Villacolle 1, Poggio a Caiano, Wifi, Ac

This house is a gem in the hills of Tuscany with stunning views of Florence. Wonderfully quiet and yet close to all amenities. The last part of the road to it is narrow for the first time, but you get used to that. The house itself is beautiful, lovely beds, nice and bright spaces and very clean. The kitchen is also equipped with all the comforts. Every detail has been thought of. The host is very thoughtful. We arrived at Easter and there was a typical Italian delicacy ready for us. The flexible arrival time and departure time was also very pleasant. We had a fantastic week. If we are in the area again, we will definitely book this house again.

Charming Cottage in the Heart of Tuscany

AndrewRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a beautiful area with easy access to Firenze (Florence). Christina was extremely helpful in advising on restaurants, making bookings, advising on where to go in addition to Florence … even where to park in places like Lucca. She was friendly and responsive. We even used the outdoor woodfired BBQ for cooking one night. My only advice, particularly for North American travellers used to wide roads … make sure you know what the road is like on the way to different restaurants. Some of the better ones are in hilltop villages with very narrow roads with stone fences … where if you meet a vehicle coming the other way you have to do a bit of reversing. Thanks so much to our hosts.

Luxury Villa on Chianti Wine Estate

StevenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful stay at the Villa among the vineyards in Panzano. Vicky, the host, is the owner of Le Fonti winery with the villa surrounded by their vineyards and olive groves. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. The town of Panzano is very cute. We bought groceries at the Coop and made breakfast each morning, gathering in the cozy well equipped kitchen. There is a courtyard immediately outside the doors of the villa with a large table, and again amazing views. Our time in the villa was so relaxing! Though we went to several wineries, a highlight was a very personal tour of the winery, wine making process and wines by Vicky at Le Fonti. She spent time discussing/pouring the different wines, even bringing over the same wine from different years to show us the difference the weather/grape stress influences the final taste. Overall exactly what we wanted from a Tuscan experience and really enriched by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host.

Villa Angiolina

We traveled with a family of 8 and this rental was more than we could have dreamed of. There was plenty of space with bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The grounds were luxurious, and we ordered the grocery service, so the kitchen accommodations were wonderful for breakfast and coffee. We enjoyed the welcome cocktail and evening pizza service as well. The host was extremely responsive to every request and helped us significantly with taxi service as well. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time! Thank you so much.

Tuscan Villa

Five friends made to feel very welcome to this beautiful spacious villa with a lovely pool set amongst olive groves. The scenery that surrounded us was beautiful. Invited to Mark's villa who shared his knowledge and history of the olive groves which was very interesting and the hospitality received was first class (vino and yummy bruschetta's). This was the perfect place to stay and would highly recommend.

Luxury Villa in the very heart of Chianti

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Historic home with exclusive pool

AylaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We (7 girlfriends) enjoyed the stay in the villa very much! The house, especially the front yard and pool, are wonderful. Maria is great! She has sent us a lot of tips about the area (also the necessary things, such as shopping). In addition, we were surprised with a very fine cake and if you needed anything, there was a very quick response. The villa is well equipped and the surroundings beautiful. There is plenty of parking. Only the potholes and the access to the villa are a bit challenging - but doable!

VILLA FONTE MORGANA WITH POOL

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Villa Fonte Morgana was a fantastic place to stay. We stayed there for a family vacation with 10 adults and five children under 7. The villa was spacious, the views were great, and it was close enough to Florence for easy access yet far enough away to feel peaceful. The host, Lorenzo, was super helpful whenever we needed something. Everything was clean and up to date.

Romantic Villa with private pool and fabulous view

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It felt like home from day one. The views are phenomenal; the garden is peaceful and fragrant. The kitchen is a delight to cook in. We walked into the beautiful village of Panzano multiple times (some hills which helped us burn off the pasta calories!). We didn’t want to leave.

Villa Cipresso 2.

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The location was very convenient to Firenze, but provided a wonderful countryside break from the cities we visited. It was wonderful to wake up in the middle of an olive orchard to birdsong. The beds were comfy and the towels large and thick. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 adults to spread out in the space. The train was an easy 5 minute walk with trains every 20 minutes to Firenze. We did call a cab to get us to the train with our luggage (and they came on time).

A beautiful place to stay close to Signa which has plenty of shops and 2 train stations.. it takes only 20 minutes to get in to the heart of Florence. The apartment is next to the main villa and is huge! The place was clean with comfy beds and a big dining table. Just a few more pots, pans & cooking utensils would have been great as we enjoy cooking together & quite a few of the restaurants in Signa were closed for the holidays. Lots of outdoor space and a lovely 5 minute stroll through the olive groves to the pool. Had a great stay.. thanks Massimo and Margaux 😊

Hadrian's Villa

Beautiful, clean cottage with swimming pool in front of the door. Do you pay 10 euros a day for the air conditioning, and it also worked very well. Authentic and charming, yet very clean and all amenities available. Even 2 bathrooms , a washing machine , dishwasher and accompanying soaps were available. Dish soap, sponge and 2 dish towels were also provided. And also very convenient were the extra pool towels for the pool! The accommodation is located 1 km from the stations of Signa and Lastra a Signa. Getting out are easy to do by train. Although we did find it useful to have a rental car to shop, other trips where the train does not come, and to go to restaurant, because the centers and restaurants of Signa and Lastra are a bit scattered. In itself one of the most beautiful and best in order accommodation from where I have ever been!
