House vacation rentals in Porto

Very cozy apartment in an old building with a good outdoor space. Rui was an excellent host and very responsive to any request, including getting us a new kettle! He was friendly and offered us lots of information about the city and neighbourhood. Pet-friendly was a huge bonus. The house is smaller than it seems in the photos but it is liveable and comfortable. There is a small gas heater for those chilly or damp nights. The two bedrooms was a huge plus. Kitchen had everything we needed as did the bathroom. The back garden was a nice place to relax on a sunny day. The neighbourhood is very walkable and close to all sorts of things like the metro, buses, cafes, supermarkets, parks, and restaurants. It doesn't take long to walk anywhere, or to take a bus into centro. The street is small and a very large car may have a problem parking there, but we didn't. We liked that the neighbourhood isn't too busy and is mostly residential. We would definitely choose this place again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house — it was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and answered all our questions quickly, which made everything smooth and easy. We also appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage in the house before check-in — it was a big help

We stayed in the accommodation for two days, close to the center but not in the chaos, bright and clean environment, furnished as in the photos. The second bathroom is comfortable. Everything was perfect, recommended and I would go back.

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! Prior to arrival, Jorge and Sofia were readily available to answer any questions, then Jorge met us upon arrival with treats! He spent time showing us how to operate everything in the house, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Jorge also shared some history on the exquisite home that he and Sofia restored, which is truly a labor of love! The pictures do not do it justice-this is a gem. Jorge and Sofia also checked in on us during our stay and gave us additional suggestions of what to see and do. The area was perfect for transportation, local markets, shopping, cultural points of interest, safety, or just sitting in the backyard admiring the Camellias :) Thank you!

Very nice apartment, the terrace is lovely. Public transportation is close by. Supermarket at 5 minutes. Free parking nearby. we had a pleasant stay there.

The apartment was cosy, clean and close to bars, restaurants and buses. Ubers came to apartment. Very reasonable. Beautiful views when you walk down to Main Street from the apartment. Would recommend xxx

This was a lovely Airbnb for us with 5 adults and a baby. Nick was so friendly and gave great local recommendations. The neighbourhood is a short metro into the city centre, but had nice local cafes and restaurants and was very close to groceries.

We were a group of 9 guests. Check-in and check-out were both very comfortable. The house has a lot of amenities and an indoor and outdoor pool. Having breakfast every morning has been great. It was also very varied and very rich. A highly recommended house for large groups.

Thankyou Afonso for a lovely stay at your home We had everything we needed there and really enjoyed our stay despite For future guests we recommend an early trip on Grayline sightseeing tour to get your bearings around Porto/Matosinhos Stop 9 just 5 min walk from apartment Locally : Just down the pedestrian lane from apartment there are good restaurants Camelia Garden for lunch/brunch and Paparoca and Arcadia for morning coffee/pastries Porto is easy to get to - could walk prob 20/ 30 mins but can get Infante tram from Camelia (€6 each one way ) but also found Ubers cheaper to get into town only €6 Didn’t really find a close convenience store nearby so just bear in mind for milk water etc Al Mare and Habitat for dinner is excellent

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

Our stay at Douro Garden went wonderfully, even in a difficult context - National Black-out. The team was proactive and understanding of the situation. The quality of the accommodation was very good and in line with expectations. The desire to satisfy the customer was felt and we thank them. I would highly recommend it

Filipe was a very nice and accommodating host. We had to postpone our check-in a bit but Filipe was super flexible and always available. The apartment has everything you need for a city trip. Within walking distance of all attractions.

The spectacular property, managed to overcome, and quite the photos of the listing. A lot of whimsy, care and attention in every detail. Cleaning note 1000. Fantastic. I recommend it to everyone, and if you return to the region, this house will be my priority.

After you go through the door at street level you walk up a flight of exterior stairs to the front door. The two main bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and bathrooms are on this level then up open stairs to sitting area and additional beds. The apartment is beautifully designed and decorated and beds are very comfortable. It’s very quiet at night. One small store with some food about five minutes away. Clara is very friendly and helpful.

we had a great time. the accommodation is very clean, functional and pretty it is also very well located in relation to the center of Porto (only one metro station) Eddy is responsive and kind. Thank you very much for this lovely. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a peaceful night at Leonor's, who was responsive and very flexible for our late arrival… her place is quiet, very clean, the bed comfortable, and is true to the description☺️. In short, I recommend ☺️

Great accommodation. Very well equipped and clean. Isabel was a great host and very responsive. Whilst the loft is not central, the local area is very charming and well connected. We walked into the city centre on most days. I would definitely recommend to others.
