One may hang out in our screened reading hut or lay in a hammock under the mango tree. The options are yours.
“Maria's place is lovely, like a little a botanical garden. Wonderfully situated only a short distance from both the airport and town, on a quiet property aside from the hustle and bustle, it'll never take you long to get to anywhere you need to go (unless you're headed for El Nido). If you arrive and have no concrete plans, make sure you speak to Maria. She will be able to help you arrange days out and places to go and may also be able to help you arrange a day trip cheaper than you can find online. So always talk to Maria first if you haven't booked anything! There's also a little library on site so if you love to read a good book and forgot to take your own, you can pick one up from there. Aircon + fan in the rooms makes it super comfortable at night. Also, they have a driver which is mighty handy. If he's around he can drop you in town, at the airport or at the terminal for vans to El Nido, all for free! (although we gave him a little tip). Just give Maria a head's up. If you're staying in Puerto Princesa for 1 night or 1 week, I would definitely recommend staying at Maria's. And they do great pancakes for breakfast!”
ﾊﾞﾊｲにたけしい｡｡Bahay Ni Takeshi is a twin bedroom, private bathroom and terrace. The place is about 5-7 minutes from airport, department stores, market and coffee shops are near. Free pick-up and drop from airport upon arrival and departure.よろしく
“From the moment we booked the host was amazing she right away asked for my flight info and picked us up from the airport. The room was everything we needed with an adorable terrace !! Marife was nothing but helpful when it came to booking tours rides and providing info on cool spots to check out. Her place is less than 10 minute tricycle from airport and 5 minute walk from the bay and shops , even a craft brewery next door. Her gardens are beautiful and she makes great breakfast. Room is clean and bathroom is great, see stayed for 2 nights and they tideyed everything in between. Everything was 10/10. Highly recommend”
Felice Cafe is a vacation home located just on the outskirts of Puerto Princesa - far enough from town to have your peace and quiet, near enough to be in touch with the basics. It is a cozy cottage surrounded by coffee trees with friendly dogs on the property. Enjoy your morning in the balcony where you can enjoy the green with the sound of birds, take a midday dip in the pool, drink coffee by the coffee trees and an open kitchen where everyone is welcome to cook and dine.
“Steve's place was amazing! We booked into felice cafe for New year's eve, and it was just gorgeous. The house itself is beautiful, with a beautiful view across the balcony, and an amazing little pool which you share with Steve and his girlfriend. Whilst we were there he was away with friends so we had the place to ourself. It was lovely and romantic and Rhona, his housekeeper, was attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. We felt really welcome. The whole place was perfectly maintained, and extremely clean. It's set back from the main road which means it's lovely and private, and super quiet (apart from new years eve videoke, but hey, we're in the Philippines what can we expect?) The location was great. A tricycle to the airport was only 80 pesos, and there's a reasonable bike rental shop just across the road. We decided to ride to el nido, and so Steve and rhona allowed us to leave our bags there to collect at a later date. Their hospitality was outstanding. It was truly faultless and fantastic value for money. If we are ever in puerto again this is definitely where we'll stay!”
