The house is located 12.5 km from the center of Porvoo. The place is quiet and peaceful. The forest is stuck at the house. To the nearest swimming beach it is approx. 5 km. In the house there are many amenities. WC and bathrooms are newly renovated. In the bathroom there is an electric sauna. In the kitchen there is a microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. At your disposal are towels and beds.

If you'd like, you can also check out our small farm's numerous animals up close. In summer 2025, we offer small donkey tours for guests as an additional service! Additional information can be found in the text below. Along the forest path (1.5km), you can get to a lake with swimming (not suitable for small children). The lake does not have a common swimming beach so it is very peaceful.

Finnish cottage dream at its best! Right by the water, the hammocks climbs in the wind and in the direction of the evening sun. The cottage has all the amenities and very clean. The wooden sauna had a soft steam and the sandy bottom of the beach crowned the experience. And best of all, just an hour's drive to Helsinki! Thanks to the hostess!!

Great house for families with wonderful pool and sauna. Safe and beautiful environment with playground and beach nearby. Shops also accessible. Great vibe sitting outside on the patio in the evenings. Could easily stay another week here!

We have stayed at Pasi's place several summers now, and it starts feeling a bit like our "summer house" for our family vacations to Finland. Pasi is an excellent host, and his house is in the best possible location with all the amenities available in the house and stores and services nearby. This year we had a electric vehicle rented and there were three charging stations available within a mile without any waiting in line to get the vehicle charged.

A serene outdoor area is framed by tall trees and natural rock formations. A wooden structure is visible in the background, while a small, equipped boat is anchored nearby. Two lounge chairs in purple sit on the grass, inviting relaxation by the lakeside.

Arja's place in Myrskylä is wonderfully comfortable. Everything you need can be found here. Around the house are several walks possible and you have a direct view of the lake and the church. A lovely place. The house is more suitable for four people than for five.

Cottage by the lake in Porvoo

It was great. This cottage is extremely well located, warm, super well equipped. Laura is not the warmest person I know, but she is present and effective. It's probably cultural😉. Every morning, meditating by the lake, or taking a boat on its peaceful water is an enchantment. The center of Provoo is only 15 minutes away. We loved it.

Anja was a very kind and cheerful host. She was very helpful and straightforward. The small cozy cottage has a porch and rocking chair. You're on your own. It has a nearby bathing facility we had to ourselves during our stay. We enjoyed the tranquility, the blueberries and the sauna by the lake very much. We can only recommend it!
