We asked a lot of questions about the surrounding activities and our host was extremely good advisor: beautiful walk in the snowy Leivonmäki National Park (Joutsaniemi) , swimming and sauna at Jyväskylä Scandic Laajavuori etc...

The four of us stayed in Reijo's beautiful wooden cabin for a week in mid to late Sept. - and our expectations were far exceeded. Reijo, the host, picked us up at the bus station in his car, which was incredibly helpful. On our arrival, he showed us around the hut, which he built himself with a lot of love and dedication. You can feel this personal touch in every detail. The hut is equipped with all the essentials and we were also given Wi-Fi on request. However, I can only recommend enjoying your time there without internet to really switch off. Activities & surroundings The location on the lake is fantastic! We had access to two rowing boats, two SUPs and even a pedal boat, which we used to explore the lake every day - it's really worth discovering the area from the water. The rest of the time we spent on the jetty, in front of the cosy fireplace in the evening or in the sauna. Reijos Cottage is a place to relax, switch off and enjoy - at any time of year!

We had a very successful winter break at the property. Everything worked as it was supposed to. We enjoy the tranquility of nature and the winter lake scenery. The fireplace and sauna were wonderfully atmospheric in the home. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. We'll definitely be back to this lovely place!
