You will begin with slow yoga poses that warm up and stretch the body. We build the class into a dynamic flow infused with mindfulness, breathwork, and optional advanced postures. The class always ends with a soothing savasana and a grounding meditation. You will meet Virginia (or Emily) on the beach in front of El Be! Club. El Be is closed on the street side in the mornings, please walk to an Alameda #7 sign to guide you past a restaurant called Waffle Monkey, and you'll see the class setting up in between Portofino & The Ocean restaurants. We practice yoga on a flat, shaded space on the beach. We always have enough yoga mats (and some extras) and individual brooms for you during class. Also included: We can take photos of you or your group after class! We always take a timelapse of the class that we will email you (within 48 hours) if you like. Produciendo Café en el Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde
When our visitors arrive at the Sanctuary, the first thing we will do is make a small introduction about our family project, we are guardians of 48 hectares of forest since 1999. During the walk to the plantation, we will talk about the history of coffee in the world and Costa Rica, and then explain on the plantation what permaculture consists of and sustainable farming versus monocultures. Also, learning about specialty coffee and the different ways of processing and finish with a visit to the drying area. On the way back you will have a coffee tasting in three different roasts and methods and each participant will learn how to prepare their own coffee in the proper way. In the end you will learn: how to be a more informed and smart buyer, make the most of the product and value the work behind each cup of coffee. Other things to note We are the only specialty organic coffee plantation in Monteverde. During the year coffee goes through different stages, therefore, depending on the season you will see different processes.

Pico Blanco Waterfall and Nature Hike
This guided hike begins in the mountain-top town of San Antonio, Escazú. We'll meet at "Terminal de buses El Curio" to begin the hike. Throughout the hike, we will get to see many types of butterflies, spot some interesting birds, learn a lot about Escazú's history, all while enjoying of the stunning views that this area has to offer. Part one of this hike will take us to the peak of Cerro Pico Blanco, which has a maximum elevation of 7450 ft. Here we will take some photos, and enjoy the scenery while we catch our breath before descending towards part two of the hike, Waterfall Rio Londres. Once there, you are welcome to swim, take some pictures or simply just sit back, eat a snack, and enjoy the landscape. Afterwards, we'll make our way down the mountain, stopping from time to time so that I can point out interesting things or share fun facts about the surrounding nature. Located just a short distance from the city of San José, this is one of the best ways to experience the natural surroundings of the country without having to travel too far. Pico Blanco is known for having the most beautiful views of the Central Valley, since it's the biggest mountain in the Escazú area. Jungle Hike to Giant Waterfall
Just 5 minutes from the center of town you can move from the beach to the tropical rainforest. As easy as literally crossing the Street, doing this you will enter the Kekoldi indigenous territory. You’ll have secure parking from where the hike starts. 5 minots in, you’ll begin diving into the rainforest. First crossing an old cacao farm. Then you’ll pass three humble huts of indigenous families. One hour in you'll be in the depth of the forest. Some trees with more than 200 years of safeguarding these territories. This jungle has species of plants and shrubs with healing properties. A wide variety of palms such as chonta and suita that provide materials for the construction of the traditional Bribri house. About 2 hours in you’ll be approaching our great surprise. Descend to the KEKOLDI river. Follow the river, until we encounter an imposing 45 meters high waterfall. Here enjoy swimming and appreciating the tropical jungle at this secret and remote place. After enjoying and delighting in this breathtaking place it’s time to head back to the start. We will be walking in the jungle so you might get some mud on your shoes. And if it's raining we will still get mud so don't let a rainy day stop us. Total distance is 10km. For some people the hick could be a challenge.
