We had a fantastic time in Porto and would highly recommend this place for any couple looking to be centrally located and yet somehow just above the crowds and noise. A short walk and everything is available including many places to eat and shop. We walked to the river within 20 minutes and were about 10 minutes from the metro. We contacted Maria Joao about a couple of small things and she responded immediately to our complete satisfaction. We would readily book this again.

Excellent location. The area is quite lively on the weekend, with the weeknights a little more quiet. Loved having breakfast right down stairs in the morning. Looking out at the irega del carmo in the evening made for an unforgettable experience.

beautiful home and location! we stayed here with 3 kids between 10 and 6 years old. the apartment was great with everything we could need. comfy beds, plenty of space and great hosts. only negative is the noisy metro system right outside the window. noisy during the day and hard to rest with the windows open. not an issue at night time though as the metro is not running. the apartment block is a beautiful though the garden space at the back is not kept in a usable condition but seating area is comfy.

We absolutely loved our stay in Porto! The apartment was lovely - exactly like the photos, and very clean. Location was perfect, peaceful but still had loads of places for food an drink nearby, but also just a short walk to the centre. Communication was great - host was super responsive to any queries. Would 100% recommend!

My suggestion is to have a check-in before 4:00 pm, considering that 11:00 am is the check-out.

One can not imagine being in a better place that ruby charm. We had a great time, it was the right distance to move to the historical center, close to the subway and buses lines. The apartment was very clean, and with plenty of intentions to welcome you. Thank you very much maria and manuel, we will be definitely coming back

An ideal place to stay to see the most touristic areas of Porto because you can get everywhere on foot. Francisco is also a great host, attentive before arrival, and he also offers recommendations and several additional services (we used the parking space and it was a success without a doubt). We were also able to take our dog, because she was allowed in the accommodation, and it was fantastic.

Amazing location!! Right downtown. Easily walkable to all site seeing locations, great restaurants and shops nearby! Apartment was perfect for weekend in the city. Some street noise at night but Maria provides a fan and white noise app on my phone did the trick to easily mask it. Highly recommend!

The accommodation was as pictured, clean and spacious! It is in a good location and there is a gas station nearby. The hot water came out well and the wifi was fast. The host's wife greeted us, and she was so kind. They also informed us about public transportation, and everything was perfect in the accommodation. I highly recommend it. 👍🏻

close to one of the main station. places to see are within walking distance. easy to get to and hosts/admin are very helpful and responsive which is a huge help.

Loved our stay in Porto and loved this apartment. It was perfectly located and even though It is close to the bars I didn’t hear any noise at night! Airbnb was clean and exactly what we wanted! Would definitely come back!

It was a very nice apartment, really close to the centre, extremely friendly and helpful host Maria, who was always in touch, responded to every query and has made my stay very comfortable. I really felt liked home. Highly recommend!
