Monthly Rentals in Praia do Burgau

Natalie was a fantastic host, very responsive, and answered all my questions beforehand. We stayed over Christmas, and while we worried about the cold, the air conditioning kept the apartment warm. However, the bathroom was chilly as the heating couldn’t be manually adjusted. The apartment's location and views are stunning, especially at sunrise. The furniture was mostly great, with indoor and outdoor tables, sun loungers, and extra towels provided. However, the sofa was stained and worn out, needing replacement. While towels were high quality, the toilet paper was thin and cheap. Cleaning was okay but not perfect—there was dust, dirty windows, and the kitchen required us to clean dishes, shelves, and wardrobes before use. The kitchen equipment was basic, with an damaged plastic cutting board. The building's entrance was messy, and noisy neighbors (screaming kids) disrupted our stay. Despite these issues, the experience was wonderful overall, and I would love to return. It was great!

I can’t say enough great things about Marta’s place and hosting ability. Gorgeous unit, spotless in every square inch. The hot tub was wonderful and ready. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great for families as it has space, the hammock, sun loungers & pool. The area was quiet and the apartments on either side were also rented by families. Although no great view, the apartment is very walkable to the cliff for views down onto the beach, walkable to the restaurants, grocery store & beach. Burgau is a charming small village with a bit of a “Santorini” feeling with the blue & white houses and lots of cute restaurants with great food & drinks. Perfect for a chilled holiday vibe. The apartment has all the amenities you could want but lacked a few of the kitchen necessities like bbq tongs, scissors, a peeler, a grater and it could do with a coffee table and an extra living room chair to make it feel cosy and enable you to play games or have drinks in the lounge area. Miguel was a great host - very responsive and anything that needed fixing was dealt with very timeously. He provided complimentary items like a bottle of wine, water, a bag of charcoal, etc… A good experience.

This apartment is in the perfect location in Burgau. It is just a minute away from the main square filled with tasty restaurants, with the beach and shop are not much further. Lisa was very responsive and left wood for the fire and some wine and snacks for our arrival.
