Very nice discovery that this unusual new cottage is super well equipped, in a peaceful and beautiful location. Communication with Florian is easy, and we really enjoyed having access to local products (wines, cheese, ham, etc.) directly in the cottage upon arrival. The spa is really nice, and the home cinema is great! We highly recommend this listing!

We were delighted with our stay. The house and its surroundings are perfect for those who want to enjoy nature while staying close to the city. This stone mansion retains all its period charm, while having been completely renovated and modernized with high quality amenities. The hospitality was excellent, with a perfectly maintained garden and a clean and warm house. We highly recommend this lodge to any family wishing to enjoy the many activities offered in the surrounding valleys.

Very nice stay with friends! Everything is done to have a good time: swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, games available. The rooms are cozy and the place is very quiet. Communication with Martin and Marion was very fluid and the range of services offered is very wide: taxi, massage, delivery of pastries and bread… The evening meal prepared by Martin was excellent. a very good welcome from Lizzie, we immediately felt very good. The garden is beautiful (and fenced for our dog), an amazing starry night without light pollution, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. The house is comfortable and very clean. Lizzie and her husband are in the house next to, we meet them very little, they are very discreet. 10 minutes away you can stock up on groceries in Ogeu, people are very friendly. 30-40 minutes from the Benou plateau, great place to go hikes or a little further Laruns if you want higher hikes. When it rained, we went to visit Oloron and Pau, which are not far away. In short, we had a lovely week of family vacation. I highly recommend it!

Very good welcome at home, with a surprise in the fridge. Indeed, this family home is not an Ikea accommodation, and we felt at home, with the heat of the stove, the mountain, the view, Patou the cat, (very affectionate), the passage of chickens at the bottom of the garden... and the village within walking distance. Anyway, we'll be back.

We had a pleasant stay at Sharon's . Very nice typical Basque house, very well equipped with very good quality materials. We were hosted very well by Matteo, who gave us good advice on things to do in the corners since he is from the region . Walking distance to the center of Espelette is a plus to discover this beautiful city . The exteriors are a big plus with its beautiful terrace and lawn area overlooking the river which allows you to enjoy the beautiful sunny days. I highly recommend this house , nothing is missing but to enjoy!!!! Thanks to Sharon 😉

Wonderful stay. We arrived relatively late and were greeted by the hosts who gave us a brief tour despite the hour. They kindly warmed the house with a fire roaring in the stove, where an authentic farm table and cozy setting set the tone for our stay. It was there where we found plenty of games and books to pass the time, and where we gathered around the table for authentic French dinner prepared in the small kitchen. The house is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and all your basic kitchen needs. Instructions were clearly spelled out in the "welcome" binder, and WiFi connection was strong enough to communicate with family back home and even stream videos at the end of the day. There's plenty of area to have your own space, since rooms are staggered between two floors. Our favorite part was the outside patio overlooking the manicured lawns where birds sang from the treetops. Owners David and Julia were very responsive and communicative to all our requests. Highly recommend!

Matheo's home has been perfect for spending our week with the family. Quiet place, with views, beautiful and a very cheerful house, with lots of light and very easy to live in. Matheo, he is lovely, he has given us many tips and has lent us material to be able to make the most of everything. Definitely a super recommended place!!! Thank you Matheo!!!

We had a great week at this house surrounded by the mountains. The view is absolutely beautiful and the location, surrounded by nature, is ideal for relaxing. The stars at night were breathtakingly beautiful! The decor gives an authentic charm to the house, it creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed being able to disconnect from our screens and take full advantage of tranquility and nature. A perfect stay that we would recommend without hesitation! We'll be happy to go back 😊

Spacious and bright house in a very pleasant environment even in winter! Very functional kitchen that allows for nice family gatherings. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable bedding which allows everyone to rest well and isolate themselves if necessary. Sebastien's tips made our stay easy. We highly recommend this listing.

We've been renting a house through Airbnb with a couple friends and our kids for nearly 10 years. Marie's house is one of our favorites! Very clean, very comfortable, it is fully equipped (they live there) which allowed us to enjoy 100% of our stay in this small village very peaceful, but central to visit the Basque coast and the villages inland. House is very beautiful. Lovers of decoration, you will have enough to satisfy your eyes. Finally, what makes this house a gem is resolutely all the small "details" that make life easier: an outdoor hot shower, a covered space in the garden allowing lunch in the shade with a large plancha, a secluded bedroom space from the living room, several sunbeds and hammocks, a large garden... Young and old loved it, as life was sweet and suitable for all. Special mention for Mary's welcome, her smiles, kindness, attention and responsiveness!

We had a wonderful stay, Delphine and her husband are very welcoming, the accommodation has more than necessary in terms of amenities, the outdoor area is very nice and peaceful, no noise, perfect quiet place to relax. Ideal location close to all the places of interest on the Basque coast (cities to visit, beaches within 15 minutes, Spain, etc.). We would definitely stay again and can only recommend this place :)

Idyllic! It's the ideal place... surrounded by greenery, calm and silence. The accommodation is impeccable and full of comfort. The bed is super comfortable, the kitchen is super well-equipped, it has a lot of light... we felt right at home