Snorkel Sailing Sunset Adventure
Departing from the beach in Tamarindo at 1:30 pm you will enjoy a four and one half hour (4 1/2) hour sail along Costa Rica's spectacular coastline in one of the purpose built catamarans found within the Marlin del Rey Sailing Tours fleet - the 66 foot Marlin del Rey, the 65 foot New Marlin or the 65 foot Marlin Tres.  All are open and spacious which allows our passengers to comfortably enjoy the blue water views of the glorious Costa Rican coastline with its pristine beaches and verdant jungles from the bow trampolines, lounge on the roof deck, man the wheel with the captain or relax, one of the oversized tables found in the shaded area of the main salon and ultimately experience one of the brilliant Costa Rican sunsets. Upon departing Tamarindo we will leisurely sail along the Gold Coast will searching for and hopefully observing some of the vast, abundant and varied sea life found along our shores.  Some of the sea life we hope to encounter includes whales, dolphins, turtles, flying fish, rays and a wide variety of sea birds.  If conditions permit we will also throw a few fishing lines off the back in the hopes of hooking into one of the many game fish that ply our waters. Kayak in bioluminescent waters
This kayak experience is not to be missed. What appears to be normal dark water, will light up WHEN YOU TOUCH IT. As the night grows dark, we'll step into our comfortable kayaks and get ready for a personal encounter with this remarkable phenomenon. We will lead you to the best spots, where sparkling algae accumulates. For a full hour, you will be enchanted by how every stroke of your paddle leaves behind a swirl of light, and fish light up their path like shooting stars in the water. The more YOU splash the water the more bioluminescent light you will experience. You are in command, the algae will NOT glow on its own, you have to ACTIVATE it with YOUR hands or the paddle. Come a bit early to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the bay and a nice cup of Costa Rican coffee, juice, and some snacks. You'll get a briefing, a suitable life jacket, before we go to the launch area for the kayaks. It will be like going on a cozy family tour, as the maximum group size is 10 people. We'll stop along the way, and explain more about the magical glowing water and marine life in the bay. When we return to the beach, fresh water and towels will be available, as well as bathroom facilities, if needed Other things to note The tour is fine for beginner-level kayakers. Hanging Bridges, Waterfalls, and Cultural Lunch Experience
Head out in our 4x4 vehicle to a unique community forming a cooperative for eco sustainable tourism. Enjoy a leisurely like through the local trails while learning about the local flora and fauna. Cross one of the highest hanging bridges in the country and enjoy a refreshing dip in a 120 foot waterfall deeply hidden in primary rainforest. After cooling off in the waterfall, we will hike up to the home one of the founders of the cooperative and enjoy a special lunch with our friend Doña Corona in her quaint home. This is an opportunity to really connect with the culture and an extraordinary woman whose food is cooked with so much love over a wood burning stove. Step into her kitchen for a hands on lesson making the best tortillas of your life! Explore her medicinal garden, sample some local fruits, learn about the campesino lifestyle through her stories, and afterwards join an interactive experience of pressing sugar cane with a traditional sugar mill or Trapiche. This experience is excellent for families, couples, friends, and solo travelers!
Party Bus Sunday Funday - Beach & Pool Crawl from Tamarindo
The Famous Beach and Pool Crawl is Tamarindo's oldest and longest running Bar Crawl! Everyone meets at El Be! Tamarindo beach club every Sunday for a pre-party between 12:00-1:00pm. Once you had a few beers and mingled with fellow crawlers you make your way on an old American school bus and we head on out to the coast. Tunes are blasting and you get to know your neighbors as you drive out of town to explore 3 amazing secret spots. There are pool parties with a DJ, beautiful beaches and amazing cocktails and food, with live entertainment, and you end the epic day watching the sunset with your new friends with a blazing beach bonfire in the background. The party doesn’t stop at sunset! The bus ride back is the best dance party and the highlight of the day. We have room for 50 crawlers each week and often sell out so please ensure to book ahead! Other things to note We do not accept cancelations. Tour is approximately 7hrs. Feel free to bring drinks to drink on the bus, but they cannot be consumed in the bars. Surfing Uvita with a local
We will meet in Surfing Uvita, here we will decide which board is better, depending on your size, weight, and experience. Then we will go to the beach where I will start explaining all the rules of safety and ethics for surfing. Then I will explain step by step all the movements, how to position ourselves in the surfboard, which is the correct way to paddle and how to stand on the surfboard. After that, we are going to practice the movements for a few minutes until you get on your feet in a natural and easy way on the surfboard. Once we are ready we will start surfing the white waves or foam. The lesson lasts two hours and halfway through the lesson, we will take a short break to drink coconut water. Other things to note This activity is perfect for any person that is older than 6 years old. Please don't eat before the lesson
