Serviced apartment vacation rentals in Portugal

Both before we arrived and throughout our stay, Maria was always quick to respond to questions and concerns. The added cost of water and electricity charges for longer term stays are very high, and I really appreciated that Maria gave us forewarning of this. The apartment feels smaller than it looks in photos, but had everything we needed for a lovely 7-week stay. The terrace provides extra space to lounge, but because we were there in Oct-Nov, the angle of the sun meant that it was almost always in shade. The wood floors are beautiful, but are quite creaky. I imagine this is typical in buildings of this age. All in all, this was a wonderful place to stay in a vibrant but still relatively quiet part of the city.

Margarida's Orange Apartment was perfect for a couple looking for a serene place to serve as a home base for our first visit to Sao Miguel, Azores. I mean, anytime you are greeted by a small herd of friendly cows walking up to your little outside deck, it's a good sign, right? We chose Ribeira Grande for our 5-day stay because it was away from Ponta Delgada, but still has some lovely restaurants as well as easy access to anywhere on the island. The apartment is part of a property that apparently has been in the family for generations. Simply charming. And, because of the thick walls, great windows and shutters and fine bed linens, sleep was wonderful! The second morning we didn't set an alarm, so we slept for 12 hours. Badly needed apparently, after a 24 hours of travel two days earlier.

The apartment was great for our stay in Porto. It was right next to a metro stop, and within walking distance of the Luis Bridge and the Douro. Walking was a tiny bit further away from the heart of Porto than it looks on a map but this wasn’t an issue for us! The flat had everything we needed, it was comfortable and secure, and Sonia was an excellent host - very responsive and happy to provide plenty of recommendations and information about Porto! Thank you Sonia!

We stayed for a week at The Almond Biscuit. Our apartment was elegant, spacious and comfortable...just as it appears in the photos and the description. Elisa and Luis were very friendly and welcoming, gave us recommendations of places to go ,where to eat and organised a taxi for us to the airport. Shower was spacious, bed very comfy, kitchen well equipped. Very clean. The breakfasts were plentiful, always included a cake of your choice and kept us going all day. We are relatively fit and in our 60s so easily managed the stairs to the 3rd floor apartment and we were able to walk to all the attractions in the old town . There are numerous good quality restaurants nearby. The Primar is overlooking the lovely Igreja do Carmo, a popular attraction. The university is close by. As our stay coincided with freshers week there was late night noise on some nights, mainly at the weekend, obviously beyond the hosts' control. Otherwise, we were very pleased with this good quality accommodation.

The apartment was spacious and everything was clean and tidy. The complex is beautiful and we were very happy to use the pool. Communication with the host was impeccable and we were flexible with arrival and check-in. Overall, we were completely satisfied and can only recommend the accommodation.

The apartment was ideal for 2 couples travelling together, with 2 bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms. It is located in a good central location to explore Sintra and only a 25-minute drive to Cascais which makes for an easy day trip. We were very satisfied with the apartment and would stay there again.

Great location and we loved Lagos. The only very small issue was that we thought we were getting two beds in one bedroom as shown in the pictures. Instead it was just 1 bed so the second person slept on the pullout couch which wasn’t the most comfortable.

The apartment was exactly as described...spacious and very well equipped with everything we could need. The apartment was spotlessly clean and bed was comfortable. The underground parking was an added bonus. We managed to walk to the old town and beach but it is a good 20 minute walk so we woukd recommend a car for anyone with mobility issues or with young children. Yordan was very good at communication through the booking process, on arrival and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Lagos

The place is beautifully and tastefully decorated, which matches the feel of the historic building. Generous provision of everything one could think of for the stay. Besides the listed amenities, there are wines, beer, snacks etc. We have really felt like home during our 3 nights' stay. The location is perfect. Grocery is close by within a minute's walk and a big Contiente Supermarket is within 10 minutes by foot. Mercado do Bolhão and the surrounding shopping streets, and the Funicular dos Guindais are all within reach by an easy stroll of 15 to 20 minutes. The included parking is in a secured gated garage conveniently located close to the apartment. Jorge the host is friendly, easily approachable, and very responsive. We had a very pleasant stay. A pity that we could not stay for longer. Will definitely rebook next time when we visit Porto again. Highly recommended to all who travel to Porto.

The unit is comfortable, clean, and spacious, perfect for a small group or family. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here—it’s well-equipped, easily accessible with a lift, and conveniently located in a central area. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The apartment is in a central location & within walking distance (less than 20 minutes) to most attractions. You enter the building using a keypad. The elevator is very slow but it definitely helps when we move big luggage. There’s a small kitchenette but we don’t cook at all. The washer & dryer in the basement came in handy. Mónica greeted on the first day. She is around very often & answered our questions. I’d recommend her place.

From the moment I booked the reservation, Isabel was solicitous, helpful, responsive and lovely! Situated in a beautiful neighborhood, with a stunning view, and close to a metro, great restaurants, parks, cafes, shops. Just a perfect home to have on my first visit to such a wonderful place.

What a remarkable property ! If this is available..BOOK it . The hosts sent us a beautiful guide all about Porto full of info and personal recommendations which was very helpful. They arranged for someone to personally meet us and show us the property..a wonderful touch. He also helped us with check out and helped us get to our riverboat which was close by. The view of the river was outstanding. We have stayed in properties all over the world and this one is a true GEM.

Beyond peaceful month long stay, traveling with my dog. Martin and staff are kind and helpful if you need anything. Super pet friendly with an enclosed yard. Beautiful views from the terrace. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, I very much enjoyed my time here.

Teresa was attentive at all times, in each inquiry, I was unable to meet her because she traveled, but communication was smooth. The apartment in a spectacular location, a few meters from Trinidad station and takes you straight to the airport. Walking you get everywhere. Everything's very good!!! 100% recommended. It's annoying about not having a double bed for a couple, but they fall asleep the same haha. Thank you Teresa and Ana, she gave us the keys💯💯💯

Amelia was very nice and accommodating . Most major attractions were within 25 minute walking distance or bolt/ Uber 5Euro range, many restaurants and coffee/ pastry shops nearby. It would definitely be on my list for my next stay in Lisbon.

Great studio with plenty of amenities. Comfortable bed and hot, powerful shower Location is excellent and nearly all major sites are within an easy walk plus metro & buses are very close Flat doesn't have a great deal of natural light but it's adequate especially when supplemented by artificial light Some noise from neighbouring cafe so earplugs were helpful on occasion Generally a pleasant stay and Hostwise were very responsive and even provided some nice welcoming presents 😀

Good place to stay.

This is a house with some age, where it is noted that it has been progressively improved. It has an excellent bathroom. It is well equipped. It is spacious. There is a very close school which implies some noise at the time of entry and at 10:30. During the night it is very quiet. The person responsible for the rental is very attentive, which makes us feel like we are in our home. A good choice quality/price.
