We stayed at Adam’s for 4 nights and kind of wish we’d stayed longer. The apartment is perfectly located and easily walkable to the main shopping streets, Circular Quay and Chinatown. It has access to light rail and ferries within only a couple of minutes walk, great views across Darling Harbour and is surrounded by so many restaurant and cafe options, it was hard to choose! The photos probably don’t do the apartment justice - it seemed bigger in ‘real life’ and the outdoor terrace was so spacious. Everything you could possibly need for an extended stay was there, including the fully equipped kitchen and laundry.

To put it simple — best Airbnb experience that you can have. Very clean place, close to the park & groceries (Tramsheds, a real gem!), and easy access to the city with 5 mins bus station. Friendly & responsive hosts with a very clear instructions on everything. Thanks John & Aki!

We stayed in Katya’s apartment for a bit over a month and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Her place is only two blocks from Darlington Harbor. There’s a surprisingly large family market on Harris street, one block away. Further up Harris, you’ll find coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. We walked almost everywhere. But, there are buses, trains and ferries nearby for when you’re tired, or it’s raining. Katya’s place feels like a home, with comfy couches and paintings on the walls. Large windows let copious light flood the living room. The bedroom is furthest from the street and quiet. Lots of closet space and room under the bed for your suitcases. The mattress is a bit stiff, which is our preference. The kitchen is well equipped and fully functional, with a full size fridge and a half size dishwasher. Lots of pantry storage, and plenty of utensils, glasses and crockery. Bottom line, if Katya’s place is available, book it. Next time we’re in Sydney, we will.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gwen’s place. Check-in was easy, and it’s only about 15 minutes from the airport so arriving and leaving was quick and easy. Place was very clean, with all the amenities we needed. She put a lot of effort into providing house instructions and local recommendations which was really nice. The aircon in the upstairs living room/kitchen area worked great, and we had easy access to streaming services on the TV which was a plus. Getting to the city centre was a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, and the ride took approx 20 minutes, so pretty good. My only minor complaints are that the rooms got a tiny bit warm on some nights (there are fans in both rooms but sometimes they struggled if it was humid), and the pillows didn’t quite suit me (one was too soft, the other was too hard) but that’s really just a minor personal gripe. Overall, the place was really good, we’d recommend it to anyone!

We had a very pleasant stay in this attractively decorated, clean and uncluttered studio apartment. We enjoyed a well appointed kitchen, and a comfortable bed. The highlight of our stay were incredible night and early morning views of the city from wherever you stood in the apartment with views to the harbour bridge. A good location close to the city attractions and harbour and surrounds.

Comfy and clean apartment in a very central and convenient location. Lots of nearby options for dining - from neighborhood joints to fanciers restaurants - and main attractions nearby. Very convenient for attending events at the ICC, and I appreciated the numerous hangers, and the iron + steamer to get my work outfits dewrinkled after the trans Pacific flight! The fitness room feels outdated, but I just opted for outdoor runs/workouts instead. I would definitely try to stay there again.

Great value! Very grateful for Al’s extensive info, clear instructions and little extras and especially the early check in and offer for late check out or complimentary luggage storage. Saving you min $24-30 or more… Daughter appreciated the fruit lollies on my behalf. Thanks so much for the juice boxes. The toothbrushes, toothpaste and tissue boxes were all such lovely touches. Great location. Compared to plenty other places (official motels/hotels), we appreciated it and didn’t expect external CBD sounds to be quiet… we slept well regardless. Very comfy bed. Bed is placed high, to help with mattress aeration perhaps? Sydney can be humid. Might too high for those with mobility issues and less than 5ft3. We loved the views and opportunity to rest in the cool out of the humid heat.
