Beachfront vacation rentals in Porto District

A very well-equipped house in a lovely seaside village, larger than the photos make it seem. Antonio greeted us like we were old friends and was really helpful with a couple of logistical issues caused by our late arrival. Miramar is a smashing little spot with a couple of nice eateries. 20 minutes on the train from central Porto and half an hour walk down the beach to the more bustling village of Aguda.

The house of Susana , is charming , super cozy , we feel at home . Pena was the little time we enjoyed it , they were good times in the family and to improve we took our dog , who was also very well received . The only aspect I would say to improve is really the time of check out , it is quite early , I think it does not make much sense especially for those who have not been able to enjoy the house enough, which unfortunately was our case . thank you very much Susana for your sympathy with everything ! We'll be back for sure!

The location is amazing, a few steps from the beach. Balcony has a view to the ocean!! Fully equiped kitchen and everything you need for breakfast. Super cozy place!

Jorge & Susana are brilliant hosts. they are always responsive and proactive in offering suggestions. the house was perfect for what we needed. Great restaurants in walking distance and a 20 minute Bolt ride into Porto. We would strongly recommend.

I loved the place, Maria was always very attentive to us, my daughter had a lot of fun and it is an advantage to be able to take our dogs with us.

The house is located by the sea (the beach is less than 5 min walk) and overlooks a garden. We had a lovely stay there and were able to easily visit the surroundings (Gaia, Aveiro, Porto). Special mention for Hugo who is very available and gives good advice.

We recently enjoyed a delightful week-long stay with our family at this enchanting house in the heart of Vila da Conde. The property's romantic outdoor architecture immediately sets it apart from the surrounding homes, creating a truly charming atmosphere. As a group of adults with children, we found the house to be perfectly suited to our needs. Located next to a small city park with a playground and cafés, the house offers easy access to local amenities. Historical sites and museums are within a short walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The spacious interior, including three bathrooms, was a major plus, and the outdoor pool, seating area, and grill provided ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. Rui was present upon our arrival to give us the keys. He generously offered us breakfast and then advised us on many activities and restaurants nearby. The accommodation was very spacious and there was ample space to unfold. The ambience is rather functional and not particularly homely but we lacked nothing. You are privately accommodated there, but also anonymous. You won't be making contacts there. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine washes well. The wifi router is located in the property and the internet is fast. I particularly liked the large sliding wall with which you can protect the living area from the sun. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, with the gastronomy in the area offering little change. Shopping facilities are a 15-20 min walk. After all, you have a vacation and plenty of time. We felt comfortable and the place was absolutely worth its money. Thank you

The quiet area with dunes and sea views, a great bed and a great shower, were fundamental elements of our experience in this apartment. The most unpleasant thing was the communication with those responsible for the accommodation: all the people I exchanged messages with were kind and diligent to respond but the fact that they referred us to a website asking for more data and more procedures (in addition to those provided here on Airbnb) made me angry and frustrated. In this process of exchanging messages I had to do what I consider a disproportionate effort for a simple booking. For the sake of the next guests, I hope you can improve on the simplification of the process! I appreciate the flexibility and kindness you had at check-in and check-out!

We had such a lovely stay and the property exceeded our expectations. In our view, the property is even better than the photos showed. The property had everything we needed. We had great fun on the paddle boards Susana provided. It is worth noting that the public beach (400m away) does get noisy with some loud music, but we still had a wonderful time. Susana was great and very helpful and always responded promptly. Thank you Susana!!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

We had a fabulous week at Lettia. It is about 25 minutes away from downtown Porto and right across the river from Matosinhos; which is a lovely city in itself. There are so many restaurants in the area you can eat in or get take out. The villa was exactly as pictured and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We had breakfast delivered everyday which consisted of an abundance of breads and pastries and fresh orange juice. They also stocked the fridge prior to our arrival with cheese, fruit, water, milk, ham and yogurt. You are not too far from the beach and can enjoy Leca da Palmeira or the beach in Matosinhos. The e-bikes were great to use to go the grocery store. Rita and her Dad made us feel right at home and were extremely responsive. Thank you for a terrific stay.

Had a great week stay at Agudhabi beach house. Rodrigo and his family were very helpful during our stay. Our favourite things about this house were: -Right on the beach and bike path Our daughter loved riding her bike around -Some city bikes provided to explore on and beach things provided like a bucket and spade, umbrella, windbreak -Short walk to a few local restaurants and cafes meant we didn’t have to use the car. Intermarche was a 6 min drive if needed & mini market locally -Easy access to Porto, we used the hourly train a couple of times but with our small family it was easier and only around €9-12 to take an Uber in around 20 minutes. -Hammock to chill in the courtyard! -Parking on the street outside the driveway. One thing to note:- our 4 year old tripped a couple of times on the stairs to the twin bedroom and there are no sides to the handrail and a big drop. She slept downstairs afterwards. It’s a risk if you’ve got very small kids. But only the twin room is upstairs

Ruca's garden shed is located in a large garden with lots of sun and shade spots. Absolute privacy in the 'secret garden'. With a private access to the beach, it is ideal for joggers and sunbathers. Train station is close by and you are quickly in Porto. Ruca is a sweet and wonderful hostess.

The view of the accommodation on the sea is incredible 😻 we could enjoy the sunset every night. Listing matches description and photos perfectly! Communication is easy and responses are very quick.

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

Maria’s place was fabulous, she communicated well in advance advising that she couldn’t meet us but arranged a friend to see us in her apartment. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood which we love. After sightseeing in the Porto this retreat was worth coming to. Walking distance to the waterfront which on our first night we got to see a fantastic sunset. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, thank you so much for Nescafé pods. I enjoyed my quiet time enjoying my cup of coffee with an ocean view. Amenities were all walking distance, pastries, groceries, and restaurants. Thank you Maria, if in the Porto will come back and advise friends and family of your apartment.

We were very welcome the house is in a very quiet area and the neighbors very friendly and hear no noise inside the building and inside the apartment. Impeccable!

very functional and clean apartment except for hair in the bathroom and bedding. pity there was work on the street. the neighborhood is a little sad and difficult to park

We loved our stay at Patricia’s in Vila do Conde. It was right between the old town, which is beautiful with some great bars and restaurants, and the fantastic beach which has plenty of room to pick your spot and have a bit of privacy. We are from Scotland and all of the Portuguese people we met were really friendly and helpful. It was a perfect balance for us of relaxation, museum and art visits and a city trip to Porto which was stunning. But very busy! We were glad we chose to stay in Vila do Conde. Thank you Patricia 💚
