Amazing place for the winter or summer would love to come back again with the family

A very cozy cabin with a beautiful view. The fall colors were amazing.

We loved our stay! It is a great location, but there is a lot to do just on the property. It is a very clean and spacious home.

The house was immaculate and spacious for the 8 of us. Very comfy beds. We especially enjoyed the breakfast goodies gift they had waiting for us- pancake mix plus maple syrup and honey made on the property!

Margie and Chris were excellent hosts. The communication was great throughout. Clearly, things were thought through to make the guest experience as good as possible; extra pillows, blankets, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. They left pamphlets for the area sights to see, which was very helpful. The weather was hot the first night and cold the last night of my stay and Margie ensured that I was comfortable both nights - and even offered to bring over an extra heater on the cold night. It was a private, quiet place to spend some time, but there is also a lot to do around the area within reasonable driving distance - Connie’s Cafe, which is only 7 minutes away, is a must visit. There is also Dinosaur Gardens right across the street which was pretty cool. The sinkholes and Presque Isle lighthouses are about a 45 minute drive away but are worth the trip if you like scenic drives, lighthouses, nature and plenty of Lake Huron views. All in all, this was a five star stay. Thanks, Margie!

This house has everything we needed, and it was near Mackinac City. The house was affordable and very clean, the recommendations were beyond any I had ever seen at any other house . I would easily rent this house again. So much room for all of us and plenty of bathrooms. And CLEAN!!! Beautiful house and peaceful. I can’t say enough good things.

Our recent girls' weekend getaway at this sleepy little cabin in Cheboygan was nothing short of perfect! It was the ideal spot for a cozy, relaxing retreat with our moms and cousins, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful setting. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warmth and comfort of the cabin. The space was thoughtfully designed, making us feel right at home. The fireplace quickly became the heart of our stay—we spent hours watching the snow gently fall outside while staying toasty inside with blankets, hot drinks, and great conversation. It was exactly the kind of slow, peaceful escape we were looking for. The cabin had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to a well-equipped kitchen where we made snacks and shared meals. The quiet surroundings added to the charm, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy each other’s company without distractions. If you’re looking for a charming, peaceful retreat in Northern Michigan, this cabin is an absolute gem.

This was an excellent location and the place was so cute, cozy and clean! Thank you Cindy and Paul for your great hospitality and accommodating us for an extra night!
