Punta Palapa: Loft # 1

Juan LuisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at the house! It's very comfortable and really nice. We had the opportunity to meet the owners and their girls and they were very kind and nice! On the other hand, Cesar was always attentive and gave us the best service. We are grateful and we will definitely be back, highly recommended!

Casa Nopal - Private Pool, Chic, Steps from Beach

AsalRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fellow NYers here. Larry and Diego provided very clear instructions. Diego also was kind enough to help us hire a driver when the buses from Oaxaca were not able to pass through the new high way (it seems the bus company Ado was not paying the local communities their due fees so they weren’t allowing any of the buses to pass). The place is so peaceful with a nice breeze passing through on the second floor. The only con is there was an ant infestation in one of the kitchens / living rooms but we fixed the problem with bug spray. The rooms upstairs had no issues. Just keep in mind there is a lot of wild life so manage your expectations. Highly recommend!

We loved the apartment. Margarita and her team were always responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our time staying in Puerto Escondido. The location was excellent (literally 2min walk to the beach). We spent most of our time at the beach, but the shared pool was also a great place to relax. Sunsets were stunning & great food & local atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Casa Teo - Puerto Escondido - Oaxaca - Green Paradise

MisheeltRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A perfect place to recharge. Despite it being fully open air, it didn’t feel hot at night. It’s super close to the beach, and it’s not as populated as the other playas so you don’t have to fight for a spot. Stefan put a lot of attention to detail, I felt really safe and serene staying here. I didn’t stay long enough to try Juanita’s cooking, but there is a cook who can prepare breakies and lunches if you plan ahead. The only downside is it’s a little far from the main town so if you wanna visit the other playas i’d recommend renting a car or a bike, because taxis had a hard time finding the place. But if you don’t really see the need to go to centro or the other playas, frankly you have everything at Casa Teo. Oh last thing to add, i believe it’s not an isolated instance (there was construction everywhere) but there’s construction on all three sides of Casa Teo, i woke up at 6am but right at 8am all the construction noises start.

KarinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Everything is very good, from arrival until we retired, the host as well as the people who work with him were very friendly. He has everything you need to have a good time and above all comfort, my daughters were more than happy in the pool since it is very nice, the Internet is very fast, my husband had to connect to together and everything well, he only inconvenient and not so much would be an opinion was that the pool was full of insects and little children but we take them out and everything super... In reality everything is beautiful, we will return without hesitation...

10 minutes walk to a/c all private

StacyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Stay here and enjoy the sweet slow life of puerto in a sun filled local stay! We had a lovely stay at Sylvia’s place. We have been in Mexico for 6 weeks and this has been by far our favorite stay. We both had the best nights of sleep so far on our trip, very quiet area and insulated walls. The pictures don’t do the place justice- it is very cute, especially the outdoor area filled with plants and sunlight. Two friendly cats come by each day and enjoy basking in the sun outside, they clearly have picked the right spot! It is a bit of a walk to the beach but we enjoyed being outside of the normal tourist area and getting a glimpse into typical life in puerto. As remote workers, the WiFi worked great and allowed us to work without pause. We rented the motorbike from Oscar for 2 days and it was a cheap and easy way to get around to some of the further places. Sylvia is so kind and attentive, making our stay even sweeter. If we come back we will 100% stay here.

Casa MarBo area with ocean view (not oceanfront)

EugeniaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Edgar's house is beautiful, all the furniture and doors are parota, the pool is very well sized and always clean. It has a very functional outside bathroom with 2 showers which makes the bathroom easier when returning from the beach. The next door tent has very good tortillas and beans. You can walk your pets quietly why the area is quiet. The palapa is very cute and comfortable and has a mango tree that you can access. Edgar is quick to respond to messages and is very friendly. Very good recommendations of clean and beautiful beaches. The kitchen is very well equipped.

What a beautiful villa! We were blown away by the view and the pool area. A short walk or quick taxi to several beaches in the area. Quite spacious and plenty of sleeping capacity. There were some bugs around, but that just comes with the territory.

Casa Sol y Luna

Amy WolfsenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Casa Sol y Luna was the perfect place for 3 weeks of remote work to escape the PNW winter. The house had everything we needed and was minutes from the beach, great restaurants and boutique shops. There was a super cute local convenience store just two doors down! The property also has a bungalow and the family's personal space (including a sweet shop with local art/clothing), all areas were very private and separated. Roxel and her family were awesome! Full of great recommendations, support with anything we needed and gave excellent surf lessons! And just all around lovely people!

Open House

Jonathan LeempoelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
House opens very close to the beach, very nice with the trees surrounding it and the 2 pools available (our kids loved it). We loved the hammock for resting, the outdoor showers very nice and the sunsets visible from the terrace. Ana Carolina was very responsive and friendly. Listing cleaned every day. However, it takes a car to go to Zicatela or Puerto Escondido where restaurants/shops are located. We also hear a little bit of work in progress during the day all around the house but honestly it didn't bother us too much. A very nice place to have a good time.

Separate playground 3

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Staying at Eliazar and Gloria’s house is so very special to me. This is my second time around with them and that’s why I booked it. If you want a true Mexican stay, this is the place. They are both so kind and friendly, I consider them my family. As far as the location, it can’t be beat. You can walk everywhere, Carazalillo beach is right around the corner, I like to frequent Manzillilo beach because you can swim there and is a short walk of ten minutes. There is a tienda one block away where you can buy groceries and you can also walk to the Chedraui from the apartment and walk to el centro where there is a lot of stores and restaurants. The apartment is located right in the center of Rinconada where you can walk the strip of restaurants, stores to buy clothing, get your hair done, pharmacies and fresh produce markets. The porch is great, outdoor living with hammock to relax and read. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay! I can’t wait to come back—this place is a little paradise. It’s right on the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars, yet still very quiet and peaceful. The AC is a huge plus, and the internet worked perfectly, which was essential for me since I work remotely and start very early, when nothing else is open. I definitely recommend staying here and will absolutely return!

My stay at Casita Zayan was very peaceful and comfortable! Beautiful beaches are within enjoyable walking distance! Also plenty of great places to eat between the casa and Rinconada! A laundry is less than a block away! I even enjoyed walking to the open aire market in the center of Puerto Escondido! I love to be out and about but this airbnb was so comfortable and peaceful I enjoyed staying on the property, in the Casita or on the patio! All the trees kept it cool! I rate them the sweetest hosts! oh and the beds are comfortable!

We were very happy staying in Diego's place, the location was amazing (only short walk to nice beaches and great restaurants). The apartment was very spacious (even bigger than in the photos) and clean. The cherry on the top was the host, who was very helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend staying in this accommodation!
