town). Helen was an excellent host - friendly and helpful. She left us a complimentary breakfast basket in the fridge which was a nice touch, and she was able to give us lots of local recommendations, particularly for dog friendly places. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. Lastly, great value for money. I would stay again if I’m back in the area. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough!

This is my 2nd time staying at Alan & Helen’s place. Great location walking distance to the beach, really peaceful, everything you need plus little added extras. Would recommend and would stay here again.
