Most wonderful home (the 'puzzle door' was a quirky wonder). The garden plantings, outdoor sculpture and soothing surf sounds at night were magical. I would most certainly make a return visit.

The Swell House is the best home we have ever stayed at, anywhere, in the past 10+ years we've been on Airbnb. Waking up to beautiful views of the water, the sound of the waves, sipping a warm mug of coffee while bird watching, are just the start of each incredible day of our weekend. We also decompressed in the private sauna facing the water at sunset. Inside the home, every room was stocked with everything you could possibly need, including some personal touches and extreme attention to detail. The expansive yard was perfect for our dogs, and also had a bountiful garden growing fresh veggies. We enjoyed using the grill each night accompanied by the produce. In the evenings, we relaxed by the wood burning stove and listened to the record collection. Throughout the weekend I barely used my phone as I felt so relaxed and connected with the coast. We will definitely be visiting again and we look forward to our next stay at the Swell House!

We had a wonderful time staying here! This was a great launching point for exploring Olympic National Park during our stay. We really enjoyed having the hot tub and access to the Discovery Trail while being back at the house. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

Was a great spot for a stay in Sooke!

The home was absolutely amazing. When we walked in there was healing music playing, lit fireplace, soaps, bath salts, and we each had our own beds, robes and the tub and sauna was healing. Great communication and Emily was awesome too. Thank you for allowing and trusting us to stay in your Sooke Retreat. Great beaches and trails nearby. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Laurie’s place was great. We spent few days here while exploring Olympic National Park. The house was cute, clean, cozy and in such a beautiful and peaceful area. We loved drinking our coffee on the porch and enjoying the scenery. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I came to stay here with our two dogs for our 10 year wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. The price was very fair for how much space you get and the bathroom was even nicer than in the pictures. The private patio was a highlight for us, especially being this property is 420 friendly. The soundproofing really was noticeable inside the unit as well which was great for my dogs, they were very relaxed here as well. Loved the location, quiet and private while still being close to everything you’d need while also only being 30 mins away from downtown Victoria. Overall a very good experience and wonderful hosts, would definitely come here again with my dogs.

Nicole’s home was beautiful and even better than the photos depicted. The location was fantastic and very serene. Nicole and her co-hosts were very responsive, gracious, and understanding. Fantastic all around, thank you so, so much!

This place was GORGEOUS. The layout of the house is so nice and big. Perfect for our trip. My husband and I traveled with our medium/large dogs and a friend and we never felt on top of each other. The kitchen and dining room were huge! They had everything possible to cook with. We thought we’d be eating out for our three night stay but ended up cooking two of the nights! The backyard is magical. Hummingbirds galore. The pond provides beautiful sounds all day. Beds were comfy and pillows weren’t stiff. The hot tub was a dream. Felt like a resort. This place is a real gem. We already booked another stay!

We had a lovely stay at Billie’s place while visiting Salt Spring for a soccer tournament, and for our first trip with our new puppy! The place was very clean, lots of space, the kitchen had a large fridge and freezer for our snacks, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I even okayed the piano for the first time in years there! We enjoyed having a mudroom to take our boots/cleats/shoes off in and wipe our puppy’s paws before going inside. There’s also a nice lawn in front where we could play with the pup and it was walking distance from the local cidery. Overall it felt like our home away from home during our busy weekend visit.

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

Our family of 8 felt right at home. Everyone having a king bed was very helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Sean answered back any inquiries quite quickly. We highly recommend Sean’s place.

We had a lovely time staying in Tammy’s home. It was really clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. She is very responsive and we were able to check in a bit early on our arrival. The bed is very comfortable and there is a lovely view of the water from the patio. We would definitely stay here again! The resort has a tennis court, lots of grills, one campfire pit, dock for crabbing or boats, beach for clamming. The property is very well kept. Thanks again Tammy for such a lovely stay!

This is the third time that we’ve been back to the condos and I’m sure we’ll keep visiting in the future. Besides just how amazing the property and surroundings are, our condo came exactly as advertised. Perfect place for my family and dogs to spend a week. The condo was perfectly clean and we had everything that we needed. Definitely recommended!

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Wanda's place is beautiful and peaceful. It feels like a private getaway - highly recommended! Well equipped for dogs (and people, of course). Comfortable bed and furniture and the kitchen has everything you need. Lovely little porch to sit on in the property. Both Wanda and her dog are friendly and wonderful. We hope to come back!!

Owner provided a Shutterfly book with check in/out instructions, favorite restaurants recommended hikes and attractions. Definitely try New Day Eatery, Midtown Public House for noodle/rice bowls and Mighty Pine for local drafts. Cute decor/linens/towels. The extra touches like local ground coffee, wood for the fire pit and s’mores basket was appreciated (even though we had misty rain most days).

Bill and Shelley’s place is one of the most well stocked and welcoming places we’ve stayed. We planned to stay for a month to be close to the hospital whilst we waited for our baby to arrive and they had everything we could have ever needed for a long time stay. They left us a lovely note and some goodies and the suite felt just like home. The location is super quiet and private and their back garden is beautiful. Bill and Shelley were also very responsive and very accommodating when we had to cut our stay significantly due to baby arriving early. First class accommodation and hosts!

Amazing place, we really love the house! Fully stocked kitchen, huge bathtub, comfy rooms, this place exceeded our expectations. The host was super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Our host, jacquie was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Our cottage felt like we were in a little piece of paradise in the trees. Hot tub views to the ocean were also enjoyed. Thank you for hosting us Jacquie 💕

Miriam's place is the most well apponted and stocked Air b and B's we've stayed in. Beautiful and felt like home with all of the lovely furnishing! 10 out of 10 reccomend!

Niki and Neale were both amazing hosts! They were really sweet people. This is the best place to stay on Salt Spring if you’re a couple. The location is so convenient and the view from the bedroom is beautiful. We will definitely be staying with them again to see their dog Gus and cat Mickey. Thanks for the unforgettable stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tim and Emis place in Langford and it was a delightful experience. The check-in process was seamless, and was incredibly welcoming and responsive to any questions I had. The space itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the toffee bar and mineral water. The location was perfect Overall, I highly recommend Tim and Emis place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay. I would definitely return on my next visit.
