Arty Retreat

Stay was great. We had wonderful time at queenstown. Very close to the airport and cafes, restraunts etc. Jade was very flexible and available on chat when needed.

Good accommodation in a good location for our family of 5. Walking distance / short drive to town and good location for being able to get to the ski slopes. Ged was always helpful and responsive. We had a great holiday.

Bus stop is just in front of place and we have traveled to city and other places easily. 2. All kitchen accessories help us to cook at home and bbq was awesome. 3. David’s place was amazing. Spotless and very high spec. Huge windows in all rooms look on to the mountains, even the shower. 30s down the steps and you’re on the lakeside trail. Parking is a little tight but not problematically so. We loved it and would recommend.

The best Airbnb we had during our 12 days road trip in Christchurch. Perfect for families with children even as they had a theatre room and board games. The view was stunning and with the hot tub in this weather, there was nothing more we can ask for. The fireplace was not listed with it but it would be great once it is working especially during the colder seasons. The kitchen was very well equipped. Just be careful when parking as the slope outside the garage was too steep for us to park but there were many roadside parking available. The only downside to this beautiful house was the stairs. We had to carry our 10 huge luggages up the stairs to the main house and up another flight in the house to the bedrooms. But trust me, this house is worth it.

A cozy gas fireplace is nestled between the windows, accompanied by stylish leather armchairs and a patterned fabric chair. A central wooden coffee table is placed on a soft area rug.

we had an excellent stay at the Bay House. everything is as pictured— beautiful furnishings, spacious, super clean, uncluttered. the location also cannot be beat with the lake just across the road and an easy walk into town. there was plenty of room for the three of us, the kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer came in handy after going on rainy/muddy hikes. it was rainy a few days during our visit to Queenstown but we did not mind spending time indoors at this home playing board games and reading. highly highly recommend!

Our favourite accommodation of our NZ trip, everything was excellent! I can't decide if my favourite feature was the super comfortable bed and linen, the heated bathroom floor or the sensor light for the bathroom! Carolyn was great with communication and very helpful. Highly recommended, we will definitely stay here if visiting this area again.
