Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Raiatea

We had an amazing 3-night stay with Nicolas & Honey. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, with plenty of relaxing spots like hammocks and beach chairs. The private beach is just steps away, and the view of the water from the kitchen and back porch was incredible. The property felt very secluded and peaceful, with friendly dogs and well-kept grounds. A huge plus was the A/C — not common everywhere and made for super comfortable nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, which made things easy since there aren’t many dining options on the island. Laundry was also convenient. Nicolas was an awesome host — he offered to take us snorkeling on his boat and gave us a tour of his nearby vanilla farm. Both he and Honey were welcoming, kind, and respectful of our space. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back if we get the chance!

Place was private, quiet, very spacious, and absolutely beautiful. Having a private deck over the water with crystal clear water to snorkel and kayak in was more than we could as for. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying here.

This bungalow is located on what I would call the nicest property on the island. It’s exactly as advertised and on the best section of the Taha’a close to a few good restaurants / bars. A vehicle is necessary for bombing around. I would recommend contacting Taha’a Location for a water taxi service directly from the Riatea Airport which will get you right to their property on Taha’a where you can grab a car or scooter. The wifi and service is spotty around the the bungalow but that’s what you get on a sleepy island like Taha’a I guess! Book this place, book an excursion to snorkel at the coral garden, swim with the sharks and go live your lives. Vatea is a helpful host as well who made sure the place was ready well ahead of the check in time and quickly answered questions we had. Thanks for the memories and good luck!🤩

Probably one of the best places I have stayed at. Alizee was amazing with all the helpful tips and friendly atmosphere. I felt like I was home. I will definitely be coming back for the view and friendliness.

Thank you for the comfort, cleanliness and small touches in the accommodation. Spectacular sunsets. Wonderful lagoon and swimming. Great location in front of the motu accessible by kayak provided.

Our family stayed here before we went on our chartered boat and it was the perfect spot to relax, especially after being in Pape’ete for a day. We were able to walk to town to eat and to got to the grocery store. The view from the house was amazing, full view of the ocean, and the whole property was peaceful and comfortable. The host was very helpful with transport recs and very flexible with checkin and checkout times. I highly rec staying in this lovely lodge.

We loved our stay with Cathy. The house is very nice. Time was not on our side so we couldn't kayak to the motu proposed by our host. The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well-equipped. The garden, terrace and dock are very well appointed. The house is well secured. The many trailers and shops are nearby. In the evening, rays and black spotted sharks (harmless) pass in front of the bungalow. A real show!!! In short, nothing but compliments about this place and this hostess.

We had a lovely stay with family in this faré. The place is peaceful and relaxing and Alex and Emile are very responsive to requests (thank you again for the cooler!).

Anna is very kind, the apartment was amazing, very clean. The beds, sheets, towels, everything, a very nice aroma. From my bedroom I could see my children playing and swimming in the pool. There's a magnificent jacuzzi. My children had dinner with Anne and her husband, both very friendly and the food was exquisite. Breakfast was the best, the food was a mix between Tahiti and France. Waking up in the morning was magnificent, with a beautiful sunrise that I could see from my room and the balcony. There are beds on the seashore to rest, plenty of space for a lot of people. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, which is perfect because it's sometimes very hot in Polynesia. Perfect internet access. A silence and tranquility where we could hear the sea all the time and that kept me very relaxed. Important point, this pension also rents cars and this is very practical. The guesthouse is very close to the airport and with many restaurants and pizzerias nearby. We'll be back soon.

Great host! we stay unfortunately just for 1 night but it was a great experience. we arrived early in the morning and even if the check in time was in the afternoon we stayed in the private beach, having great breakfast and using all the host facilities. dinner was also great! last but not least, price is really good!

Close to the airport and downtown Raiatea. Benjamin was available for us. He recommended us and booked our taxi. The wifi didn't work. He tried to help us remotely.

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

One of those places where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. An unforgettable stay for the whole family that will remain long as oustanding souvenir. Kids loved jumping in the water from the pier just across the road, easy ride to the shop by bike to get a fresh baguette in the morning, and so much to see and do around the island! You can go there eyes closed for a great stay, we would love to come back some time in the future!

The place was very clean, functional and secure Fabien informed me by phone about access to the accommodation. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to enjoy the bikes and kayaking. It will be for another time.

gregorie and anais are very welcoming, easily do a service. very nice view from its garden on the motus and borabora. the grocery store next door is convenient. i recommend it 100%.

the space was just what we were looking for! simple accomodation at a fair price. we just wanted an air conditioned bed to sleep in after many hours of travel, and this perfectly fit that need. Not a fancy resort property, but absolutely worth the lower price if not in need of a higher end accomodation. Hinanui was amazingly responsive and accommodating. He was quick to reply to any and all communication, and very flexible on arrival timing. Great host!
